"He pecked my lips before quickly climbing down the pipe as if he had done mastery in it." He passed a flying kiss and went away .

Thud* "What the hell!" I shouted as I saw my room door been opened with bang. 

"Are you okay Annie? " Dev rushed inside cupping my cheeks, followed by Arnav, Mallika and Gauri.

"What happened? Why weren't you opening the door? Arnav asked grabbing my shoulder.

"Di, we were so tensed!" Gauri said taking me into a hug.

"I am fine guys. I was in the washroom plus I was listening to music so I guess I didn't hear Mallika calling me." I lied .

"Oh! you got us scared baby girl!" Arnav smacked me lightly .

"I am so sorry guys. I made you all tensed for no reason." I was genuinely feeling sorry .

"Make sure not to repeat this again." Dev commanded in serious tone to which I nodded.

"By the way, I was trying to call you since yesterday night." 

"I guess, I forgot to charge my phone." I smiled sheepishly

"Umm..guys I think we should get ready for the function , it's already late." Mallika said to which others nodded and moved out of the room while Dev stood back looking towards me in suspicious way.

"Don't you wanna get ready?" I asked knowing why he is standing here.

"What you did last night,huh!?" He took a step forward making me step back.

"I...I actually..forgot that I had asked you to meet near the beach side." I guess our plan was flop yesterday.

All of sudden he hugged me taking me into surprise. "Thank you Annie, thank you so much." He whispered. I wrapped my arms around him.

"Aye! don't thank me. What are friends for?" 

"If it was not you and Shivaay we couldn't have cleared the misunderstanding between us due to our so called "tadi" in your language.

"It's not us but you guys took a step forward. We just gave you a little shove but it was you both who decided to swim together and get back safely to the shore. I can't tell you but i'm so happy for you." 

He kissed my forehead ,"I'll make you meet her in the function" he said while I nodded.

"Now go and let me get ready." I shoved him out of my room and stuck my tongue out before closing the door on his face.

"Annie, so rude yaar." I heard him and laughed .

I looked at my best friend who had permanent smile on her face. Happiness reflected from her face. The Chooda and Kalire was being  put on a her wrist by the mama Maternal Uncle followed by her aunt and brothers . And then it was covered with a cloth. I could see few tears escaping from aunty's eyes looking at her daughter so grown up and ready to fly away from her home to build a new nest.

I found my mom wiping her tears , I directed her not to cry . It is always hard for girl's parents to see her leaving them. God! why am I being so senti.

I looked around to find no sign of Shivaay. I couldn't even ask anyone about his whereabouts as all are unaware of us getting back together. 

"Looking for Shivaay?" A voice startled me.

"God! Om you sacred me." I stated trying to calm my raised heartbeats.

"I'm sorry for startling you. BY the way Shivaay is not here. He is busy with his business call." 

"Who said i'm looking for Shivaay?" 

"Are you sure? Because I saw someone climbing down the pipe this morning and....

"Om..shhhh!" I pulled him aside. 

He had a smug expression on his face. I had no option but to tell him the truth.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." He acted, zipping  his mouth.

"Thank you." He nodded .

"Finally, I found you." Dev came out of nowhere. "Om, can I borrow my bestie for sometime?" HE asked

"Sure bro. " He went away while Dev pulled me with him.

"Are we going to meet Sona?" I asked remembering our morning conversation.

"yes, she is eager to meet you too."

"I know I don't need to introduce introduce but still, Anika meet Sonakshi and Sona meet my best friend Annie."

"Finally I met you. It's pleasure meeting you Anika." She hugged me to my surprise , I looked at Dev who was grinning.

"Like wise." Sometimes you need few days or even weeks to get comfortable with a stranger and sometime it just takes a mere second. Trust me, me and Sona in few moments were busy laughing and chatting with each others as if we are childhood friends.

"I'm sorry Anika, I thought so wrong about you." She said looking down.

"Hey its okay. If I would be in your situation, I would have thought the same." I assured her not to feel bad.

"Okay girls, now i'm feeling ignored. It's been an hour you guys are busy chatting and i'm trying to gain your attention." Dev huffed looking annoyed.

"Aww, someone is turning impatient." I teased him .

"Sona what magic have you done on him?" I asked while she blushed.

"Annie, stop teasing her and now go. I wanna spend sometime with my girlfriend." He pulled her closer by her waist making her gasp. I swear she was all red by now.

"Aren't you my bestie?" I passed a sarcasm .

"Anyways, i'm going now. Have fun but not too much fun!" I laughed and went away looking for my prince charming. Note the sarcasm>

He is truly an idiot. Rather than focusing on his girlfriend he is busy romancing with his phone. I have got such an unromantic boyfriend, God! I cursed him while destroying the flowers kept beside me. Let him come, I won't even let him touch me. Wait! why am I behaving like this? I should not be a clingy girlfriend , I need to give him his space. I mean he is CEO of Oberoi Industries and he has lot on his shoulder to deal with. 

How can I forget this man! Thank god I remembered.  It's time to have some fun. I smirked as a plan stricked my mind.
