Getting out of bed, I walk out the bedroom and look for Elijah.

Klaus just left, already beginning his search for Kai. Yes, I wanted to kill Kai myself - I didn't plan on putting this into Klaus' hands.

I find Elijah and Rebekah in the kitchen, "Elijah, Klaus is on his way to find Kai and I don't know what will happen or how bad this will make out to be," I inform directly towards Elijah, interfering their discussion.

"Could he have gotten far?" Rebekah asks grabbing her jacket to rush out and catch up with Klaus.

"I'm not sure," I rush behind her.

"This could declare something between our kind and whatever Kai may be, which is the least thing we want now," Elijah follows.

"Whatever he is he's strong. Vampire maybe?" I state and wonder to myself.

"Well when we find him he's a bloody dead man; hurting you? He won't get away with." Rebekah exclaims as we rush out the front door and track down Klaus on feet.

"Hayley, do you remember which direction the house was?" Elijah questions.

I point out in the correct direction as I gather pieces of the path Klaus carried me, and they follow my lead.

Rebekah, Elijah and I have been running for about 10 minutes and we finally spot a guy dressed in black as usual, and a ferocious look plastered on his face. 

"Isn't that him?" Rebekah questions softly before I recognize who's walking a few feet in front of us.

"Klaus!" I yell, getting his attention.

Klaus turns to face us and takes a deep breath before approaching us three, "I told you to stay home, Hayley."

"I couldn't leave you," I blurt, leaving Elijah and Rebekah to look at me awkwardly.

"I mean... you could get hurt." I clarify, and I glance at Rebekah and her brother to see that they turn back to look at Klaus.

"You, could've gotten hurt Hayley." Klaus states, his eyes locking with mine.

"We should go, we don't want him to leave the only place we would find him." Elijah suggests.

Klaus and I break our stare and the three of us follow behind Elijah,

"I should probably," I state while sneaking in front of Elijah for them to follow behind me, leading the way.

Might I add, I still don't know what me and Klaus are. We clearly brought out the side that's revealing that we care for each other, but that doesn't mean anything... I don't think.

And the whole 'always and forever' at cotillion between us, I meant it. Every single word.

And truthfully, I hope he meant it too. -Cough- I mean I slightly, [teensy weensy] just a little, hoped he meant it too.

From being sidetracked by my inner thoughts, we arrive in the yard of a decent one story house, and I recognize it.

"That's it."

I inform and without a doubt Klaus leads the way inside.

Protective much?

He stops at the doorstep, "I didn't think about this before we came," Klaus states with anger pulsing in his voice.

"Think about what?" Rebekah questions behind me.

I hear Elijah sigh behind her, "We have to be invited in."

You've got to be kidding me.
