~Aurora's Pov~

Aaron, the man that Maggie and Sasha brought in said he had a camp close by and he wanted us to come back with him, he said we had to Audition to get in. I mean if he wasn't lying, this would be an amazing opportunity for us.. we haven't stayed in one place for longer than a day. We needed somewhere to settle down, I'm tired of moving around all the time.

Right now, I was with a small group looking for the vehicles he was talking about. We were walking down a road together, Oliver and I were behind the rest. We weren't speaking, we were just listening to what the others were saying. It was a comfortable silence. I looked over to him but he was looking over at the empty fields. I held his hand and he looked over to me, I gave him a soft smile and he returned it, "You're quiet," I said swinging his hand slightly. He shrugged, "I'm tired," He corrected. "It's hot." He sighed and continued looking forward.

"I know, I hope he's telling the truth." I said shaking my head, I looked forward too. "Me too." He said softly. I let go of his hand and hugged him. He scoffed hugging me too, "What're you doin' .." He said holding me back with a smile, still looking around us. "Hugging my boyfriend." I said. He laughed a bit, causing me to laugh too. "You look sad baby," I said softly as we walked. "I'm just tired, unlike you after we finished talking." he said as we pulled away. "Did you even sleep?" I asked. He nodded, "Eventually yeah." He said and put his hands on my shoulders as I continued to walk backwards. "Turn around before you fall, please." He said turning me around. "I don't want you to trip, You're makin' me nervous." He said. I smiled and Maggie turned around. "Keep up you two." She said stopping and waiting for us. "Yeah Mags," Oliver responded and took his hands off my shoulders. He put one hand on my back and we caught up to her.

" 'chonne how far away are we?" I asked. "Not sure, We should be close though." She said, "Not much longer, little soldier." Abraham said looking back at me. I smiled at him and he nodded slightly with the smallest smile. "Keep your guard up, eyes open. No distractions. Concentration is key." He said, turning around fully. I smiled looking over at him, he smiled too and kissed my cheek. "Hey- you heard him." I said pulling away from him. "No distractions, Olly." I said narrowing my eyes at him. He clicked his tongue and looked away from me. "Am I distracting you on this mission? Should I go to the front?" I asked. "We're not on a mission." He smiled. "Yeah we are, what would you call this?" I asked. "Not a mission." He said shaking his head.

"Let's find out from the soldier." I said and looked away from him towards Abraham. "Abraham?" I asked as we walked. "Yeah." He responded, "Is this considered a mission?" I asked. He turned around and walked backwards holding his gun. "Hell yeah we're on a mission." He said. I smiled and looked and looked at Oliver. "We're on a mission." I confirmed as Abraham turned back around. He sighed as Maggie turned around to look at us with a smile. "We're on a mission," She repeated. I raised my arms looking at Maggie, "Yes we are." I said. "Really? You're taking her side Mags? Geez.." He said looking at her. "Don't burst her bubble man," Glenn said, not turning around. "Which one." Oliver said. "Both of them." He said. I laughed looking at him. "You're outnumbered." I said, He looked at me with a straight face.

"Aww don't be mad. You should be happy we're on a mission together." I said putting my hands on his cheeks.

We ended up finding the cars he was talking about and bringing them back to the barn we were located at. We made a decision earlier and we were going to Alexandria. Right now, I was outside with my dad. He was checking out the car, I was sitting on the driver's seat looking at him as he just skimmed through some papers he found under the seat.

He looked up at me, "What is it?" He asked. I shook my head. "Mmm." I said looking ahead. "I know that look. What is it." He repeated shaking his head, "Nothing." I repeated. " 'rora." He said, I looked down at him. "Nothing! I swear." I laughed a bit, He kept looking at me and smiled the slightest. "I was just gonna ask you if you were.. Okay, with me and Oliver.." I said. He nodded, his smile faded the slightest but it was still there. "I was gonna try to find a way to tell you about it but," I shrugged, "There's never a right time. Figured I'd just spit it out." I said.

"I know, and I am." He said and looked back down at the papers. "I'm not blind sweetheart.. I noticed you two back at the prison." He said and put the papers back under the seat. "If I wasn't alright with it, you would've known a long time ago." He said standing up straight. I looked back up at him and nodded. He nodded too and put a hand on the side of my face then leaned down to kiss my forehead. I closed my eyes and he pulled away, brushing my cheek slightly then pulling away again. "Thank you," I said softly, looking at him. He gave me a soft smile. "I just want you to be happy Aurora.. I want you safe. You, Carl, Judith. I'd do anythin' for that.." He said.

I smiled and stood up, I hugged him and he hugged me back, "I know daddy." I replied. He put his hand on the back of my head and brushed it down with his palm. "I'd do anything for you too." I said, he smiled softly and kissed my head. I closed my eyes, "I love you, thank you for everything. I don't think you've heard it yet. We wouldn't be here without you." I said. "I love you too." He rested his cheek on my head and smiled again. "Listen.." He said ripping my arms. We pulled away and looked at each other. "When we're on our way there, I'm not gonna be with you in the RV. Carl and Judith are your responsibility, do you understand?" He said. I nodded, "Always.." I said. He nodded a bit and we looked over hearing Michonne make her way over to us. "Can I talk to your dad for a sec?" She asked. I nodded and looked at my dad, "Go on," He said, I nodded and leaned in, kissing his cheek. He did the same and put his hand on the side of my head. We pulled away and I walked by Michonne and she gave me a smile, putting her hand on my arm. I returned the smile and headed back inside.

"Ro."

I looked over to Kaleb sitting at the steps, leading to the upper level of the barn. I went over to him, "Yeah," I said. "We're really going?" He asked. I nodded, "We are.. Are you comin' with us?" I asked walking up the steps, I sat down next to him. "Do you want me to?" He asked. I nodded, " 'course I do.. You're part of the group." I said looking at him. He didn't look at me, he kept looking forward. I shook my head slightly. ".. do you not wanna be?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows. "I do, I just don't fit in." He explained. "You're the new addition, give it some time. They just have to warm up to you." I said looking forward too. "And how long's it gonna take?" He asked looking over to me. I looked back at him. "That depends on you, the only person you've talked to is Rosita and Carl." I said.

"Alright- in my defense.. Your dad is terrifying." I smiled at him, "Daryl looks like he's gonna kill me if I say the wrong thing." He said. I laughed a little looking at him. He laughed too looking at me. "He might.." I joked. "Ro that's not helping." He said, I laughed a bit again and so did he. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." I said. He shook his head. "I feel like if I try to talk to Maggie, Glenn would-" "He'd what?" I asked cutting him off. "I don't know." He said smiling at me, "Exactly, because you don't know any of them. Give it time." I said. He nodded, "Alright.." He said and looked down, "Were you thinking of leaving or what?" I asked. He shook his head, "No, Just trying to find my place." He said. I nodded looking away from him too.

"Would you rather be with us or at the Hospital?" I asked. "You know the answer. Why are you asking it." He shook his head looking at me, giving me a look. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Because, I wanna hear that you wanna be with us. Don't be a dick." I said nudged him a bit. "Ro, I wanna be with you." He said shaking his head. "As annoying as you are, I'd rather be here. Are you happy?" He asked. I gasped and laughed a bit bending down to hug my knees. "Shut up Kaleb." I said as he smiled at me.

"And yes, I am happy."
