Third Person POV:

Present Time:

"Taehyung? Can you give me your phone number? Like we can keep in touch if you want? You don't have to but it would be really cool--"

"Jimin chill out. I'll give you." Taehyung spoke with a slight chuckle as he handed his phone to the other male.

They were currently standing in front of Taehyung's new apartment. Apparently, Gangnam was a dangerous place to roam around at night that is why Jimin had offered to walk him home despite him telling Jimin that he was completely fine on his own.

"Thanks Taehyung. Everything that happened earlier was...Alright it was my fault but I swear Seokjin pressured me to invite both of you without your knowledge." The slightly shorter male spoke up after he had saved Taehyung's number on his phone.

"It's alright Jimin. It was bound to happen anyways. I knew it the moment I stepped in Seoul." Taehyung responded, a slight smile on his face as he enjoyed the gentle breeze caressing his overgrown locks.
Despite everything, it was a beautiful night.

"You know you can talk to me anytime. Explain yourself and all that. I'm sure we'd work something out to make it all better."

"Thank you so much Jimin...I'd love to do that sometimes."

He couldn't say it went well, quite the opposite actually. Jungkook was most probably mad at him but aside all the bad things happened, he had a good dinner with all of them except Jungkook of course.

.
.
.

"I would look forward to your cooperation." Taehyung politely bowed to the rising star as they were about to start the photoshoot.

It has barely been a month since he had joined the company but that didn't stop Taehyung from getting numerous projects.

Just like this young star, who was looking at Taehyung with a weird intensity in his beautiful orbs.

He was bad at flirting. Taehyung had to admit that yet he continued his little show and Taehyung just had to ignore him to focus on his job.

"Can you please look at the camera for a while?" Taehyung sighed subtly as he addressed the young man.

"I can't help it. Someone's just too distracting."

Taehyung glared at his assistant who was busy muffling his snickers at the other's attempt of flirting with him.

"And that's it." Taehyung announced in a loud voice as he smiled cheerfully, bowing down to his stylists and team, appreciating their hard work.

The shoot was finally done. Praising his team, he proceeded to thank the star who goes by the name of Park Saejung.

"Can I have your number Taehyung-ssi?" Saejung dared, nervousness evident on his face.

"May I ask why?"

"To keep in touch with you, of course." The other male responded confidently, all traces of nervousness gone as he explained in a 'duh' voice.

"Alright." Taehyung halfheartedly agreed. He just wanted to go home now and arguing with this male won't make anything better. He decided to just give up. Moreover there isn't anything wrong with making new friends right?

How wrong he was.

Taehyung groaned as he glanced at the clock resting on his nightstand and then glared at the phone which was currently lighting up his dark room due to its brightness.

It was fucking 3:00 in the morning. Why the hell would Saejung call him at this time?

He ignored it for a few moments but when it continued to ring, he realized it was better to just accept his cruel fate.

"Yes? To what do I owe the pleasure?" Taehyung rolled his eyes even though the other was unable to see him. He didn't even bother to be punctual. Nothing was more important than his beauty sleep.

"Woah! Feisty aren't we? Were you asleep?" A deep voice spoke up from the other line.

"No...I was running alongside the ocean. Wanna join?" At this point Taehyung just wanted to smack his own face.

"Why not?"

"Why did you call?" The photographer sighed as he rolled on his king sized bed, relieving his sore muscles.

"I couldn't sleep."

"..."

"..."

"Are you like—serious right now? You woke me up in the middle of the night just to say you couldn't sleep?"

"I'm pretty sure I did that."

"What am I? Your mother? Should I sing you a lullaby?"

"If you don't mind." Taehyung could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

"I'm so done with my life." Taehyung muttered as he hung up on the aforementioned male, eyes shit close to calm his nerves.

The culprit smiled fondly whilst looking at the blank screen on the other side of the call.

.
.
.
.

Taehyung was currently running to the elevator. He woke up late today and even got stuck in traffic which lead to him panting like a dog while running to catch the elevator.

Taehyung panicked as he saw the elevator door closing and he sprinted even faster, if it was even possible.

Fortunately, he reached his hand out and stopped the metal door before it could close.

Eyes widening, his breath got caught in his throat as he stared at Jungkook and Saejung standing on the opposite sides of the elevator.

"You coming in, Taehyung?" Saejung spoke up and Taehyung raised his brows at the drop in honorifics. Nonetheless, he walked into the elevator with heavy steps.

This was going to be hella uncomfortable.

Taehyung didn't know if he felt sad or relieved that Jungkook didn't even glance at him during the ride, on the other hand,  Saejung enjoyed every single second of the ride.

Taehyung tried to break the silence.

"Mr. Jeon--"

"Don't talk to me." He answered unfazed and Taehyung unconsciously pouted at his rude answer.

"What the fuck dude? He was just trying to talk to you--" Saejung intervened when he saw Taehyung's deflated persona.

"And who are you?" Jungkook raised a brow and questioned, not even bothering to be polite.

"Oh boy! You don't know me?" Saejung exclaimed dramatically, eyes comically wide and Taehyung wanted to bang his head on the nearest thing.

"I'm Park Saejung." He introduced with a wide smile and Taehyung genuinely let out a laugh at his enthusiasm causing Jungkook to cross-look at him which went unnoticed by Taehyung who was standing in the middle, facing Saejung.

"...Is that supposed to make me remember something?"

"Do you live under a rock? I'm really curious right now."

"And why do I have to know you? Are you the president or somethin'?"

"I--Look bro, You are like really rude. Has anyone told you that?" Saejung asked looking at him from head to toe, not even bothering to hide the fact that he was judging him.

Jungkook opened his mouth and was about to spat something back but the elevator ding made him stop.

Saejung was the first to get off, Jungkook followed soon after, arms crossed in front of him, the confident stride demanding respect.

Taehyung stood there motionless until Saejung decided to call him. Hearing his voice Taehyung came to the real world and exited the elevator.

"Would you like to join me for lunch today?" He asked, voice tooth-rotting sweet.

Taehyung took a while to process the the words directed to him but agreed anyways not aware of Jungkook who walked away with clenched fists.

.
.
.

"I'm so glad you agreed to come with me." Saejung smiled as he glanced up at Taehyung who was busy drinking his strawberry milkshake whilst admiring his hotcake.

"Me too. The milkshake is so delicious." Taehyung responded as he glanced back at the other male.

"Wow! You—I just lost to a milkshake?"

"Maybe. Maybe not~."Taehyung sing-songed as he smiled at Saejung who just shook his head, mirroring Taehyung's smile whilst muttering something among 'You're lucky I like you'.

Taehyung may or may not have heard that but just decided to not question it, he didn't want to create any complications.

"I think we should get to know each other." The young adult suggested after a comfortable silence settled between them.

"Well? What do you want to know?" Taehyung inquired as he put his cup down and looked at him.

"How old are you?"

"I'm 23."

"No way!" Saejung shook his head, not believing what the other said. According to him, Taehyung must've been his age that's why he spoke so casually to him but now that he found out his real age, he couldn't believe it.

"Why? Am I old?" Taehyung took a sip from the milkshake.

"No...it's not that. I thought we were the same age." He muttered in a small voice. The age gap was a shock to him.

"Oh really? How old are you?" Taehyung asked as he proceeded to cut the hot cake.

"I'm eighteen." A sigh followed as he finally revealed his age. Hearing him,  Taehyung widened his eyes and looked at him a teasing grin. He was definitely going to use the age card against him.

"I'm your Hyung then!" The photographer still wore that silly smirk causing Saejung to groan and run a hand through his hair messily.

"Yeah. Yeah. Whatever." The younger male rolled his eyes at his Hyung's statement.

"Careful kid. I'm older." Taehyung raised a brow, an amused expression plastered on his features.

"Seriously? Kid? You are unbelievable."

"I'm right tho-" Taehyung felt such joy in teasing the younger that he couldn't stop himself.

"Oh? Taehyung?" A high-pitched voice spoke up causing Taehyung to look behind.

Upon seeing who the voice belonged to, Taehyung's smile grew bigger and he invited the said male to their table.

"Sit with us, Jimin!"

Jimin nodded and sat with the two of them. He greeted Saejung who welcomed Jimin warmly. They both were social butterflies so they clicked pretty well.

The trio sat there for about an hour, talking about the silliest facts and laughing at the lamest jokes.

For once in forever, Taehyung felt like he was normal. Like he was another  person who had a normal and comfortable life, although reality was far from that but still. He was glad to have a moment of peace in his usually-hectic life.

"I have a competition in a few days." Saejung stated, successfully grabbing the attention of the other two present at the table.

"If you both don't mind. I'll like you to come and cheer for me." He carefully spoke up, Taehyung awed at his nervous eyes glancing here and there as he spoke up.

"Why not? I'm really free the next week." Jimin agreed not even thinking for a second.

Now two pair of eyes stared expectantly at Taehyung who was contemplating silently whether it was a good idea to go or not. He was about to agree until he remembered-

"Aren't you an actor? What kind of competition are you talking about?"

Saejung stared at him in disbelief.

"You really don't know?" Jimin joined forces with the youngest and now two pair of eyes looked at him in disbelief and utter shock.

"I- What?!"

"He's a figure skater."

"..."

"..."

"No way in hell. You are a figure skater?" Taehyung questioned the youngest of them.

"You really didn't know." Saejung crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned back. He had recovered the initial shock and now was genuinely curious.

"Actually, I'm pretty new to Seoul so I didn't know that." Taehyung doesn't know why but he felt the need to explain himself to the other.

"Ever heard of TV?" Jimin intervened and he too, had crossed his arms mirroring Saejung and Taehyung felt like a criminal under their sharp gazes.

"I don't watch it." Taehyung shrugged.

"Back to the point now. I'll give you VIP tickets. Will you come?" The figure skater sat up straight and offered.

"I...um...When is the competition?" He decided to settle on the said question after hesitating for quite a bit.

"Next Sunday. Are you free?"

"I'll have to check with my assistant and tell you then." The photographer said to which Saejung nodded.

"It's decided then." Jimin gave his infamous eye smile to the skater.

"I have three VIP tickets so you can invite someone."

"I have someone." Jimin spoke up, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he looked at Taehyung. The said male oblivious to Jimin's evil intentions.

.
.
.

"Jimin? What are we doing in a skating rink?" Jungkook sighed as he looked at the over-excited male who kept looking for someone in the massive crowd.

"Obviously not here to dance now, are we?" The shorter male retorted not even glancing at him while answering.

Jimin smiled widely when he finally spotted that familiar black-head and started waving his hand in the air to get his attention.

"We're here, Taehyung!" Jimin shouted and Jungkook saw the said male making his way through the numerous bodies.

Jungkook was honestly so done at this point. Jimin should never be trusted no matter how appealing his puppy eyes are. His manager was a devil in disguise. A devil who was consistent on setting Jungkook up with Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled at Jungkook as he came near them and Jungkook just turned his head the opposite way. Taehyung's smile faltered at that but continued his little walk.

The reason Taehyung wasn't surprised at seeing Jungkook was because Jimin had informed him a few days ago. He was nervous as hell and even decided to just stay at home but Jimin was ready to kill him whenever he even brought up the thought during their occasional voice calls and quick meet-ups.

That is how he came, all prepared and adamant on changing Jungkook's mind after today's competition.

He didn't know where the sudden urge to explain everything to him came from but he just can't stand the scowls and insults Jungkook passes him anymore.

He might or might not have memorized a whole ass speech and even practised it a dozen of times before coming here.

"Hey Jimin!"

Taehyung just hoped at the end of the day, Jungkook wouldn't hate his guts.

What do you think about the story till now?
