"Broken heart can be mended, all you have to do is just give it a try." I say walking towards Ian.

He is sitting on the cafeteria, reading a book intensely.

"Cheryl!" He tells me.

"Yeah, It's me."  I respond.

"Who said I am dealing with a heart break?" He says roughly.

"THE WISDOM OF A BROKEN HEART." I show him the book cover he is reading.

"That doesn't mean I have a broken heart." He replies.

"That doesn't mean you have to hide it from me." I tell him.

He looks at me intensely.

"Come on Eric, I'm not as insensitive as I look like. Even I have emotions." I move close to him. "You need to avoid all your past problems and move forward, and you won't feel broken anymore... Let me help you." I smile.

He keeps staring.

"Cut it... Fabulous job, well done both of you." The director yells.

"Thanks." Both Ian and I say in unison.

"Lydia, my dear, you were so good, specially those improvised lines about avoiding and all... Too good." The director praises me.

"I am glad you liked it." I grin.

"Seriously, as a newcomer, you were terrific." He adds.

"Thank you."

I love people praising me but feel shy at the same time. Right now, It feels awesome knowing my nightmare turned out to be wrong, and nobody humiliated me.

As soon as others praising session has over, Ian comes to me.

"You did pretty well job, I didn't expect, you would be so well." He says.

I reply him with a simple "Thanks."

"Is anything wrong?" He asks.

"What's wrong?" I question him back.

"Something.... Anything.... Anything with.... Me or maybe anything else?" He confusingly tells.

Avoiding him is not as easy as I thought it would be. Last three days were still easy, I didn't have to work with him. But today, it's difficult. As much as I want to avoid him, he comes near me more, asks me more questions than he did in last 7 days.

"Why do you think that?" I ask him again.

"That improvised line.... Avoid your problem and forget it... Whatever you were saying didn't sound usual. Why did you say those?" He sighs.

God!! Who told him to be a detective, inquiring about my improvised lines. Clearly, I said those as I was thinking that way the whole week. But, he never needs to know that.

"To earn compliments, see everyone liked those lines. Don't you like them?" I tell him as I didn't find any other excuse.

"Yeah..!!" He replies.

Later in cafeteria, Simon is sipping his coffee. I walk towards him with my mocha in my hand.

"Tiring day?" I ask.

"Hi, Barbie." He looks at me.

"Hey!" I say while sitting opposite of him.

"Yeah, sort of tiring. How's your day?"

"It was cool yet exhausting."

"Thank God, tomorrow is the party. A refreshment after ages. Are you coming?" He questions.

"No, I am planning of staying in." I half smile.

"No way!! How come you are not coming? Listen, you have to come."

"It's ok. I wanna take some rest this weekend. You guys enjoy."

"Your rest can wait, you're coming. Come on Lydia, don't say no. I'll come and get you from your place." He forces.

"Seriously it's okay, Simon."

"It's not okay!! You're coming and that's final." He urges. "Please!!" He says again.

"Fine!!" I eye roll.

"Now, we are gonna have fun." He winks.

.....

I stand in front of my closet, panicking about what to wear for the party. I want a perfect outfit unlike last time when I looked like an idiot with my baggy jeans and T-shirt.

After observing the closet for a while, I decide to wear high waisted black skinny jeans, a silver sequin crop top and my favorite black high heeled boots. I leave my brown hair softly curled. Smokey eyes and nude lipstick finish my look.

As soon as I get ready I get a message from my date.

*Waiting outside, you ready?*

*Coming* I reply.

Simon gets out of his Porsche when he sees me. He looks absolutely gorgeous. We greet each other, exchange a warm hug and then get inside the car.

Once, we reach there, it's more likely a nightclub as I expected but almost everyone I know is here except one face.

Isn't he here?

Although I have to avoid him but I can't help but ask a boy about him.

"Isn't Ian here?" I question.

The boy points his index finger to his right direction and I look at there.

Wow!! What a remarkable sight!!
