Lydia's POV :

After reaching USA, My life is going quite good. I've started studying from fall intake in Cal State LA, have found a job for myself too and have found some crazy friends. Freya and Justin both are more like my family in the USA.

FREYA WILLIAMSON is the coolest gal in the town. She is my dorm mate as she also goes to the same college. She is not only beautiful but also has talent in every possible sector. I don't know how this coolest girl becomes friends with a stupid like me and how she calls me her sister from another mother but whatever it is I am extremely happy to have her.

And JUSTIN BYERS and I work in the same ice cream parlor. But he isn't as sweet as ice cream. Such a crackhead who's only motto in life is to annoy me and call me DRAMA QUEEN whenever he gets chance but I don't hate him for that. I actually quite enjoy the name.

Oh, Merry Christmas to all.
Correction: SCARY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

Yes, winter arrives in California. Everyone is excited for the Christmas eve. This is the time of the year I get really excited and always have a good time with my family. But This year I can't visit them no matter how much I miss them but it's okay I have my two besties with me to celebrate. And we are so hopeless that we don't have any plans for the eve. So we decide to chill, watch THE CHRISTMAS PRINCE, have hot wings and fries and mostly get drunk.

Then there comes the fun part where we play truth and dare.

"Let's make it more fun, how about SPIN THE BOTTLE to choose who's turn." Freya suggests.

Justin and I both like the idea. So we both agree.

"So for this we need a bottle, and we're going to spin it until..." Freya starts explaining and cuts off by Justin.

"We all know the rules, Frey. Just spin it." He states.

"Fine." She makes a sad puppy face.

She spins the bottle it points towards Justin.

"Truth or dare." I ask.

"Dare any day, ma chérie." He replies.

"Okay, do a worm dance." I challenge him.

He tries to do it but fails miserably which makes us laugh our ass off.

Next, Bottle shows it's me. And I choose to perform dare.

"You have to act... act like you're in love with someone who doesn't love you back. So you have to plead him. And the bonus point is we're gonna film you." Justin chuckles.

"That's bullshit." I complain.

"Accept your defeat if you can't." Freya says.

"No way I am ceding." I snap and start acting like they say while he's filming it.

When I see the footage, I'm sort of impressed by my act, may be the liqueur helps me be a better actress than I thought I am.

After that, we play a couple of rounds more when we answer some truths and so on.

Suddenly I get a notification on my phone. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. My drunk act is on Facebook posted by Justin Byers and I'm tagged. Wait!! My email ID is also there.

"I'm gonna kill you J, what's this? You said you will only record, how can you post it on Facebook?" I grumble.

"He did?" Freya is on amazement.

"Stop laughing." I snarl at her and order Justin to delete it.

"Come on. It's just a video. Plus it's my highest viewed video till date. It already hit thousands of views within an hour." He sounds so proud.

"Yea.. You're looking so cute here. Let it be." Freya says while seeing the video.

I eye roll and don't say anything more because I know he's not gonna take it down. Also, I actually like my skill.

But stupid Lydia never knows that act of her is going to change her life upside down. TRUTH AND DARE was my most favorite game until this evil act of my best friends. This masterpiece video by Justin Byers feat. Lydia Paris goes so viral on Facebook that now people are leaving no chance to email or dm me on my Facebook. UGH!!
Yes, now I officially become a famous sarcasm in the city. Thanks to my best friends for making my merriest Christmas the scariest one. Cue on eye roll.

Weeks Later,

Holiday's over. It's time to go back to work. And also time to search in my trash can (my so-called mailbox) whether there is any Important mails from anyone. I've been looking for an email from any of the corporate house for internship whom I've knocked before Christmas. But what I find instead just gives me a great shock.
A shock I've never thought I am going to get in my life..............

(Authors note : I am going to write the story from Lydia's point of view and will mention other's point of view while needed. Hope you will understand it. Enjoy reading.)
