Milly's P.O.V

I was still in shock from yesterday, it had been the most magical night and I don't think I would ever forget. I went downstairs because I smelt the familiar scent of pancakes  and syrup, finding my mum beside the stove.

M- Mum | Mi- Milly

Mi- oh wow mum this smells amazing
M- all for you darling
M- now, where did you disappear off to last night

I was scared she would ask this question because I knew that she hated Harvey, she would have much preferred me dating Max, but she still doesn't like Max either. I thought there's no point lying with her, she was obviously gonna find out the truth someday. But maybe if I showed her how sweet he was, her thoughts would change towards him.

M- Milly, milly
M- honestly it's like I'm talking to a brick wall
Mi- oh sorry mum I zoned out
M- so, where were you last night
Mi- oh. Um, I know you don't like him but I was with Harvey

I said while slowing down and looking towards the floor. I saw an angry look come across her face before she was about to scream at me, but I quickly interrupted.

Mi- LET ME EXPLAIN
M- what, did he hurt you
Mi- no of course not mum, he would never hurt me. He's the cutest most amazing boy I've ever met. He took me on a date last night, and it was magical. He put so much effort into it and he obviously cares so much. He just makes me so happy mum, I know you hate him mum, but I don't like him either,

And at that I noticed that Harvey was by my door, listening the whole time, because he was crying, happy tears. But when I said I didn't like him, he instantly became sad, and started walking away

H- Harvey      M- Mum     Mi- Milly

Mi- HARVEY WAIT
M- NO, let him go
Mi- Mum butt out

And she actually does

H- what, you said you don't like me
Mi- I don't

And with that he walks away, so I shout

Mi- HARVEY MILLS I DONT LIKE YOU, I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD IMAGINE AND IF I GOT THE CHANCE TO ONLY HAVE ONE THING IN THE WORLD  IT WOULD BE YOU

At this, he turns around crying happy tears, and we just hug, we just hug forever. It felt like hours. Them he pulled apart, and we shared a long kiss, a good 15 seconds I'd say. I noticed my mum, she was actually smiling, my mum was smiling, an odd site.
