I was awakened by the bells banging rings it's time to be up for today’s routine. I sat up, massaging my nape, still my eyes half closed.

As things went clear, I gazed beside me. And there I saw no sign of her. Nakaalis na siguro.

I was about to go back to sleep, when I heard someone's banging my door outside. With heavy steps, I went out of my room and saw things, at my living room, in good conditions.
Like I’ve done nothing on here hours ago,

The broken mirrors and blood's stains were now gone. She surely too, can't stand seeing mess.

Nagtungo na ako sa pinto, at saka ito binuksan. And there, Frondo welcomed me with furious eyes and knitted forehead.

"Good mornin'" I greeted.

"What's good in the morning?!" He pushed me aside and went inside.

As soon as I closed the door, he started screaming.

"Ano 'to! Huh!" He blurted out, handing me an envelop,

"Ikaw may hawak, ako tatanungin mo?"

"I'm not in the mood, to joke around! Dude! You tell me, what's got into your mind that you've filed a leave?"

Napataas ang kilay ko sa sinabi nito. What?!

"I don't know what you're saying! Or what else you're up to!" I countered back, I walk my way in the kitchen and took some glass of water and headed back to where he is.

"Drink it! Nauuhaw ka lang siguro, wala ka bang tubig sa room mo? At binubulabog mo ak-"

"I'm serious man! The head mistress just handed me this freakin' envelope, saying I must need to give it to you. But along my way here, I got curious so I opened it. And you know what I’ve just read?"

I remained silent so that he can go on.

"It says here, that you've plan of leaving for a week. And you know what's more fuckin' crazy? The reason why you've filed is just to breathe some fresh air! Damn man! That's not even a valid fuckin' reason! But hell! Madame just willingly considered it and grants you the seal of departure!"

Oh my hella goodness!

Did i've heard him clear and right?

I took the envelope and read what was written there. And he's damn right!

Wala akong natatandaang nag file ako nito? Shit!
"At ngayon mo din balak umalis! Ano bang nangyayari sayo?" That made me looked back into him.

Ano nga bang nangyayari sa akin?

Matagal akong nanahimik at nagmuni.

"I don't know man, I guess. I do need a leave." Nanlumo ang mukha niya, matapos kong bitiwan ang mga salitang iyan.

He turned his back on me and walks near the door he's disappointed I can feel it.

"Frondo?"

He looked back, but he stayed to where he is.

"I just remembered, hindi mo nga pala ako kaibigan, para pagkaabalahang sabihan sa mga nais mong gawin. Enjoy your week of vacation! Go on breathe some fresh air, Haunt Daven Mallory!"

After that, ay umalis na nga ito.

I took a robe, and wore it. Not minding what ever reaction I'll get outside. Naglakad lang ako, palabas ng dormitoryo. Everyone's now staring at me. I took the path to where her dorm was.

I was totally and fuckingly aware, sa mga malalagkit na tinging natatanggap ko ngayon.

Fuck it!

Sino ba naman ang hindi titingin, if a damn hot good looking man, is walking along the hallway wearing nothing but, a boxer short covered by a bath robe?

Blame it to that rude woman!

I knocked many times on her door, but no one's answering.

"Open the goddamn door, Zannah!!!" And she did.

"Ano bang problema mo? Kay aga-aga, nambubulabog k-" she shallowed the last letter of her word, when she realize who she's talking to. "Oh! Sweetheart! Where have you been? Come in, let's do it inside!" She recovered and even wink at me. Tsk!

Walang preno kung magsalita, salaulang babae!

Pagsarado palang niya ng pinto, "Tell me, have you done this?" I asked handing her the fuckin' envelope.

"What is this?" Sagot nito saka kinuha mula sa kamay ko ang envelope as she opened it and read what was written.

"Hmmm!"

"Hmmm? Seriously? 'Yan lang reaction mo? You hella just did something out my consent! Tell me! Why do you always make things hard for me?"

"I just did you a favor!"

"Fuck that favor! I didn't even ask for it!"

"It's not as if I'm asking for a thank you! Dork!"

"Damn!" There, I screamed! I'm a discreet person, but when it comes to her, I always lost my temper.

We stayed silent for a couple of minutes, just staring in each other eyes. Trying to figure out each other words that can't be tell, directly.

When I've realize that she won't back down. I sat on her couch, leaning my head on the backrest, staring up at the ceiling.

"You know that you're not human, right?" I didn't answer her, and stayed silent.

"Mallory, take this thing as a favor made by me! I can't just let you roam around the campus, with that untamed demon!" That made me looks back at her.

"Now, now that you've tasted blood. Do you know what will happen next? Do you have any idea what would it takes you to do, just to taste some again?"

"What do you mean?"

"You can't still handle it, the thirst, soon enough you'll get thirsty again! At ayaw kong mapunta sa puntong magkakalat ka na! See? I'm doing you a favor! What I did is for you, for us to tame that demon living inside of you!"

"Just one week, one whole week Mallory! I promise I won't bother you again!" She added. Where the hell is the rude woman, I'm used of getting irritated with. Hindi ako sanay sa kausap ko ngayon! "Just this one hella week," Her eyes scream so much sincerity.

“Why are you doing this? Why are you helping me?”

"Those bloodshot eyes, those sharp fangs I've never seen one before, but you. And I don't know what will happen if they... If someone's finds out that there's a vampire roaming around here at the mortal world!"

Vampire?

"I'm a vampire?"

"Nope, you're a Dork."

I glared at her. This woman!

"But, if I do am a vampire, what are you then?"

"Pack your things, I'll show you who I am!" She answered with her brow's up and crossed arms.

There, that's the woman I'm used to be with.
