Chapter three.
SAMMY'S POV.
Cynthia and I share a look. Tommy's gaze still on us.
I jump when the bell rings, signalling the start of the first period.
"Huh...gotta go. See you fuckers later." I grin, taking to my heel.
"Don't think you can escape from me bitch. I want an explanation." Tommy hollers as I run off.
I stop at the door of the maths class, listening tight for Miss Donna's voice.
Nothing. Just noice from the people inside. Good. That means she isn't here, yet.
I take a step inside, withdrawing it in seconds.
It's him. My Sekzy ass.
I slowly poke my head through the door, watching the god like creature sleep peacefully. Head on his desk.
My eyes moves to the person next to him.
Desmond.
Hehehehe.
I fish out my phone, dialing his number.
How did I get his number? Am the queen of the school, everybody is my friend.
Just kidding. We exchanged numbers when paired for a chemistry practical last session.
"Hey Des, can we talk? Am at the door." I say when the line comes to life. Sending him a small wave.
I hang up as he walks over to me, smiling nervously.
He is a pretty shy one.
"Hey Sam." His hand unconsciously moves to the back of his hair, nervously.
"Hey....umm...I just wanted to ask a favour from you." I smile back.
"A fav–our?" He stutters. "Ho–w may I he–lp you Sam?"
"My seat is at the front." I point at the only available sit at the front. "Me and Miss Donna kinda have a problem. Can you please exchange seat with me please."
"Please." I repeat, this time with my signature puppy eyes.
"U–hhh okay." He nods.
"Thanks Des." I give him a tight hug, his body turning stiff in seconds.
He wastes no time. Quickly packing out his things for me.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
I feel kinda bad I lied to him. But for that sekzy ass. I'd do it again.
I quitely slip into the chair, sending a glance at the sleeping beauty beside me.
If it wouldn't be so fucking creepy I'd like to feel his hair.
"Good morning class." I look up at the familiar voice. Straighting up when she sends a look my way.
"Good morning." I mouth back, watching her scowl back. So far she is my favorite teacher.
And she teaches my favourite subject.
Maths. Yup. Hard to believe right, must people hate maths but I love it.
Why? Maths is hard, no bullshit. And as the dumb person I am, i never get the answer right, a fact. I mean, never. So just put down anything that comes to my mind.
Easy right? Why bother solving when already you know the answer. FAILURE.
"Since this is a new session, let's start it off with something simple. Open your text book to page 136, and solve the exercise F-I." Miss Donna orders earning groans from almost everybody in the class.
I see my sleeping beauty sit up from the corner of my eye, adjusting himself.
Should I talk to him? What do I say? Something that doesn't makes me look creepy. I got an idea.
"Humm...can I share your textbook with you, please." I smile, picking the simplest and sweetest voice in my voice list. "I forgot to bring mine."
He stares at me like a alien from somewhere not earth, his face holding a blank expression. "It's the first class. Forgetting to bring along your textbook only proves your unseriousness."
Did he just fucking?
He slides the textbook to my side of the desk then goes back to sleep. "You can return it when you are done."
"Don't you need it too?" I ask in confusion.
"I have solved it all before." He replies curtly leaving no room for any conversation.
Ouch. It hurts. I guess he doesn't wants to be friends.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
"I know it was just a dream, but I couldn't help getting scared." I admit. "I was scared that the wish will really come true. What if I ended up seeing the milkman, or the weird old man that lives down the street? Then the next thing you know.... puff.. you get an invitation that I am getting married in a months time."
Why did I even make the stupid wish in the first place? Oh–I remember, a particular idiot made me to.
"So the 'That person' is someone you haven't meet before?" Tommy pushes.
"Hmm.." I nod gleefully. "He has that perfect ass. Fuck, I can't wait to see what's under that hoodie."
"See...she has fallen for him already." Cynthia roughly tugs on her hair. That must hurt. "It's the wish. It's actually happening. I don't think I will ever be able to forgive myself for this."
"Don't sweat it Cynthia, he is hot." I wink.
"That I will have to confirm for myself."
"You know you both could have avoided all this by staying at home." Tommy states with a disappointed look. "Say you are sick or something. I can never get used to your dumbness."
Fuck. He is right.
Cynthia and I share a look, am sure the same thought Is running through her head.
I am dumb, I admit it. But atleast I know I am not as dumb as the crazy bitch beside me. Look up the word dumb on google and her face will be the first thing you see.
"Can you explain the 'That person' to me?" Tommy asks.
"He is tall. Even more taller than you. Milky skin violet eyes." I pause, throwing a look at the form that walks through the door of the canteen. "And he is right behind you."
My best friends turn around automatically. Heads snapping back to me in seconds.
"Delicious, right?" I smile to myself.
"Sammy." Cynthia calls in a small voice, Tommy shaking his head like a old tortoise.
Okay. For Sammy it's understandable. But Tommy too. The fuck.
"Why him?" She starts off. "Why is it the ice prince?"
Ice prince? What the fuck.
"This just shows how helpless you are when it comes to your love life." Tommy adds sadly. "Just take it that you are meant to spend your entire life alone. All alone."
"Why? Is there something wrong with him? Does he have STD? Is he gay?"
I pray its the second. Then I still have a chance.
"No." Tommy breaths out.
Then it's all good.
"It's worst."
I stare at the both of them. "You know you are scaring the shit out of me right?"
"Let me tell you the story behind the ice prince." Cynthia says, her face morphing into a distant look. "Once upon a time in favered high school, there was a prince. A very handsome prince. All the girls flock by his side, even the gay guys couldn't resist his charm. But then they didn't know who exactly he is. The ice prince. Breaking anyone's and everyone's heart who gets at much as ten feets close to him, turning them to ice. Emotionless. Even the fairies themselves admit that his heart is just like his name. FROZEN, ICE. Since then everyone stayed away. And he keeps himself in isolation."
"All in summery he is not a social person. And doesn't wants friend." Tommy states.
I can tell.
"So he has no friends? At all?" Well then I can be his first friend.
"I think he does. Just one actually. I think his name is Derek." My female bestie reply.
Then there is nothing wrong in been his second friend.
"Ice prince. I will take it as a challenge."
"We wont be able to talk you out of it, will we." The male grunts.
"Nope." I glance at the door, just in time to see his Sekzy ass walk out with his tray of food. "No one will."
"Then we are right behind you." Tommy encourages.
"I can't believe she is going to get her heart broken the moment she decides to accept someone into that stone heart." Cynthia sobs.
"Shut your mouth or my heart breaking will be the last thing on your mind." I munch on my chips, making sure the crunching sound is loud enough for her to hear.
Ice prince...ice prince....too bad you caught my eyes.
