Third Person's POV:

"Mr.Kim, it will take only a few minutes." His assistant convinced for the nth time and Taehyung kind of felt bad for him since he was only doing his job and Taehyung was making it harder than it already was, yet he couldn't help it, he, himself had a valid point.

"Have you seen this building? I am really tired now. Can't we do it some other time?" Was all he said before leaning back in the comfortable leather chair, his back pressed into the chair.

"I'm really sorry Sir, but the CEO wants to meet you in person." The exhaustion dripping his voice was what caught his attention, the other male must have been tired too, following him around all day.

Taehyung sighed for the nth time and stared at his assistant. They were both sitting in their new office at a new company.

Taehyung had applied for an entertainment company before moving here and after he got scouted, he finally could move here, since he needed money to make a living here.

The entertainment company they had applied to was well-known across the country. Since he was a hardworking and quite a popular photographer, the company wasted no time in taking him in.

Right now, his assistant was convincing him for a tour of the company as requested by the CEO but Taehyung was in no mood. He took a ten hour flight to Korea and then travelled to Daegu without a break. He's at fault here for not taking a short nap in between but the lack of sleep was really messing with his mind, he couldn't think straight.

Now you might argue how he shouldn't have come here the very first day but he wasn't here for actual work today, he had the guts to request for a tour from company and seeing nothing wrong with it, the company had agreed.

His plan was to observe the working atmosphere and to check whether it was to his liking or not, a good atmosphere was extremely important to him hence explains the efforts of doing so.

"Alright! Let's go." He forced his almost limp body out of the ever so comfy chair and marched to the door to have a tour of the company he might be working in, since he could still reject this one and look for another, although that might be a lot of work all over again.

....

"May I come in Sir?" Taehyung spoke up in his 'business' tone, voice lacking its natural warmth and comfort, not that Taehyung was the sweetest person alive but his natural tone was a bit more inviting than this one.

Soon after he got the permission to enter the office, a low gasp making its way out of his mouth at the fancy interior. The CEO of the company sat at a polished desk, glasses resting loosely on the bridge of his nose as the man looked intently through the pages.

"Sit down, Please." The old man looked up from the pile of documents and gestured Taehyung to sit in front of him and Taehyung gladly obliged, with a strained smile but the older was too distracted to take notice of that.

It must have been a total of ten minutes during which both the males exchanged pleasantries and some polite smiles were passed here and there.

Taehyung was currently waiting for a certain someone who was supposed to help him give the tour as explained by the CEO before him.

A couple of minutes of just awkwardly sitting there and feeling out of place, a knock was heard followed by a deep, husky voice speaking up.

"May I come in, sir?"

"Yes, please."

Taehyung's eyes flickered to the door that was being opened. His focus solemnly on the shiny knob that was being fiddled with.

Just as the door opened, his face morphed into one of horror, eyes almost bulging out of its sockets at the sight. He couldn't help but break out into cold sweat, the room suddenly felt unbearably hot despite the air conditioner working just well.

The cause of his sudden change in attitude was evident to the intruder as well. He could see how the person that just came in, surprised just as much as he was.

This couldn't be possible.

"Yoongi? Can you give Taehyung-ssi a tour of our company?"

Hearing the name just confirmed Taehyung's doubts. It really was him. It really was Yoongi. Fate really hated him.

Yoongi had changed a lot during all those years. He seemed like a completely different person now. No longer the messy locks, ripped jeans and oversized T-shirts.

His hair was styled neatly making him a lot of mature, the tight suit fit his body perfectly, he seemed elegant.

Yoongi had turned his head towards the other in a flash. So hard, Taehyung was worried if it would hurt later.

But well, his reaction was pretty normal.

Widened eyes, mouth a gaped and disbelief written all over his face. Taehyung was no different. Who wouldn't be surprised ? Seeing your friend after 5 damn years. The same friend who disappeared into thin air.
Even without a goodbye. Pretty astonishing right?

"Y-yes...Sir!" Yoongi stuttered out after a while , gaining his composure back. Recovering from the initial shock although still unable to believe what he was seeing right now ,or rather who he was seeing right now.

Just like that, Yoongi left the office with quick steps. Seeing him run out of the office, Taehyung too, stood up and followed him after bowing down multiple times to the CEO, who just waved at him with a polite smile.

Once they had covered a safe distance, Yoongi halted and turned around facing Taehyung who was in the middle of processing the whole situation.

"Why did you come back?"

There was no emotion laced in his voice neither did he wear a expression which would give Taehyung a hint about what was going on inside his head.

Yoongi had always been like that. Excellent at hiding his emotions and feelings. It was a pretty difficult thing to do especially in front of your friends whom you trust with all your heart.

Taehyung had never seen him lose his calm demeanor.

The slightly taller male chose to remain silent and just continued to stare at him.

"I asked you something." A sigh followed his statement, slight hint of irritation dripping his words.

"Just...because." Taehyung spoke out after a while. It was the most reasonable answer. Why did he come back? Even he doesn't know.

It was silent for a while, for a long while actually. They just stared at each other, neither knowing how to deal with the current situation in hand.

"You know what. Let's just pretend we don't know each other. Just like you did 5 years ago." Yoongi sighed and barked out at last. His words and demeanor polar opposites. A poker face and chill voice didn't match at all with what he was spitting out.

Ouch! That hurt.

"Yoongi, listen to me. I can explain--"

"Explain what? You better save it for later cause I'm not the only one you'll be encountering."

With these words being said Yoongi left. Leaving back a slight hint of the cologne he wore.

He left.

Taehyung stared bewildered at his retreating figure. He was supposed to give him a tour. All feelings aside , shouldn't he at least have been professional-?

Taehyung mentally scolded himself. He was in no place to complain.

Now that Yoongi was gone, he decided to just go through the day by himself.

It shouldn't be such a problem. He knew how to speak and he could just ask his way around.

"Excuse me?"

"How can I help you, Sir?" The lady at the counter spoke kindly.

"Is this the modelling department?" Taehyung carefully asked as he looked around, various posters littering the hallways, he could even spot some of the models hence satisfies his confusion.

"Yes. Are you new here sir?" The lady inquired, a professional smile etched onto here face.

"Yeah." Breathed out the male.

"I can give you a tour of our department."She suggested politely.

"I would be really grateful."

And just like that he was able to check the company by himself. The pretty counter lady helping him do so. Taehyung was a curious person in general, he asked dozen things and was more than grateful that they were answered without malice.

He went to dozens of departments and met some really different people, shoving his little encounter with Yoongi earlier aside, he handled it pretty well, making mental notes here and there.

The company was pretty organised, he observed. The workplace was rather friendly and overall happy.

After almost half an hour of wandering around, he finally reached the sports department. The trophies and cups placed at almost every step were mesmerizing. Seeing all of this, he couldn't help but think back to a certain someone.

I wonder how he's doing.

After the short lived thought that he brushed off quickly, Taehyung decided to wander around the block. He knocked on some of the doors and met some really kind people. They even offered him a tour but he denied politely.

Currently he was standing in front of a really flashy door, the initials J.J carved on it.

He decided to knock on this as well.

"Come in." A voice spoke from the other side.

Taehyung furrowed his brows listening to the voice, it felt weirdly familiar. As if he had heard this voice in some really important moments of his life. He entered the room anyways.

It was different from all the other rooms. Not too flashy yet seemed aesthetic. The whole room was just different colors of grey and black.

A person seemed to be talking on the phone , his back facing Taehyung. The large rotating chair hiding most of the person's torso.

"Alright Yoongi!" The man spoke up at last with a sigh and hung up.

In a moment, he turned around and Taehyung felt like his organs were trying to come out of him. Nostalgia hitting him with such a force that he had to hold onto the nearest support, that happened to be a chair to prevent himself from falling.

Too engrossed in his own turmoil of emotions he didn't hear what the other said.

Is this really Jungkook?

Jungkook sighed and stood up from the seat, staring at Taehyung dead in the eye, the other could feel his chest tighten.

"How can I help you?" He stated plainly. Tone? Indifferent. Face? Poker.

"J-jungkook?" Taehyung spoke in a small voice, tears already started to form in his eyes, all those years filling his head, memories flashing one after another.

"Mr. Jeon." Jungkook replied indifferently tapping his foot impatiently, hands crossed in front of his chest.

Even in this situation, Taehyung could notice the tattoos littering his right arm, starting from the wrist and reaching all the way to his forearm before it disappeared under the sleeve of the shirt he was currently wearing.

"W-What?"

"Call me Mr.Jeon." Jungkook said, his voice an octave lower, it sent chills down Taehyung's spine and Taehyung couldn't do anything except standing there and gaping like a fish at the completely different person he once knew.

I'll take my leave now. Tell me what you think?
