I hear footsteps walk into the bedroom but I'm not startled because I know who it is.
I form a grin and begin opening my eyes to see Klaus standing there.
"Good morning, love." He greets smiling.
I sit up and glance at my arms. There are no bruises as there were last night.
"Morning," I greet back confused, "What happened to the bruises?"
"I gave you the blood I promised you last night. You healed."
"I don't remember drinking any blood," I furrow my eyebrows.
"I gave you a shot, love. In your arm I injected--"
"Klaus," I abrupt, gaining his full on attention.
"How'd you find me?"
Klaus glances down at his feet in thought, "At the cotillion, when we heard the screams, Elijah and I tried rushing as fast as we could to find you and Rebekah. When we got to where we left you both, you both were gone. And that's when I heard Rebekah shout for your name and I ran as fast as I could to find you two."
He sighs, "I got there where there were four bodies drained of blood, and you were gone.
Rebekah told me she didn't see you get taken. By the time we all arrived to the scene you were gone, leaving us worried out of our bloody minds." He informs me.
"So Elijah, Rebekah and I went out for days searching for you. We went our separate ways. And then I saw you, lying there and I felt relieved yet furious when I noticed your bruises. Which is why I want to know who did this,"
"His name is Kai," I state, my stomach oozing from the thought of him.
"He tried to kill me, and threatened me and," I pause in thought and feel the need to vomit.
"Klaus," I lift the back of my hand to cover my mouth, showing off to him that I'm in need of a trashcan.
He quickly stands and vamp speeds his way out the bedroom to get a trashcan and comes back within a second and places it beside the bed for my reach.
I nod giving a 'thank you' but don't speak again.
The sickening feeling passes and I get better without vomiting after all.
"He, he tried to--" I still couldn't continue when I see Klaus' jaw clench.
Now... he knows.
"That's all you had to say," He tenses and balls his fists.
"Klaus, you don't know where he is," I say arching an eyebrow.
"I can track your scent, find where you ran from. Give me something," He demands for a clothing I had with me for tracking.
I rip off a piece from my shirt and toss it to him.
He shoves it in his jean pocket.
"Klaus," I blurt before he leaves, his jaw still clenched as his blue-green eyes stare into mine.
"What are you going to do?" I question, my eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm going to kill him." He calmly, yet furiously claims.
