~5 Months Later~

(Haruto POV)

'In about ten more days, it's Haya's birthday. I already have an idea of what I should give her. I just hope she likes it.' I thought.

"Hey, Haruto. What are you thinking about?" Haya asked.

"Hey, Haya." I said.

"I did ask a question. Can you please answer it?" Haya said walking closer to me. Good thing everyone else is asleep. Especially Inuyahsa. He might kill me if he sees Haya walking to me. I don't know why though. I guess he just hates me. What am I going to tell Haya of what I was thinking about? I can't just tell her about me already knowing what I should get her for her birthday.

"U-um. Y-you want to k-know what I w-was thinking about?" I asked stuttering. I've never stuttered before. What's getting into me?

"Yes I do. Have you ever stuttered before?" she asked.

"No I haven't." I said.

She giggled. Wait, why did she giggle? Though it did make me feel happy for some reason.

"Yo, Kagome." a wolf demon said.

"She's asleep." I told him.

"Who are you?" he asked pointing to Haya.

"I'm Haya. Inuyahsa's little sister." she said.

"Another mutt?" he asked.

"What did you say?" Haya asked through clenched teeth.

"I said 'another mutt'. You got problem with it, mutt." he asked.

"Who are you? I don't remember seeing you. How do you know my brother and Kagome?" Haya asked getting furious.

"The names Koga. I've met them before. I've never seen you around them though." Koga said.

Haya looked like she wanted to punch him.

"There's no need to punch him, Haya. He isn't worth it." I whispered to Haya. She nodded calming down.

"Just leave, Koga. I don't think Inuyasha would like to see you when he wakes up." I said.

"Well I want to see Kagome when she wakes up." Koga said.

"There's no way that's happening. You see, Inuyasha might kill you before you get to see Kagome." I said. Haya wrapped her arm around my arm. I blushed.

(Haya's POV)

Is Haruto blushing? That's so cute. I've never seen him blush before. I just wonder if he remembers when my birthday is. If he does remember, I wonder what he would get me. Maybe that's what he was thinking about. I put my head on Haruto's shoulder. He blushed even more. I giggled seeing him blush.

(Haruto's POV)

I think I know Koga. I do know him. I met him before I met Haya. Now I remember. Where are the other two wolf demons that was following him though? I just can't believe that Haya saw me blushing.

"Just go, Koga. I don't even know when they'll wake up." I said.

"Fine. I'm going to come back though." Koga said. He left.

Maybe I'll ask her before her birthday. If I do ask I won't have anything to give her for her birthday. I'll just wait for her birthday in ten days.

~10 Days Later~

(Haya's POV)

It's finally my birthday. I'm finally 15.

"Happy birthday, Haya." Haruto said.

"Thanks." I said hugging him. He remembered. I'm glad he remembered. Everyone else is asleep so Inuyasha won't see me hugging Haruto.

"Um. C-can we go somewhere else so I can give you your birthday present?" he asked.

I nodded. He took my hand and took me somewhere. I blushed. Haruto has been acting strange lately. I wonder why. Haruto sat down and I sat next to him.

"What did you want to give me?" I asked.

"It's more like asking though." he said.

"Ok. I'm fine with anything." I said blushing. I wonder what he wants to ask me.

"After we got to know each other, I was starting to... um... what's the word? Oh yeah. I was starting to fall in love with you. What I want to ask is, do you want to be my girlfriend?" he asked blushing like crazy.

I was also blushing like crazy. I can't believe it. He wants to date a half demon.

"Yes I would love to." I said hugging him. He hugged back.

"I love you, Haya." Haruto said.

"I love you too, Haruto." I said.

Haruto broke the hug leaning closer to me. I was still blushing like crazy. He wants to kiss me. I leaned towards him also. We were only inches apart. Haruto broke the gap and kissed me. I kissed him back.

(Inuyasha's POV)

Where is Haya and Haruto? Where could they have gone?

"HAYA!" I yelled.

"What's wrong, Inuyasha?" Kagome asked.

"Do you know where Haya went? She's missing." I told Kagome.

"I don't know where she is. Let's go look for her." Kagome said.

"Ok." I said.

"HAYA!" Kagome and I said.

(Haya's POV)

"HAYA! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I heard Kagome and Inuyasha yell.

"Crap." I muttered.

"What?" Haruto asked.

"Inuyasha and Kagome are looking for me. Why aren't they looking for you?" I asked confused.

"I don't know. We need to hide." Haruto said.

"But Inuyasha can sniff us out." I said.

"Not if we hide our scent." Haruto said picking up leaves.

I looked at him confused. What are we going to do with leaves? Haruto handed me some leaves.

"Come on. Let's hide our scent, then hide from Kagome and Inuyasha." Haruto said. That's what we're doing with the leaves. How's that going to help though? Oh well. I smelled blood.

"Oh crap." I said.

"What? Are they here?" Haruto asked.

"No they aren't here." I said.

"Then what is it?" Haruto asked.

"I smell blood." I said.

"Crap." Haruto said.

"Follow me. I'll lead us to where I smell it." I said. I hate it when someone gets killed.

"Is everything alright?" Haruto asked.

"I just hate it when someone gets killed." I said. Haruto hugged me. I hugged back.

"It's going to be alright. I promise." Haruto whispered into my ear. I nodded. Why did someone have to get killed today? Even though Haruto whispered into my ear it didn't sound like a whisper. I know why though. I'm half dog demon, so I have better hearing than humans. I broke the hug, holding Haruto's hand instead.

"Come on." I said walking to where I smelled the blood. Haruto followed still holding my hand.

~Few Minutes Later~

We got to where I smelled the blood. It was a massacre. I covered my mouth with my hands. I was about to cry. Haruto turned me towards him and hugged me. I hugged back crying. What did those people ever do to the person who killed them? I heard a laugh. I stopped crying.

"What the crap?" I said.

"What? Did you smell something?" Haruto asked.

"No. I heard a laugh." I said confused. Why would someone laugh? That person is obviously heartless.

"I think I know who laughed." Haruto said scared.

"Who?" I asked.

"Him." Haruto said pointing to Naraku. I started getting scared.

"INUYASHA! KAGOME!" I yelled very scared. "HELP US!"

(Inuyasha's POV)

"INUYASHA! KAGOME! HELP US!" I heard Haya yell.

"HAYA! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I yelled.

"IN A VILLAGE THAT HAD A MASSACRE!" Haya yelled. A massacre? Haya hates it when someone gets killed.

"KAGOME AND I ARE ON OUR WAY!" I yelled.

"What's going on?" Kagome asked worried.

"Haya and Haruto are being attacked." I said worried about my little sister.

"Where are they?" she asked.

"In a village that had a massacre." I told Kagome.

"Let's go." Kagome said getting on my back. I started following the scent of blood.
