(Haya's POV)

After Haruto freaking out that he would also be helping Inuyasha and me with the others find Naraku, he gave up and decided he would just suck it up and help us. Haruto must have asked me something since he was staring at me waiting for something. "What?" I asked.

"I asked you something." he told me.

"What was it?" I asked. That made it seem like I was either stupid or wasn't paying attention.

"I asked you about your parents." he said.

I looked down at the ground sad.

"Is it something I said?" he asked Kagome.

"You probably shouldn't have asked her about her and Inuyasha's parents." she said.

"Why?" he asked.

"Inuyasha or Haya will tell you when they want to." she told him.

"Ok." he said.

'Why did he have to bring that subject up?' I thought. I was still looking at the ground.

"Is everything alright?" Haruto asked me.

I looked up forcing a smile. "Yeah. Why?" I said.

"You zoned out. You were also looking at the ground sad." he said.

"I'm fine." I said. Why does he care? When we first met, he didn't care at all. Why did all of that change in a couple of days?

"Ok. I was just making sure." he said.

"Ok. At first we never got along. Why are you acting like we've known each other for a long time?" I asked.

"I just don't want to think about that, and make new friends. I also want to get to know demons better too." he said.

"Ok." I said.

~Few Hours Later~

When Haruto asked me about Inuyasha and mine parents, I couldn't stop thinking about them. I don't really even know them.

"Is everything alright, Haya?" Haruto asked.

"No." I said.

"Is when I mentioned your parents?" he asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Where are they?" he asked.

"You're going to keep asking until I tell you, aren't you?" I asked.

"Yeah." he said.

"They're dead." I said.

"They are? If I knew, I wouldn't have asked." he said.

"Yeah. I miss them so much." I said.

"I thought they were alive still." he said.

"I would have thought that if Inuyasha didn't tell me." I said.

Haruto looked at Inuyasha and said, "I bet he's a great brother."

"He is. There's something about us that you don't know, though." I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"We have an older brother. His name is Sesshomaru." I said.

"Is he a half demon like you and Inuyasha?" he asked.

"No. He's a full demon." I said.

"Ok." he said.

(3rd POV)

"Since you asked me about mine and Inuyasha's parents, where are your parents?" Haya asked.

"They're also dead." Haruto said.

"They are?" she said.

"Yeah. I miss them so much." he said.

"I also miss my parents." she said.

"We have something in common." he said.

"We do, don't we?" she said.

They both smiled at each other.

(Naraku's POV)

Inuyasha's group will never find me. Even if they now have another half demon. I just never thought that Inuyasha would have a little sister. When they get close enough, I'm going to attack them along with Kagura and Kanna. They will never see it coming.
