Third Person POV:

"What did the doctor talk to you about?" Yoongi asked Jimin quietly the moment he entered the VIP ward with slouched shoulders and puckered lips, thinking deeply about everything that he got to know earlier.

"O- Oh nothing! Just something about reports and medications...yeah." The male in question answered nervously. Although the news might spread later on, he didn't want to disclose it just there hence he lied to Yoongi who was oblivious to the turmoil inside his head.

He looked around and saw the rest of the group. All of them zoned out. Jungkook still hadn't woken up, laying in the bad with eyes shut close, breathing softly.

He looked peaceful. If one ignored the bandages his head and legs were wrapped up in, the scene would almost pass as satisfying to watch.

According to his nurse, the sedatives he was given before the doctors proceeded with the surgery were strong and it would take a while for him to wake up.

Namjoon sat in the far left corner with Seokjin resting on his broad shoulders, a comfortable silence settled between them. Both of them staring at nothingness.

Saejung and Taehyung were chatting mindlessly among themselves with Hoseok trying to eavesdrop on the duo with a permanent frown in his face, made Jimin smile a genuine smile.

And so passes hour after hour. Minute after minute yet there was no sign of Jungkook moving. They took turns being with Jungkook, none wanted him to be alone.

Fortunately, the food served in the hospital canteen was delicious so they didn't have to order or go somewhere else to feed their growling stomachs.

It had been nearly four hours and Jungkook still hadn't woken up from his sleep, mist of them were dozing off by now, their bodies too tired to keep up.

"He woke up!"

Seokjin shouted and grabbed the attention of the nearly-asleep-boys. Flinching and wincing at his extra loud voice, they soon grasped the situation in hand and walked slowly towards the bed.

Everyone except Taehyung and Saejung who stood in their places, but the others were too distracted to even take notice of their actions.

Taehyung was trying not to alarm the athlete by his presence so he decided to stay back, on the other hand Saejung had quite a rough relation with the other so he too, decided to stand in the far corner watching everyone with hawk eyes.

Slowly and gradually, Jungkook fluttered his doe eyes open. Occasionally shutting them back to get used to the bright light.

The others just watched him, no one saying a single word. Just staring at him.

"W-Where am I?" The man lying on the white hospital sheets spoke up in a groggy voice and everyone released a breath of relief after hearing his voice.

He really is okay. That was what went through everyone's mind right now and they couldn't help but thank the heavens for not letting something bad happen to him.

"Do you remember anything about your accident Jungkook?" Seokjin continued speaking in a soft voice, testing the waters. Jungkook had hit his head in the accident, and so were the chances of him losing his memory —temporarily or even permanently— high.

"Shouldn't we call a doctor?" Hoseok suggested and everyone looked at him for a good minute before Taehyung agreed to go and fetch the doctor. He wanted to be useful in some kind of way.

"Y-yeah I remember-" Jungkook tried to shift in his bed but halted when he heard a familiar voice. Taehyung's.

"What is Taehyung doing here?" There was no venom to his voice unlike the other times. It was just his curiosity speaking. A genuine exclamation.

Taehyung just passed him a smile and went away to bring the doctor, not even waiting for a response.

"He accompanied me and Saejung here." Jimin informed the raven-head, gesturing to Saejung who was quietly listening to them earlier. Now that he had been dragged to the conversation, he responded with a smile and a small wave.

Jungkook was irritated and annoyed when he heard a certain someone had come too but just remained silent. He was in no place to complain right now.

"How did the accident happen?" Namjoon spoke up for the first time in a while and everyone looked at the laying male expectantly, wanting to here an explanation of some sort.

"Well...I was crossing the road and didn't see a car coming and it just...  kind of happened." Jungkook recalled, bits and pieces of the most recent memory he had before his world had turned black.

"Mr.Jeon you woke up?" The doctor came in, a small smile playing on his lips. That caused his friends to move back a bit and leave the way for the doctor.

Jungkook also saw Taehyung coming behind him, avoiding eye contact. The male had a white bandage wrapped around his ankle and elbow. Jungkook felt a wave of guilt hit him and he regretted it all over again.

"Let me just do a quick checkup!"

The young doc checked his vitals and observed his heart rate, glancing at the small screen attached to his bed every now and then.

"You are doing pretty well for now. The vitals are stable too. You can leave the hospital in a week or two if your body heals faster." With that he whispered something to Jimin and the latter shook his head.

The rest of then saw the exchange but shrugged it off.

The rest of the day went pretty well. Jungkook threw a tantrum about not wanting to eat the hospital food but shut up when Seokjin's face turned beet red from anger.

Taehyung left an hour or two with Saejung because he had basically nothing to do the whole time. Jungkook was in a good condition and the fact itself was enough for the black-haired male.

Taehyung had offered to stay but the others sternly said that he too, needed rest and practically shoo-ed him off.

With nothing to say, he just muttered a 'get well soon' to Jungkook who nodded, acknowledging his intentions.

After that, he had left.

.
.

Two weeks went by so quick, it was the day Jungkook had to be discharged.

In the previous two weeks, Seokjin frequently visited the hospital. Jimin didn't want to bother coming and going so he just stayed at the hospital. For two whole weeks.

He slept on one of the couches, despite the constant nagging he had to hear to go home and sleep in his own bed.

Yoongi also visited once in a while with Hoseok, to cheer him up. They were quite busy with their schedules so Jungkook was quite moved that his friends took the time out to visit him.

Taehyung, however, didn't even visit once despite wanting to do so, badly. He had spent countless nights, contemplating whether or not he shall visit the hospital.

But at the end of every debate with himself, he would decide not to. Jungkook had expressed his bitterness for him on multiple occasions and the black-haired male was quite sure that Jungkook might not want him around.
It was his recovery period and Taehyung didn't want to ruin the process by his uninvited presence.

Jungkook may or may not have been disappointed just a bit, a tiny winy bit at that.

Today, was a special day though. It was the day Jungkook would be discharged so Taehyung had made up his mind to go and visit the raven-head whether the latter liked it or not.

"Taehyung? Can you take that bag to the car?" Namjoon requested shoving a dark leather bag in his hands.

Taehyung nodded and left for the car. Jimin and Seokjin had already taken everything to the car. Taehyung handed them the bag and ran back to the hospital room.

There sat Jungkook on a wheelchair, the doctor had advised not to walk or run for a while so here he was.

"Try not to kill me," Jungkook huffed as Yoongi nearly bumped the wheelchair into the near dispenser.

Taehyung snorted at Yoongi's offended face.

"Let me do it." Taehyung offered as he walked towards them and Yoongi let go of the wheelchair reluctantly but Taehyung spotted the 'Finally' written on his face.

Somehow, they made Jungkook sit in the backseat with Yoongi. The folded wheel chair between them. Seokjin sat in the front seat with Hoseok next to him.

Taehyung and Namjoon were shoved all the way back to the last seat where they sat like dead logs, not uttering a single word.

After a calm ride, they were finally at Jungkook's apartment. Standing  in front of the apartment building as they tried to get the bags down.

If the car ride was calm, the time after that was the complete opposite.

"Take out the last bag."

"I'm literally holding five bags. Do I look like an excavator to you?"

"Taehyung? Can you help Jungkook out of the car? We are all packed." Seokjin requested, lifting his packed hands up to prove his statement.

Taehyung nodded, glancing back at the car where Jungkook was sitting with his arms crossed in front of his chest, staring ahead with a blank face.
The black head gulped unconsciously, before turning to Seokjin to seek some sort of help, only to find him gone.

A sigh escaped his lips as he marched towards the car, taking out the wheelchair from the back and placing it on the brick floor.

He then, cautiously, moved to the front where Jungkook was waiting for him.

To say it was awkward would be an understatement. Taehyung had no idea how to help him out.

He stood there for a good minute, planning a strategy inside his head and was just leaning down to reach out for his shoulders in order to help him up when he heard Jungkook speak up.

"I'm sorry."

Wait, what!?

Taehyung stood completely frozen, not daring to voice out his surprise, Jungkook sighed at his state before elaborating.

"I'm sorry I... hit you...That day, I just got so mad. I didn't mean to... I'm really sorry."

Taehyung broke out of his trance, double checking to see if Jungkook was not joking about the whole thing but once he found Jungkook's stoic expression, he came in terms with the fact that Jungkook had indeed apologized.

"No...it's fine. I'm...uh...great." He chuckled nervously, rubbing his neck in embarrassment. The lad could already feel the blood rushing to his face.

"So...are we cool?" Jungkook asked, looking forward and not at Taehyung who was standing tall beside him.

"I mean...of course." Taehyung smiled to himself, feeling a little happier now that Jungkook was actually talking to him and not mocking his every word.

"Are you going to help me get out now?" Jungkook teased, amusement dripping his tone. Even he doesn't know what came over him and how he went from being furious at Taehyung to actually joking with him, but he won't lie. It felt good.

Taehyung bent down once again, wrapping one of his arm around Jungkook's shoulder, carefully helping him step out of the car.

The raven head intently gazed at Taehyung's side profile, his perfectly slanted nose and those puckered lips. Jungkook ever so badly wanted to reach out and smoothen the crease in between his eyes but decided against it, instead focusing on getting out.

After all the events, they were finally able to enter Jungkook's apartment. The said male still on the wheelchair. Luckily, he lived on the ground floor so it wouldn't be much of a hassle.

"I will be going now. Call me if you need anything." Namjoon announced after all of them had settled everything down and calmed down.

"Me too! I have to go to the studio." Yoongi stood up from the couch, stretching to relieve the soreness of his body.

"It's okay Jungkook. We are always here for you. Just take care of yourselves for us, hmm?" Jungkook almost cried at the familiarity of the hug he received from Yoongi, a tap on his head and the considerate male was out of the room to take his leave.

He had such good people around him.
