Alarm bells

"For God sake Lydii turn your alarm off and let me sleep. Don't ruin my Sunday." Freya irritably says and throws a pillow on my face.

"Hmm. just gonna..." I begin with a drowsy voice. Wait what? Why did I set an alarm on Sunday? Let me guess what I am forgetting.

LOOK TEST!!!

God-damn it!! Today's my look test and I have to be there before 10.30. God...this is what that alarm for. I try to get up from the bed in a rush which makes me fall on the ground from the bed.

"Ouch!!"

"Stop making noise you snoozy turtle"Freya shouts.

"Never mind " I eye roll.

I take a shower and leave immediately. The whole ride to polar star office I pray for not being late.

As soon as I reach to the lift and press the button to the fifth floor someone rushes towards the lift and enters inside before the elevator shuts it's door. Oh! It's Simon.

"Sup, lil barbie?" Simon says.

"Cool but what was that?" I ask him curiously as he addresses me as barbie. Such a cute gesture.

"What? You don't like your nickname?" He playfully replies.

"I do. That's cute."

"You are Cuter" He says and I beam.

...

'I never knew that one has to act on small clips in front of camera in look test. Isn't it stressful AF? Specially when the opposite one is the insolent grumpy boy. And what is this test photo-shoot about?' My mind is pondering with all these thoughts ever since I heard about the concept of look test. And being near Ian makes me paranoid and gives me butterflies in my stomach at the same time.

Scenes with Simon was not that tough as he is being very supportive. Everyone appreciates my first attempt as newcomer.

"Good job, lil barbie." Simon says.

Being delighted with the situation I hug my newly found friend, and he hugs me back.

Literally everyone in the room praises me or says good things to me except one. The person with ocean blue eye who is standing in the corner doing his new favorite thing. Eyeing Me what else!!

I always wanted his eyes on me but the way he looks at me makes me feel terrible. Why is there anger every time? Does he hate me?

Scenes with Ian was as horrific as I thought. He is an amazing actor. Everything about him is perfect. His voice, way of delivering dialogues, his expression where my voice is shaky, expression is confused and eyes can't meet his. I try my level best to match up with his level but fail miserably I guess and Ian seems happy to see my misery. He has a slight smile on his face. But nobody complains about my terrible presentation including him.

LYDIA & IAN's costume

I wear a yellow sleeveless crop top and black shorts which represents my body beautifully. My hair is done with soft beach waves and my makeup is on point for the test photo shoot. But my expression is still dreary for my previous catastrophe which is noticed by Simon. He comes to me.

"You look stunning,lil barbie. Don't worry you're gonna kill it." He says and gives me a friendly hug but immediately breaks the hug as Ian already reaches the shoot spot.

Ian looks as hot as always with a maroon plain T-shirt and black ripped jeans. His white skin is gleaming underneath his T-shirt. I again start feeling nervous around him. My cheeks flush and literally become red when he holds my waist and pulls me close to him for posing for camera. I start feeling lost in him slowly but come back to the reality when I feel some sort of pain in my waist. I notice that it's Ian who holds me so tight almost digging his fingers into my skin that it's aching. Seems like he is some kind of mad at me and tries to take revenge on me silently. I want to tell him to stop but I really don't want him to move his hands from me. But pain becomes excessive and I feel like there would be red marks on my bare skin. So I jerk his hand away out of pain.

"Get off of me." I yell unwillingly.

Everyone as well as he gets astounded by my reaction.
