Reunited

"Julie's home!" Alex said cheerfully, walking to the door and peering out the window. "And she brought Flynn and a girl I don't recognize."

"What do we do?" Jason asked.

"Flynn can't see us, and I doubt that the new girl can see us." Reggie said, shrugging. "Business as normal."

"Let's go in the studio to study!" Jason heard Julie say outside the door. Jason peered out the door, quickly recognizing one of the girls.

"Oh my gods..."

"Jason, you good?" Luke asked.

Jason turned around, taking a deep breath. "I suggest that we hide..."

"Why?" Alex asked.

"This is where the magic happens!" Julie said happily, the doors starting to open.

"Too late..." Jason said nervously as the door swung open and the three girls walked inside.

Hazel looked up and saw Jason's face staring at her. Hazel froze, staring at Jason. "You didn't choose reincarnation..."

"Hazel?" Flynn asked gently.

"She can see us?" Luke asked, his eyes widening.

"H-H-Hazel, hi-" Jason struggled to say.

All of a sudden, Hazel seemed to switch languages, muttering to herself in what sounded like Italian, probably some choice words she picked up from Nico, before she switched to a language that Jason could understand. "Why are you not in Elysium?"

"I've been trying to figure that out since I died!"

"Jason Matthew Grace!"

"My middle name isn't Matthew...."

"Do I look like I care?"

"Right, sorry..."

"Why didn't you come find us for help!?"

"I thought that I was imagining things until Reggie found me..."

"If you weren't already dead, Jason, I'd murder you myself. Nico and I, we felt you die. We felt you pass. We thought we imagined it, but then Apollo and Meg showed up at Camp with your corpse, and then Reyna became a Hunter-"

"Reyna's a Hunter of Artemis?" Jason asked, then a thought occured to him. "Oh no, Thalia..."

"You just THOUGHT OF YOUR SISTER!?"

"I'VE HAD MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO THINK ABOUT HAZEL!"

"WE COULDN'T EVEN TELL CAMP HALF-BLOOD ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU DIED!"

"Are you telling me that Annabeth, Percy, Nico, Will, and the others found out about me WITHIN THE LAST MONTH!?" Jason yelled, giving Hazel a concerned look. "Hazel Marie Levesque-"

"Just because my mother's name was Marie, that does not mean that my middle name is Marie!" Hazel shot back. "And besides, I had other things to figure out."

"Like what?"

"Oh, I don't know, how to praetor?"

Jason's confusion calmed down, his face breaking into a smile. "You took over for Reyna?"

"Not by choice." Hazel said, taking in a deep breath. "Jason... I don't..."

"I know." Jason said, speaking in English. "I missed you too, Hazel."

"If I could hug you right now, I would." Hazel said, her voice sounding coarse.

"What did I just poof into?" Willie asked. Hazel didn't even notice the other ghost proof in.

Hazel turned her attention to the shell shocked faces of the other four ghosts. "Why are you guys not down in my dad's domain?"

"Could we back up a little bit?" Flynn asked. Hazel turned around to see Flynn and Julie's shocked faces. "I could only hear half of the conversation, I'm assuming that it was an arguement-"

"Don't think of it like an arguement. Think of it as an... Interrogation out of sisterly love." Hazel corrected.

"I love you Hazel!" Jason said, smiling as much as he could.

"We're having words later, I hope you know this."

"I know..."

"But what languages were you speaking!?" Julie added.

"Well, at first I was cursing in Italian, as you do-"

"One does not simply curse in Italian." Flynn said, crossing her arms. "Why do you even know Italian?"

"My brother, Nico." Hazel explained. "He speaks rapid fire Italian when he gets excited about something, mainly his boyfriend nowadays, or when he gets concerned, like he did with a certain friend of ours, Jason."

Jason smiled nervously. "Speaking of Will and Nico, how are they doing?"

"Blissfully happy, but get this: Will glows."

The other people in the room gave each other confused looked as Jason tilted his head. "Excuse me?"

"Like one of those cracky things."

"Will is a human glow stick?"

"Except he doesn't have to crack anything to do it."

"Did you just call a glow stick a cracky thing?" Alex asked.

"You hush up." Hazel said, pointing directly at Alex. "I need time to accept that Jason's a ghost before I deal with you and your crew."

"You're not disturbed by the fact that we're ghosts?" Reggie asked.

"No. You're talking to someone who died around the time of the Great Depression. This is normal for me."

"I'm sorry, you what?" Julie asked.

"Yeah. My brother brought me back to life." Hazel said, looking over at Jason. "You didn't tell them the real reason you died, did you? Let me guess, since you got speared, you told them you died in a freak fishing accident?"

"Yeah..."

"Heapheastus's Hand Grenades!"

"What's going on?" Flynn asked.

"You know the Greek myths? The gods in those myths aren't gone. They still have children. Jason and I are examples of that." Hazel said, looking over at Jason. "Jason, are you gonna tell them who your father is, or am I going to have to do that?"

"My dad's Jupiter. The Greeks and the Romans are sides of the same coin, so they have children in both their Greek forms and their Roman forms." Jason explained nervously.

"And I'm the daughter of Pluto." Hazel explained. "All demigods can see ghosts. We're used to strange things like that."

"You said you're from the 30's..." Willie said uneasily.

"My mother and I both died in the late 30's, maybe early 40's. My brother found me in the Underworld when he went to go look for our other sister. She chose rebirth, which is what I thought happened to to Jason. You all should be down there. What happened?"

"Unfinished business?" Alex said uneasily.

"Of course!" Hazel said, smiling to herself. "That makes so much more sense!"

"It does?" Julie asked.

"What makes sense?" Flynn asked.

"Jason died defending his friends! Of course he has unfinished business!" Hazel said, looking over at Jason. "The only question is, what is it?"

"Can't you tell us?" Reggie asked. "We tried completing what we thought our unfinished business was once, but..."

"My dad may rule the Underworld, but I don't know everything." Hazel said, sighing heavily.

"But you know how to speak Greek?"

"It was Latin. There's a difference." Jason corrected. He turned his attention back to Hazel. "How are we gonna figure out my unfinished business?"

"I have no idea..." Hazel said, looking over at Julie. "I don't want to kick you guys out, but-"

"You want to fill Jason in on what he's missed?" Julie interrupted. "Humans and ghosts, out!"
