Writer: we skip to Monday.

I was walking down the halls when we passed a purple haired boy, for some reason he looked familiar, "hey Yumi doesn't that boy look familiar?" She turned her head in the boys direction, Yumi stopped walking, "(y/n)," her face seemed happy. I turned around with her, "what is it now," she pointed at the purples haired boy, "(y/n) that looks just like shinso," Shinso was a some what friend of ours back at middle school, before I could say some thing Yumi took my hand and ran up to the boy, "Shinso!" We didn't even know if it was Shinso. The boy turned around, yeah that was Shinso. He saw me and he smiled, he never really smiled. "(Y/n) Yumi?" Yumi looked really excited, "Shinso I'm so happy you got in U.A, but I didn't see you in any of the hero courses," he looked down, "yeah I just got in general studies," I decided to join the conversation, "sorry that you didn't get in hero studies, but what about we spar some time like in middle school?" He looked at his phone, "sure what about tommorow after school?" I nodded then I noticed we were gonna be late if we didn't leave now, "Yumi we got to go, bye Shinso." He waved back as he turned and left.

During lunch

I sat with Sho, Yumi, Midoriya, Tsu, and Uraraka. " so Ai wanna go to that boba shop after school tomorrow?" Shit I didn't know what to do I liked winning spars against Shinso but I loved going on dates with Sho, Yumi spoke up for me, "Todoroki (y/n) has plans tomorrow," he looked sad, "oh ok um what about wensday?" I nodded, "sure sounds good." We ate for awhile before Sho spoke, "um what were your plans tommorow," I looked up from my tray, "oh I was going to spar with a childhood friend," he looked kinda mad, "oh ok who is it," he was obvious jealous, "oh his name is Shinso, from general studies," he looked even angrier, "why spar with a general studies?" Yeah he jelly, "because he's a childhood friend," Sho finished his food silently while I talked to every one else.

Tommorow after school

I waited outside after school foe Shinso to arrive. When he arrived we started walking to Yumi's house, "don't you teleport any more," I looked at him, "fine," I took his hand and teleported to Yumi's house, he looked at the house, " (nickname) did you move or something?" I opened the door, "no well my dad was arrested for child abuse, and well my mom couldn't pay so we are just in Yumi's house until she could afford a house." We walked to Yumi's room, I moved some things to make space, "so first one who falls down loses ok," he nodded his head, "ok start," I noticed his scarf it looked just like Aiziwa's scarf, "so how is your day?" I didn't answer I knew his quirk. He went to grab me with the scarf, I teleported behind him, I kicked him just Ashe was turning around he went for some thing to grab on to, he accidentally pulled on my shirt bringing me down with him, his face looked bright red, he whispered some thing but I couldn't hear it. I got up and went for my jacket, "let's go I'm thirsty," he got up and put on a hoodie and put up the hood. I took his hand and teleported to a shop. We went towards the drink section, I picked up some cream soda, and Shinso picked some chips, we went to go pay at the casheir I noticed Sho walking into the store as we just had payed for the soda and chips, " Hey Sho!" I ran up to him with Shinso following, "hey Ai, did you win the spar match?" Shinso looked at Sho, Sho looked back at him, "so this is your childhood friend," Shinso looked at me, "who is this?" I kissed Sho on the cheek," This is Sho, Sho this is Shinso, my childhood friend," Shinso looked sad, "is he your boyfriend?" I looked at Sho, "no.. Not yet," Shinso looked slightly happy with my response, "let's get going I want another match," I kissed Sho goodbye and teleported us back to Yumi's room.

Shinso's pov: when I fell I grabbed (y/n)'s shirt and brought her down with me, I whispered, "you're too cute," she didn't hear it though. I put on my hoodie, and put up the hood, to hide my red face, she teleported us to a shop, when we bought soda and chips she ran up to a boy with red and white hair. He was talking to her, "So Ai did you win the spar match?" I looked at the two colored hair boy, he looked back, "So this is your childhood friend?" I looked at (y/n), "who is this," she kissed him on the cheek, I knew then I had no chance with her," This is Sho, Sho this is Shinso, my childhood friend." I felt sadness, "is he your boyfriend?" She looked at him, "no... Not yet," I was slightly happy knowing that she wasn't dating someone else, "Let's get going I want another match, she ran up to me, she took my hand and teleported us back to Yumi's room. "So (nickname) do you like him, she looked at me, "no," I felt relived, "I love him," I was sad but countined the conversation, "does he love you?" She looked at me, "I don't really know, but he always tells me that he loves me," she seemed to hesitate with her answer, "so do you wanna go to the park Thursday?" She looked at her phone, "sure." I was nervous because I had caught feelings for her in the last year of middle school, but I was to nervous to confess, I thought that during the spar match I could ask her out, and it worked.
