 "Jokes apart, But Anika just answer my one question" I nodded directing him to ask.

"We, basically I hurt you in such a bad way and you still forgave me and everyone of us! Why did you not take a revenge back? Didn't this revenge thing crossed your mind once?"

I took a deep breath before opening my mouth but closing it once again , hesitating to tell him the truth or not.

"Anika don't hesitate. " He grabbed my hands nodding to go ahead.

"Taking revenge surely crossed my mind. The day I came to know about you guys playing this charade, I felt anger running down my every vein. I was so infuriated that I ...I cannot even explain to you. I felt betrayed by my own parents, by my sister, best friend and others. Have you ever come across such situation? I asked to which he nodded in no.

I had made a full proof plan to get back to you guys but then something striked my mind. Being a psychiatrist you know what aggression leads you too, always to self destruction path. I know you guys did this for me but if you were in my shoes Shivaay, you might have felt what I had once felt. After thinking much about it, I discarded plan knowing it's really immature of me to take revenge back and hurt you guys. I wouldn't gain anything in return but would feel guilty. " I completed not wanting to stretch the topic further.

Shivaay pulled me into a hug, "You are too good for us Anika." He mumbled carressing my back. I snuggled into his arms, keeping my head on his chest , listening to his heartbeats that were no less than a lullaby.

...

I woke up to see myself literally sleeping on Shivaay. Gosh! Am I not heavy?

"No you are not!" Came his reply .

"Did I speak that loud?"

"Yes you did. Infact you are doing it right now." He chuckled.

"I'm sorry, you must be feeling numb because of me." I tried to stand up only to be pulled into his arms once again.

"I loved when you cocooned into me. Don't worry I'm not numb. By the way Good Morning." He kissed my forehead.

"Good morning" I moved towards his cheek to kiss him but stop abruptly.

"What happened?" He asked looking confused.

"Morning breath ." I stood up quickly, rushing towards washroom to brush first.

"Anika that's not fare." He continued whining like a child that how I did cheating.

"Shivaay you are such a kid." I exclaimed walking back . 'Umahh' I kissed him on his cheek making a noise to which he forwarded his another cheek. I gave him another kiss when he pointed towards his lips .

"Cheapde!" I lightly pushed him and backed off. "Shivaay go and get ready, everyone would be waiting for us."

"Just wait and watch soon to be Mrs.Oberoi, I'll take my kiss with interest." He pecked my lips and went away while I stood there blushing with just one word revolving in my mind 'Mrs.Oberoi.'

...

"Haye! Mein gudh khake mar java! Finally mere billu ne mujhe meri soni bahu lakar de di." Pinky aunty spoke hugging me. We had finally announced about us to everyone and they all came forward to congratulate us expressing their happiness .

"Mrs and Mrs.Trivedi abb toh Anika ko jaldi bida kardo!" Everyone laughed seeing Pinky aunty's excite. God! She is too cute.

"This calls for a party!" Rudra shouted.

"Chup kar khotiya! Kal shaadi hai aur mujhe sab pata hai tujhe sirf party ka bahana chahiye!" Dadi smacked Rudra's head.

"Dadi!" He pouted .

Everyone was so happy. I smiled seeing my crazy yet khidkitod  family. Day was spent well. We played dumsharas, antakshari, dog and the bone, sakli and what not! It was girls vs boys and eventually we girls won! Yeahhh.

I made sure everything was present from my hair pins to matching lipstick for tomorrow's function. I checked everything before going inside my covers and switching off the room light.

..

Knock* Knock*..Wait! Nobody was knocking at my door but I was knocking at Shivaay's door.

As soon as he opened the door, I wrapped my arms around him
"Annie...what happened?" He asked closing the door behind. I clutched onto him not speaking anything.

"I had a nightmare!" I spoke .

"Wanna talk about it?" He carressed my cheeks with him thumb.

"I had a dream that you are standing Infront of me in groom's attire and marrying Ragini. I know it was just a dream and you aren't interested in Ragini but just a mere thought of you with someone else doesn't go well with me." I played with his fingers .

"I'm sorry sweetheart, you are having such nightmare because of me. I promise we wouldn't pull such stunt in future . " I cuddled into his arms not speaking anything. I don't know why but I love being in his arms .  I welcomed sleep to engulf me into darkness.

...

"Shivaay stop showering flowers at me, bride and groom are there" I pointed towards Ragini and Vikram who were now taking seven rounds around holy fire.

"You are my to be bride sweetheart!" He winked continuing to shower flowers at me.

Ragini had been constantly smiling, doesn't her cheeks hurt? Vikram tied nuptical chain around her neck. I felt my hand entwining and I knew who the person was. I tightened my hold and looked at the perfect couple infront of us.

Indeed no one is perfect but when the two people  get tied in a pure bond they become perfect in all the senses just like soulmates. No story is perfect, it has ups and downs.

One day we two would be standing their taking rounds around holy fire, he will be filling my maang with sindoor. But there is still time for me and Shivaay to walk on this path.

It's  a start to our story, it's just a step towards the journey of becoming soulmates.
