THESE ARE OUR REQUIREMENTS
▣ This goes without saying, all books must adhere to Wattpad guidelines.

▣ You can enter two books into the club; one as your long term partnership book and the other as your house party book.

▣ Your first week with the club will be a trial period, before you're let in as a full-fledged member of the club.

▣ Just FYI, if you ever went MIA on the club without notice, either during your trial or as a full-fledged member, you will not be let back into the club if you reapply.

▣ Our Book club is cross platforms, i.e. also have a Coalition Book club on Inkitt. If you're interested in joining our bi-weekly reading club on Inkitt, go check us out there.

▣ All books and communication must be in English and books entered into the club must have at least 5 chapters, excluding the author's note.

▣ We accept mature and LGBT. If you do not read mature and or LGBT, let us know on your application form.

▣ We accept all genres, except random and Oneshots.

▣ You are required to follow the founder and co-founders of the Coalition Community. Their handles are on our profile bio.

▣ Follow this account and add this book to your library to receive all of our weekly reading updates.

▣ Be active and communicative, and if you ever require time off, let your housekeeper or an admin know as early on as you can.

▣ You're to follow your housekeeper for easy communication.

▣ We do not use hashtags when reviewing in Coalition.

▣ The Coalition Log goes out every Monday at 9:00 AM EST and all reviewing deadline is Sunday 10:00 PM EST.

Our book club operates тwo ѕyѕтeмѕ: Tнe Loɴɢ Terм Pαrтɴerѕнιp αɴd Tнe Hoυѕe-Pαrтy Weekly Reading.

THE LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP
We operate two banners under this:
The Alliance | The Horde

Members are grouped into one of the two banners in the partnership log chapter [chapter 4]. The log shows all club members' books, genres, chapters and availability.

You get to choose your long-term partner, reach out to them and let the moderators know either via private message or with a comment on the partnership log chapter.

Once your partnership is confirmed by the moderator and added to the partnership log chapter, you and your partner are then to read and review each other's books until completion.

It is one chapter a week, but partners are welcomed to read more chapters if they agree to it.

Partners are to always log their partnership progress and let their banner officer know once they've reached the end of their partner's book. The banner officers are mentioned in the partnership log chapter.

THE HOUSE PARTY
We operαтe foυr нoυѕe-pαrties:

For house party readings, all house member's books will be placed in a pool and every week the housekeeper will draw a book of the week based on a random shuffle. This will be called the cell pick, and all housemates are to review two chapters of the house pick.

Once you're done with your review for the week, answer the question of the week at the bottom of the log. If your housekeeper requires you to tag them, kindly do so.

If your book happens to be the cell pick of your house party for the week, you'll be required to review the book on your banner shelf.

Both banners will have a banner pick on their shelf every month and will be in the weekly coalition log. Banner picks are chosen based on our ace points scoring system.

REVIEW LEGEND
Our review legend program rewards those who leave amazing reviews every week. You win ace points, a mention on the club page, a mention in the Coalition hall of fame book, and an honourable mention in the weekly log for a month. The Review Legend is decided based on admin monthly nomination and voting.

ACE POINT SYSTEM
Ace points help you land the banner pick of the month. Ace points can also be used to undo a strike penalty or opt-out of an event. To learn more about how to earn Ace Points, navigate to the Ace Ranking Chapter [Chapter 3]. The Ace Ranking chapter will display each member's accumulated Ace points.

HIATUS
You're allowed time off, we understand there's a real-world out there. Hiatus only lasts for a month, and it's best to request hiatus before a new weekly log goes out. After a month on hiatus, you'll be removed from the club's log.

EXTENSION
Reviewing extensions are allowed, however, we require at least 24 hours notice before the week's reading deadline. Deadline across the Coalition Community is Sunday 10:00 PM EST. If you require more time, let your housekeeper or an admin know prior to the deadline.

STRIKE/OVERDUE
▣ Ours is a 3 strike rule. Once you get three consecutive strikes, you're out and will not be allowed back into the club.

▣ You get a strike when you do not complete your reviews before the weekly deadline and don't request an extension or aren't on hiatus.

▣ Your reading activities will be suspended once a strike is recorded. When on suspension, you get a week to do your reviews, plus one additional chapter as a penalty.

▣ In the event that you do not complete your task during your suspension, you'll be removed from the club and if you reapply to the club, you're to complete the penalties owed to the club first before your application will be considered. Fair is fair.

▣ Those who go MIA with pending reviews will be tagged 'deserters' and will not be able to apply to the club or affiliate communities' book clubs in the future.

▣ If your reviews are just the bare minimum and your housekeeper/banner officer informs you to pick up the slack, and you don't, you'll be placed on suspension until your review picks up.

THE TRIAL PERIOD
Like we stated earlier, your first week with the club will be on a trial basis. After you send in an application, an admin will confirm the information on your form and send you a private message. You'll then undergo our Reviewing Boot camp and shadow your housekeeper throughout your trial week. This helps us to assess your reviewing skills and help you improve [if need be].

After your trial period, you'll be added to your house-party's book shuffle and added to the long-term partnership pool.

All the necessary information will be communicated to you via PM.
