"Oh-my-goodness!"

Nasa langit na ba ako? I shook my head many times and even slap my cheeks couple of times.

'Cause there's no fuckin' way I’m no in heaven seeing this mundane paradise.

Mundane paradise?

"Let's go Dork! --"

"I’ve seen this place!"

"You did?"

"Yeah! I've once been here."

"Mallory!" Tila nauubos na ang pasensiya nito sa akin.

"Mallory!" That caught my attention. I walk near her, that made her took back a couple of steps.

"And I think I saw you too."

"Where?"

"In my dreams--" she slaps my left cheek in a funny way and laugh.

"Oww! Sweetheart ditto…"She said as she then started walking towards somewhere.

That wasn't a joke, I don't do jokes! Tsk!

The portal that she made didn't even make me dizzy. Not like those scenes on books that I've read before, where when you enter a portal it usually made you dizzy, like half-drunk.

So there's no fuckin' way I'm off my mind!

"Swear! I've seen this, and you before!"

"Yeah! Yeah!" She countered back.”In your dreams…”

And after minutes of walking, we finally have reached our destination. It was a fancy house, placed right in the middle of this mundane paradise.

The house was coated with moss but in a good way. It also has porch, and the house was made by woods.

It was so fascinating, seeing a house like this, surrounded by peculiar blooming flowers.

"I'm home."

My gaze was wafted back to her, after hearing what she had whispered. She's looking at the house with so much longing within those glowing orbs of her.

"Let's get in?" Tumango lang naman ito bilang tugon, ‘tsaka nanguna na sa pagpasok. She gladly opened the door for the both of us.

"Whoa!"

"Don't tell me you've seen this too before?" She uttered mocking me.

Pinaningkitan ko lang siya ng tingin bago tumuloy sa pagpasok. The insides don’t justify the size of the house when we're outside.

It was spacious.

From the wooden floor and walls, up to those antiques stuffs. The living, dinning and kitchen room, all in all, it's astonishing.

"Thought, its home? But why you're alone?"

She sat up on the couch and breathes deeply. "It is!" She uttered. “For me, it’s a home.”

I sat up next to her, still my gaze on her. "Home, is where family are. Do you have any?"

"Yeah! I actually have too much! Too much! That home feels no longer home. It's so suffocating being there, and I don't like that kind of feeling, I don't wanna be caged! So I run away from home, and here I am! I've found a real one, but no worries, I'm no longer alone!" She stated happily. "I have you, right, Sweetheart?"

And that made me laugh. I was surprise to witness that she laughs along with me too.

Yea, Sweetheart!

Natigil lang kami, when she suddenly stood up. "You can wait here, or roam outside. I'll just cook food for us."

"You need help?" I offered but she resist. She then went in the kitchen. How I hope she's not like Frondo, when it comes to cooking.

I made my way out and sat on the rockin' chair at the porch. As I closed my eyes, soothing tune of falls rush in my ears, like a lullaby. And there I fell in deep slumber.

"M-mallory?" Heard someone whispered while gently tapping my shoulder. "Hey! Mallory, foods ready!" She then shouts when I didn't move. And heard her went in, not waiting me.

Ughhh! That woman! Do not know what patience is!

"Mallo--"

"Comin' Sweetheart!" I then stood up don't wanna hear her shouts again. As soon as I entered, delicious smell of foods welcomed me.

The nearer I get into the dinning room, the delicate the smell becomes.

And when I saw what's placed on the table to where that delicate smell is coming from.

"The hell!"

"The hell with you! Just sit so that we can start now! My tummy's aching already!" She growled in complaint.

"Oh! Come on! I don't eat grass! And there's no fuckin' way, you'll ever make me eat one." I blurted out and was about to turn my back on her, when she forcefully made me sat on the chair. She even leaned close to me.

"Zannah!" Fuck! That was supposed to be a shout but her name came out of my lips, whisperingly. Fuck her closeness.

"Number 1 thing that you should learn is on how to eat leafy foods such as vegetables; it should register in that stomach of yours the process of digesting it! Foods that have lives, like meat, will just provoked your demon to eagerly have some, and soon enough it will start to demand foods other than that." She muttered, finally granting the space we had lost ago.

She went back on her sit, "So, if you didn't want that to happen. Better we start eating now."

She sticked some tiny grass with her fork and move it up near my mouth. I forcefully open my mouth and swallowed it without chewing.

"Mallory! Nguyain mo!" She exclaimed again.

"But you said that the process of digesting leafy foods, should register in my stomach. When in fact the process of digestion, starts in mouth you should have states it clearly."

"Mallory!!!"

And there that shout again…
