Sighing, I dropped the pamphlets on the bench I sat in the park.

Rush was playing with Rose on the swings.

He begged me to take him to the swings to play with her.

I looked up it was Armaan, in his letterman jacket and dimple flashing on his left cheek.

He sat beside me picking the pamphlets before I could take off from his sight and he read them cocking his head and then glancing at me his smile growing bigger.

I snatched them from him, "behave"

He chuckled, "Waitering? Are you fuckin serious?"

My face burned I covered the pamphlets with my arms, "Ha... not for me idiot, it's for Sana"

He laughed not believing it, "No shit! Silver Singhania waitering that would be a sight to see no actually a vlog should be made on it!"

"It's not funny Armaan " I said, not in a mood for jokes. He sensed my mood and slung his arm around my shoulder, "why are you looking so down?"

His hazel eyes studied me warmly, the only person who cared enough to ask. I shifted towards him seeking comfort.

He smelled fresh, his hair wet like he just came out of the shower or swimming. There had always been calmness in Armaan's company that I liked.

"You know what..... I know a better job for you" he said brushing my hair at the back of my ear. His fingers lingered there, I took my eyes off Rush running after Rose laughing to Armaan's honey eyes fixed on me.

"You can be my babysitter" he grinned his eyes glancing at my lips.

"I can be yours" he replied so innocently that I laughed and elbowed him.

"Yeah yeah" I waved my hand at him still laughing.

"Hey watch out!" Armaan yelped pulling his shoe back as a guy storming in front had stepped on it.

I watched the tall frame, it was Dhruv in all his glory for a change he was in a white shirt and ... yeah had black jeans, the way he walked and made casual clothes iconic was applauding, his messy black hair and glaring eyes had got every girls attention in the park including me, alas

I didn't know I was staring until his glare found my eyes.

I pulled Rush to me patting his back, "Don't cry buddy, he is a monster when he goes away you can play with Rose again"

"We should protect Rose from the monster nah?" Rush hiccuped in my hair he was literally shaking with fear

I glared at Dhruv who was frowning at Rose where she was holding on to the see-saw swing for her life.

"Armaan take care of Rush" I snapped

I walked to where they were.

"I want to play with Rush you go awayy" said Rose.

"You have tuition don't act like a child," said the monster, gorgeous monster

Dhruv acted like I was invisible. He tugged Rose, "Looks like the swing is coming home too" when Rose tightened her little hold on the Swing.

I pushed Dhruv who gave me Are you crazy? stare not even moving a step.

He walked to the other side coolly ignoring me, "What will you take to come home Rose?"

Rose wailed throwing her legs, "You are a shithead" Since I was in between I got her kick in my stomach. I stumbled back, strong hand held me before I fell back.

I could feel the firmness of his chest. My heartbeat raced, and I glanced up pushing my hair off my face.

I was taken aback but I smiled sweetly, "Millions times better than you" I looped my arm around Armaan's who appeared to start a fight by taking a step in front, "come on let's go" I tugged him

Dhruv watched me with an unreadable expression for a moment then he turned away and pulled up Rose with one hand like a piece of cake.

I frowned if it was that easy then why....

I shook my head and grabbed Rush's hand who was crying waving at crying Rose as Dhruv carried her away.
