good company | liebgott
this doesn't exactly follow the BoB story line / events :)
The last thing Liebgott saw before passing out was an angel-like medic peering over him. The same face he saw when he woke back up. "I'm glad you're awake, Corporal." She sighs. Liebgott groaned as he lifted his head up to look at his surroundings. He was in a room inside a church. That's all he could recognize. "Where are we?" He asks. "We're in a makeshift hospital. You got hit, sir." She replies. "Sir. Wow. I can get used to that." Liebgott smirks. Y/n just chuckle, shaking her head slightly. "And what should I refer to you as?" Liebgott asks. "I'm Y/n. I'll be your nurse for your recovering period." She smiles, cleaning up the dried blood that scattered his shoulder blade. "How'd I get hit? I don't remember much." Liebgott questions. "A bullet ricocheted off a man's helmet and hit your shoulder and neck. You won't be out for long." She reassures him. "Shame. It's so calm here." He sighs. "You're a Technician 5th Grade. Is that correct?" She asks. "Yeah. Nothin' too special." He laughs. "You're also a translator. You work with David Webster, correct?" She continues. "Yeah. How do you know all this?" Liebgott asks. "I observe people. I'm a medic, not a nurse. But my superiors tend to let the men do all the work. So, what else can I do but observe?" Y/n mutters as she continues to clean and fix Liebgott up. "Well, so far you're doin a great job." Liebgott smiles. "I've got to run out and get more supplies. I'll be back soon. Don't move, okay?" Y/n asks. "All right." Liebgott smirks, sending her a kiss as she runs out of the room. For now, he was grateful he got hit.
