Camp Jupiter Gets Excited
"Oh my gods, she's actually on time today!" Lavinia teased as Hazel came running down the aisles, armor crooked.
"I know! It's a first for me!" Hazel agreed, running to the front next to Frank.
"You were almost late again, weren't you?" Frank whispered.
"My armor's crooked, isn't it?"
"Yeah..."
"Sorry!" Hazel apologized, quickly readjusting her armor to fit her properly. "I tried to be on time, honest! Flynn would NOT let me go until I had the dance down."
"Dance?" Frank asked, tilting his head in confusion.
"I'll explain later."
"Got it." Frank said, laughing to himself as he cleared his throat. "Everyone, at ease. Sit at your tables. Praetor Levesque has some things to go over with you about tomorrow, so listen up!"
"You're really leaving this all to me?" Hazel whispered.
"I'll chime in. You just know more about the situation." Frank whispered back. "Plus, they're more likely to believe you about the ghost because of the Pluto thing."
"Right..." Hazel said, taking a deep breath as she started walking through the aisles of tables. "As I am sure all of you know at this point, I have started going to a school for the arts."
"How's that going?" One of the kids from the First Cohort asked.
"It's... Going... I don't really want to get into that right now though. I have made a couple friends there. One of those friends is named Julie Molina. The name may not mean anything, but those of you who, in the past couple months have had access to the internet or the celestial bronze infused phones that the Vulcan kids made, thanks for that, by the way, will know Julie as the lead singer in Julie and the Phantoms."
"You're friends with Julie and the Phantoms?" Dakota, the other centurion of the Fifth Cohort that Frank and Hazel came from, asked excitedly.
"Yes, I am. The holograms that she performs with are not holograms at all. They are, in fact, real ghosts."
"While that's cool, Praetor Levesque," One of the kids from the Second Cohort asked nervously, raising their hand. "Why are you telling us this?"
"Excellent question. I am telling you all this because Julie and the Phantoms are coming into Camp Jupiter tomorrow after school."
The room erupted into confused conversations, some people yelling, other just pure excitement. Everyone quieted down when a lion at the front of the room roared as loudly as it could. Everyone instantly became silent, looking over as Frank turned back into a human. "If you will all quiet down, Praetor Levesque will explain why."
"Thank you, Praetor Zhang. The reason they are coming is because they have found someone important to me, Praetor Zhang, and our friends." Hazel explained, feeling her emotions starting to become the better of her. She took a deep breath before she continued. "When Pontifex Maximus Jason Grace died earlier this year, it hit myself and Praetor Zhang particularly hard, even though Frank hid it a whole heck of a lot easier than I did. When I went down to the Underworld to make sure that Jason had made it down there safely, I had wrongly assumed that Jason had tried for rebirth. In reality, he had never made it down there."
"Are you saying that he's still walking the Earth as a ghost?" Lavinia asked.
"Yes, Lavinia, that is exactly what I am saying."
"How is that possible?" One of the kids from the Fourth Cohort asked.
"I'm not entirely sure, I'm not going to lie to you guys and pretend that I have all the answers. What I do know is that Jason is not the only one. Including the guys of Julie and the Phantoms, there are at least five other people in the same situation as Jason, one of which is, as far as I'm assuming, possessing one of Julie's friends to try and hurt the band."
"Wait, what?" Frank asked, standing up. "That's a confirmed thing?"
"That's the thing I promised I would explain later." Hazel said quickly. "To try and help Jason get down to my dad's domain, Julie and the Phantoms and crew are not going to be the only people visiting tomorrow. The friends and family that Jason made while alive, including, but not limited to, Percy Jackson and the rest of the crew of the Argo 2, his older sister Thalia, former Praetor Ramirez-Arellano, and my brother, will also be visiting tomorrow. You are not allowed to gawk at anyone who shows up tomorrow. They are people, and they deserve to be respected. If you guys are on your best behavior tomorrow, I may be able to convince Julie and the Phantoms to perform tomorrow instead of having us to war games. I literally just came up with this, I have not discussed this with Praetor Zhang-"
"I think it's a good idea!" Frank said quickly.
"Just please be on your best behavior tomorrow." Hazel said, walking over to the praetor table. "That's all! You guys can eat now!"
The wind spirits quickly came out started passing out food. Hazel sat down next to Frank, smiling at him nervously. "Sorry I said that. It really was a spur of the moment idea."
"And I liked it." Frank said quickly. "Really. It was a good idea."
"I need to talk to Julie... I know that they'll be down, but I still need to clear it with them."
"Hazel, everything's gonna be fine." Frank said, reaching his hand over at gently grabbed Hazel's for reassurance. "Tomorrow is gonna go as good as it possibly can."
"You're right. I shouldn't be worrying too much."
"Exactly. Tell me about your day? How'd you confirm the whole... Caleb thing?"
"You cannot mention this in front of Julie and crew tomorrow. I told them that it's nothing right now, but-"
"We still need to talk it over with Nico and Piper."
"Exactly."
"I'm all ears."
