It's been three days since our damage to Kai's house. He hasn't encountered just yet.

Meanwhile, things are going fine at the Mikaelson home. Yes, I'm still here but about that... I actually began looking at apartments yesterday. And I now have my eye on one - which I haven't told anyone yet, I will eventually though.

Things are getting back to the way they use to be when I first arrived; peaceful.

And soon enough I'll have my own place.

Oh, and another thing - Rebekah returned to Mystic Falls with Damon.

Leaving me stuck with the boys in the meantime.

Elijah's well... Elijah. Same - causes no trouble and keeps to himself.

And as for the other brother--

"Hello, love." Someone interjects, standing right in front of me, stopping my inner thoughts.

"Klaus," I pause and stand from where I was sitting on the comfortable chair in the den.

"What are you doing here?" I pause and mentally face palm myself, "I mean... sorry, hey."

I greet ridiculously.

Great job, Hayley.

Klaus smirks in return, "Hey. Are you alright? You looked like you were in a daze for a moment before I intruded,"

"I'm fine, sorry. I was just thinking about some stuff, random stuff. Like stuff that's not important, stuff." I answer.

'Stuff'? Nice, keep it going Hayley so he'll love you even more.

-- Did I just say 'love'?

Oh my--

"Stuff? What kind of 'stuff'?" Klaus interjects my inner, crazy thoughts again.

"Oh, well a lot really," I continue as I go to sit on a two-seated couch, as he follows sitting beside me.

"I've been looking at apartments, and I found one," I pause, glancing at him as he has patience for me to continue.

"I'm listening," He states grinning, staring into my brown eyes. 

I crack a smile and continue, "Well I'm interested in it and it's a pretty decent size. And even better, it's not that far from here - only four blocks down. The payments on it are totally acceptable too." I inform him.

He stops in thought before beginning, "So, you really are leaving?"

I arch an eyebrow, "Well, yeah. I can't stay here for the whole summer, Klaus. I'd feel like I would be invading or something," I laugh and he smiles as I go on, "It's been two weeks since I arrived and I'm ready to settle in my own place."

"Fair," He reasons, a grin plastered across his face, his dimples forming.

"May I see this apartment that has you so intrigued?" He questions.

I stand to walk towards the bookshelf that holds the paper about the apartment, and he follows behind me.

Now standing in front of the shelf, I take the paper with the image of the apartment and hand it to him.

He gazes at it, "It's nice," He claims, "But it would better if you stay here."

With his eyes still placed on the paper he hands it to me after his confrontation that I would be better off here, and I place the paper back on the shelf as he walks away and I follow behind him.

"What are you saying? You want me to stay here?" I hurriedly follow behind him after realizing he's walking pretty fast.

He then comes to a complete stop, turning to face me - causing me to bump into him.

My chest hits his and our faces only centimeters apart.

"Yes."

He formally admits.
