Hi everyone,

So, this is a new experience for me, and I'm excited for it. I'm writing this story in the context of the OpenNovellaContest. It's not the first time I participate in this award, but this time I intend to finish a story I'll be proud of.

For this matter, I took my time to get to know my characters and their stories. Some of these characters are really fun, and I hope you enjoy reading them.

In this chapter, I want to introduce Haverea, our fictional town in which most of the events will happen.

What's Haverea?

The name haverea is a made up name, I mean of course, did you think otherwise? 😅🤣

So, since HAVEREA is the haven of freedom, I wanted a name that joins these two words, "Haven" and "Freedom". Only the combinations I came up with were just weird 🙄:

Hadom? Freeven? Freehadomve? LOOL

Nah...

I usually look up latin words to come up with names, like in my other story Head Wolf when I came up with the name "Versipellia" for the kingdom of werewolves (but this is a secret🤫. The information didn't appear in Head Wolf yet, so don't tell anyone🤐. I really have to publish chapter 21, don't I? *sigh*).

Anyway, this time, I used my mother tongue, Arabic.
The word freedom in Arabic is hurria (emphasising the last syllable, and don't forget to roll your r😁)

So our town is the HAVEn of hurRIA: It's Haverea! Tadaaa!🎉🎉

What should I know about Haverea?

1. This is a perfect little country. It's perfectly perfect. like literally the perfect perfection😂

2. Haverea is "freedom's last haven", as its slogan says. It's the last free country. All the world is now ruled by dictators. So, the citizens of Haverea are very lucky, as you can imagine.
By now, I suppose, you're eager to see Haverea's emblem. The perfect emblem😎.

As you can see, we have the peace symbol, pigeons (not one but two) for freedom, lots of it😁, and the justice scale. It's perfection!

However, in Haverea there is no such thing as too much. So, in the national festival they presented the utmost perfect emblem.
Brace yourself!

Tadaaa, again!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

You can now release the breath you didn't realize you were holding😂😂😂.

Nick and Ophilia, two characters in this story will have the time of their lives making fun of the new addition of the olive branches.

3. How could I forget. Every country has a flag, and this is the perfect flag of Haverea.

So, Haverea is in the middle, surrounded by forests and mountains (the green), then the sea (the blue). Yes, Haverea is an island. But no one, including its own citizens, knows where in the world it is located.
