month after her wedding

she

was the happiest woman whoever existed

she

had a husband

she

was expecting a child

she

was an auntie

to a baby Adrianna

still 

hadn't named yet

she

had a mother

who lived to see her marry

alhamdulillah

Allah had given her everything.

so

to symbolise her thankfulness 

she took a walk.

In the busy streets

next to a busy highway

in a market

'pound a bowl pound a bowl'

hah!

even the shopkeepers were happy

but she should've seen it coming

the van

driving 

tearing through the road onto the pavement

disturbing the peace

and she should've seen it coming

wondered why people were running

but she turned

and instead

saw two headlights

and saw

two hateful eyes

and felt the force of the van

knock out the breath out of her stomach

and she was powerless

Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah

and she knew that she was going to die.

she just hoped

that people would come to her janazah.

La ilaaha ill-Allah: 

'There is no diety/no one worthy of worship except Allah'

This is from a hadith (saying) of the prophet SAW which said :"Exhort your dying ones to say Laa ilaaha ill-Allah"

This is because: It was narrated that Mu'aadh ibn Jabal (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "If a person's last words are Laa ilaaha ill-Allah, Paradise will be guaranteed for him."

Janazah: Ṣalāt al-Janāzah (Arabic: صلاة الجنازة‎‎) is the Islamic funeral prayer; a part of the Islamic funeral ritual. The prayer is performed in congregation to seek pardon for the deceased and all dead Muslims.
