1. Regulate.

"Isaac, I swear if you fuck this bike up," I growled, holding the keys tightly in my hand.

"I made you breakfast, what better way to show you how much I love and appreciate you?" He questions, showcasing the meal he had made.

I snorted," okay one I heard you leaving the house this morning to get this from IHOP and two how many times do I have to tell you? You don't have to do anything for me, you're my friend, now family, and you're welcome to stay here as long as you want. Free of charge, but if you fuck this motorcycle up someone's going to get shot."

He laughs, blue eyes crinkling, "well getting shot is one of the things my father didn't do to me so that actually scares me."

I tried not to stiffen, hearing about the many ways his father went "flowers in the attic" on him was not my favorite. This however was one of the many ways Isaac coped with his pain, so I dealt with it.

"Well Bambi, I will shoot you with Lola my gun if you fuck this motorcycle up okay? Now does my son need money for school?" I teased.

His laugh dropped, groaning in annoyance at me," how many times did I tell you not to call me Bambi."

"None that I listened," I smirked and jumped off the table to reach the stack of bacon on the table.

"Alright well I'm heading out, I'm going to Scott," he murmured.

"Are you going to talk to him about Allison?" I questioned, turning to look at him.

"Uhh, yeah," he nods.

"Good luck," I nodded, knowing Scott was already cool with it.

"You want me to come back and ride with you to school or are you cool by yourself?" He asks me as I chew on the bacon.

I shrug my shoulders, "it's fine. You go and drive your new bike, I'm going to pick up Lydia and be on my way."

He nodded, grabbing his backpack and gently kissing my forehead before heading out the door. Since Isaac had moved in we really hadn't spent much time together alone in the house but now that things had ceased to be all zodiac it was better. Whenever I wasn't with Scott or Lydia I was usually here with him, mornings we would eat breakfast together and dinner was mandatory. We were growing accustomed to a brother sister bond, one I was grateful for. Charlie didn't have much of a problem with it once I had explained Isaac situation to the best of my ability, he was going to be coming down soon to meet him. Although he was a little apprehensive to have a guy alone with me all day he understood once I explained to him that I did not see my little baby deer that way.

I had bought him a motorcycle the other day, keeping it a secret until it had been dropped off earlier this morning. I knew Isaac tended to get wary in small spaces so instead of buying an impala I had opted to get him something he would feel much freer in. From the positive response of the engine roaring outside I'm assuming he loved it.

Groaning out I looked at my phone, seeing some texts from Lydia and Scott.

Scotts mostly said he would meet me at school before the bell rang and Lydia's just said good morning.

I answered both of them back positively, biting into my pancakes as quickly as possible.

School was one of those things no one could quite get out of and since I was demanded to go I had about an hour to get ready. Taking my hot coffee upstairs I walked into my closet and looked around for something decent. It was suppose to be on the warm side today so I decided to go with a burgundy skirt that flowed out around me. A black, fleece long sleeve sweater adorned the top half of my body while black boots and a grey infinity scarf topped it off. I had showered before bed last night so I opted with letting my hair flow down my back in pretty waves while I quickly applied foundation, eyeliner, and mascara. A tube of red Chapstick finished the look before I was down the stairs and into my car.

"Morning!" I smiled as Lydia got in my car, her skirt fluttering around her as she sat down.

"Morning, how are you feeling?" She asked me as I drove down the road to school.

Lookin over at her once I shrugged," you have got to stop asking me that. I'm fine. No side effects, I'm good."

"Sorry, it's just I've been doing all this studying and well some of this stuff should scare us," she sighs.

I nod, remembering the warning my deceased family had given me.

"That dream I had the other night scared me too," I nodded with her.

"I don't want to jinx it but I also don't want to be too careless..." she nodded along.

I sighed," I know... look I'll talk to Scott about it and in the meantime let's keep an eye on the 3 of them. I'll even ask Isaac to help."

"Let's hope I'm just being pessimistic."

"Where Scott?" Lydia asks as we browse through the halls in search of our lockers.

I shrug my shoulders,"don't know. I'm assuming with Stiles."

She stops in her tracks giving me this look like what I've just said is the most ridiculous thing she's ever heard.

"What?" I ask clueless until I start examining her face a little long and purse my lips, rolling my eyes. "Contrary to popular belief couples don't have to be up each other's ass all the time, it's been 2 weeks since that shit happened."

"You mean it's been 2 weeks since he asked you out, which means no you don't have to be up each other's asses but you normally are getting it on in every corner you can find." She smirks.

"Well... that didn't work out so well the last time," I mumbled, remembering that embarrassing night,m. "Stiles caught us... midway."

"You're kidding?"

"I wish I was, I really wish I was," I sigh. I had felt so embarrassed that night, Scott and I pushing one another down the stairs. We hadn't even actually done anything, or gotten to do anything. Stiles had seemed to get over it quickly after a few days of teasing but it loomed over my head. Sexual frustration will do that to a person.

"That's... that's," she tried finding the right words, snickering as she looked around to see if anyone else had heard. The bell rang above us and I huffed out in annoyance.

"Allison," Lydia whispered, looking behind me. I turned on my heel, furrowing my eyebrows when I noticed said brunette looked completely out of it. She looked downright terrified at whatever it was that she stared at.

Lydia walked ahead of me, both of us coming up near the girl as the strawberry blonde spoke up," Allison?"

Allison looked at either of us, like she hadn't noticed us standing there or she hadn't noticing where she was at all.

₩₩₩₩

"Crap, Scott is not answering his phone," I mumbled, walking through the school in search of my boyfriend and best friend.

Allison was experiencing hallucinations now, even going as far as not knowing how in the hell she had arrived to school. I believed her too because the dazed looked in her eyes before Lydia called out to her was almost haunting. She also told us about how she had seen her dead aunt during it.

Either of those thing equally terrifying.

Lydia and Allison walked right behind me as I caught site of light brown hair and dashed towards it.

"Stiles!" I yelled, grabbing him by the arm so he would stop walking,"hey we have a situation and you're going to want to hear this one..."

Someone bumped into me harshly, forcing me to grab onto something as I tried turning to see just who it was.

"Hey." I yelled out, grabbing Scott who had the same look of fear as Allison had moments go. My fingers grabbing onto his shirt so he would stop and pay attention to me, "Hey, you all right? You don't look all right, Scott."

When I spoke his name it seemed to click within him, his fingers grabbing onto my own and breathing out deeply, "I'm okay."

Stiles came up next to us, analyzing him once and voicing my thoughts, "No, you're not. It's happening to you too. You're seeing things, aren't you?"

"You're too?" I questioned, gulping.

"How'd you know?" Scott asked at the same time.

"Because," Lydia came near us with Allison, "it's happening to all three of you."

₩₩₩₩

"Well, well, look who's no longer the crazy ones." Lydia said while I smirked, both of us walking ahead of the trio of crazy. Honestly, as much as it pained me to see my friends going through this it was a relief not to be the one being attacked. I was so over being the targeted one and judging by Lydia's gloating smile I'm assuming she was too. Mental manipulation was not my thing, in fact, if one more person tried that shit on me I was ready to hunt them down.

"We're not crazy." Allison said from behind us.

"Hallucinating?" I turned to eye her.

"Sleep paralysis?" Lydia added, turning to look at Stiles.

"You think they are fine?" I question my best friend in a smart ass manner.

"Yeah, they totally are fine." Lydia answered back.

"We did die and come back to life. That's gotta have some side effects, right?" Scott, obviously irritated with our gloating, deciding to get back on the serious note and think of a good explanation.

"We keep an eye on each other." Stiles then decided. "Okay? And Lydia and Imelda will you both stop enjoying this so much?"

"Stiles, this so the first time either of us aren't having crazy dreams okay. I think skipping down the hallways is in order for us. Isn't that right Lydia." I smirked, turning to them.

"Damn right." She nodded.

"Scott get your girlfriend please." Stiles spoke in annoyance.

I snorted, turning and walking backwards," actually I'll see you guys in class. I need to go use the restroom."

No one questioned my cool answer, so I quickly walked away before someone tried joining me. Scotts eyes caught mine for a second and I winked at him, letting him know I was alright.

In reality I quickly paced down the hallway in search of Marin Morrell, if something was happening to my friend then she would know what it was.

I came to her door, opening the office space only to find her name slot empty, another person in place.

"Uhm wheres Morrell?" I questioned Mallory the assistant.

"She took a job at Eichen," She murmured to me," but she left your paperwork with the new counselor, I could set up a meeting for you."

I smiled softly and shook my head," no it's okay. I have class to get to."

Quickly shitting the door before she called me back I trudged down the hall, mumbling in annoyance. Obviously that bitch was terrified to come back.

Charlie had texted me multiple times in the morning, he was trying to buy me a puppy. I was indecisive as ever in choosing wether I really wanted one or not.

Since our history professor had been killed we had just been given a new one, and he started today.

From Lydia;
New girls staring dreamily at Scott.

I furrowed my brows when I received the text, what the hell? What new girl? I hadn't seen a new girl. She was probably doing this to annoy me, I hadn't seen a new girl.

The door to class was right in front of me when I received the message and I wasted no time in opening the door.

"Ms. Drake, so nice of you to join us," The teacher spoke once I had opened the door.

"Yeah sure," I nodded, resisting the urge to roll my eyes. That was so not necessary, honesty can't I just walk in and sit down. I'm here aren't I?

I huffed, walking to my seat next to Scott, he smiled at me.

"Calm down," he mouthed to me.

I stuck my tongue out at him and placed my bag on the desk.

"Good morning, everyone. My name is Mr. Yukimura. I'll be taking over for your previous History Teacher. My family and I moved here three weeks ago. I'm sure, by now, you all know my daughter, Kira. Or you might not since she's never actually mentioned anyone from school. Or brought a friend home for that matter." He indicated to one of the girl sitting all the way in the back. I furrowed my eyebrows, realizing this was the new girl. She had her head dropped down.

"Either way, there she is." Mr. Yukimura spoke, Kira lifting her head. Her cheeks were flushed as she looked around but I noticed her eyes lingered a little longer on Scott. A smile growing on her face even though Scott wasn't looking her way, "Now, let's begin with American History at the turn of the 20th century."

"Hey," Scotts voice spoke up, making me turn to him," you okay?"

I looked back at him, forgetting Kira and her looks at my boyfriend. Smiling at Scott, I nodded.

"Yeah. I'm perfect."

₩₩₩₩

I leaned next to Scotts locker, watching the hallways as he picked through all his textbooks. Kira was stuck somewhere in the back of my head, the way she looked at Scott had sent a flare in my chest. I know Scott liked me as much as I liked him but was it enough? This was so early in our relationship and I honestly didn't want to start acting all jealous now.

I breathed out deeply, putting it in the back of my mind.

"Oh, dude, your eyes." Stiles brings my attention back. As he peaks I notice Kira from down the hall noticing us as well. I look over to see Scotts eyes burning a bright red.

He looks between the both of us, freaking out as he asks, "What about them?"

"They're starting to glow." I whisper.

"You mean like right now?" He says to me wide eyed.

I nod my head furiously while Stiles answered him, "Yes, right now. Scott, stop. Stop it."

Scott begins to put heavily, ducking his head into the locker, "I can't I can't control it."

"Shit," I mumble, "Stiles let's get him out of here."

"All right, just keep your head down." Stiles nods, tucking Scotts head into his arm as we walk into one of the nearest rooms. "Look down, come on. Keep your head down."

I lock the door behind us, making sure the blinds are shut as Scott starts growling and pushing desks out of the way.

"GET BACK AWAY FROM ME!" He yelled, growling as his claws extended.

"Scott it's okay," Stiles attempted to calm him.

"NO!" He yelled out, eyes ablaze.

Swallowing my fear I walked over to him, watching as he started to dig his fingers into his palms.

"No! Don't do it!" I shook my head, calmly taking his palms into my smaller hands.

"I can't control it," he huffed out.

I nodded, squeezing his clawed hands into my own and lifting myself onto my toes so I could place my lips on his. He sucked in a breath, while I squeezed his hands. I could practically taste the amount of exertion he was using not too hurt me, his claws hadn't embedded them into my skin just yet. My dream began to rear its ugly head but I pushed it aside and brought him closer to me, placing his arms on my sides.

I pulled away after a long moment, letting the seconds tick by as his breath was let out and he tapped his forehead against my own gently.

"You're okay," I mumbled, nodding my head," you're okay."

He nods, pressing his fingers into my skin softly. His claws are gone now and his eyes are back to the chocolate brown I adore. We pull away, our fingers lacing with one another's automatically. I don't know how I feel about what I just did, mostly relieved that he could calm down as fast as possible but Scott needed to be able do do it himself. What if I wasn't there the next time or Stiles? He could very well kill someone.

"Scott, this isn't just in our heads." Stiles spoke up, earning my attention as I noticed how he trembled in place. "This is real. And it's starting to get bad for me too. I'm not just having nightmares. I'm having dreams where I have to literally scream myself awake. And sometimes I'm not even sure if I'm actually ever waking up."

"What do you mean?" I questioned, biting my lip.

"Do you know how you can tell if you're dreaming? You can't read in dreams. More and more, the past few days, I've been having trouble reading. It's like I can't see the words. I can't put the letters in order." Stiles explained messing with his fingers.

"Like even now?" Scott spoke up.

Stiles took a moment, his Amber eyes wondering around the room. I noticed how he quickly drifted from poster to poster, he sighed out in defeat and with a shaky voice spoke, "I can't read a thing."

₩₩₩₩

"What are you in the mood for?" I asked Scott, my fingers laced with his as I drove towards my house.

He didn't respond, Scott always answered which concerned me so I turned my head to him and applied pressure to our hands.

"Hey," I mumbled when he looked at me, "you're going to be okay. You know that right? I won't let anything happen to you."

"What if what's happening escalates? What if it's just not effects from dying? What if it's something real?" He questions me.

I pursed my lips, realizing that Scott was actually freaking out over this. This concerned him. I pursed my lips, "then we will do something about it like we always do Scott. I promise we will."

He nods, leaning back into the seat, "I don't want to talk about this anymore. Let's talk about something else."

Nodding my head I sigh, "the new girl noticed something when you kept turning."

"What really? Kira right?" He asked.

I nodded my head, "yeah her. She kept staring at you weirdly."

"What do you mean weirdly," he questions.

I shrug my shoulders, "don't know. She just wouldn't stop staring, it was weird."

Scott smirks, seeming amused with my words, "was it weird for you because you got jealous?"

I snorted, laughing," yeah sure I'm jealous. Why would I be jealous? Have you seen my ass? Of course you have, does it look like I would be jealous when you know who you've got?"

He snickered, "shallow as hell? Yeah I'm okay with that."

"Oh shut up, shallow as hell is hot to you," I teased.

"Yes it is, which is one of the many reason why I'm with you. The others being you're beautiful, stubborn, smart, funny..." he says, lifting my hand and kissing my fist.

I snort, "don't get all mushy on me now."

"We could stop the car and do it? I could show you just how much I like you."

"Interesting tactic, but I'm hungry so I'm gonna go with no. Try that one again after I eat and you might get lucky."
