Marcos Barbero is known as the game master for the popular television game show, Travel Time. Like all the successful game masters in the early 1960s, he is a charming and dashing young man with natural charisma.

As the name implies, Travel Time includes traveling outside of Burbank for its special edition episodes. At one point, Marcos finds himself in San Diego to partake in the celebration of the grand opening of Pelagica, a sea life theme park.

Unlike the majority of those who visit the Finest City of America, Marcos is not too fond of spending his time in a coastal city, stemming from his fear to confront his true self: That he is in fact a merman and one instance of his secret's disclosure can ruin his entire career and life.
