Jueun told me she was starting to get thirsty and asked if I would accompany her to the kitchen for a glass of water. Of course, Hana slirped at the mentioning of the word 'thirsty' because of her dirty mind. I rolled my eyes, throwing the nearest pillow at her. Mi-Cha let out a laugh. I left the both of them in the room, following an amused Jueun down the stairs.

"I can't believe Hana sometimes," she chuckled.

I slowly shook my head back and fourth. "You and me both."

I turned around the corner into the kitchen to see Johnny at the counter, making a sandwich.

"What are you doing?" Jueun asked her brother pointing at his sandwich.

"What does it look like?" he replied, casually adding lettuce to one of the slices of bread.

"You can't just randomly start making a sandwich in someone's house, Johnny!"

"Her parents were making one when I came to grab my phone I left down here. They told me I could have one. My goodness, Jueun, chill."

"Oh, it's fine," I added, smiling. "You can help yourself anytime."

Johnny paused from spreading mayo on the bread to glance between us. He shrugged, then continued.

"You know, we have a Dance Dance Revolution machine in the basement. I bet I could beat you," I told Johnny, leaning up against the counter. A smug smile tugged at the corner of my mouth.

He scoffed, not looking away from his sandwich. "Yeah, right."

     "You want a challenge?"

"No thanks. I have a birthday party to get back to." Johnny pointed towards the stairs with his knife.

Just then, what sounded like a stampede, came down the stairs.

"I heard Dance Dance Revolution and challenge," Jisung started. "I'm in."

The rest of the group agreed.

I slowly turned to face Johnny. "What do you say?" I then brought my gaze around to everyone. "DDR tournament?"

"DDR!?" I heard the voice of Hana. She came flying down the stairs at the speed of lightning. Mi-Cha followed, chuckling as Hana nearly tripped.

"We're having a Dance Dance Revolution tournament," Mark told them. "Wanna join?"

"Of course," Hana immediantly replied. "Is that even a question? I feel bad for whoever's going to face me. DDR is my one and only talent."

We all made our way to the basement. The way we settled who goes against who is by drawing names out of Chenle's cap. First is the elimination round.

Hana VS Johnny

Renjun VS Mark

Chenle VS Jeno

Jisung VS me

Jaemin VS Mi-Cha

Haechan VS Jueun

I thought for sure Hana was finally going to be beaten by Johnny, but to all our surprises, or not-surprises, Hana ended out way over Johnny's score. Johnny's eyes widened as he stared at the screen.

Everyone began to crack up, especially Haechan, who said, "Wow, John, you were beaten by your sister's best friend!"

"Shut up, Donghyuck," Johnny said, stepping down from the machine.

"Donghyuck?" I questioned, unsure of why Johnny called him that.

"It's Haechan's real name," Mark explained.

I nodded, able to understand now, but still wondering why he's called Haechan when his name is perfectly fine.

Next up was Renjun and Mark. It was fairly close, but Mark ended up winning. Chenle and Jeno stepped up to the plate. I already knew just from Jisung talking about his friends that Jeno was a really good dancer. Him and Jisung took classes together. During the round, Chenle's excitement built up as he let loose some dolphin squeals and screams. Jueun couldn't contain laughter from his squeaks.

"That's the best laugh I've ever heard," she told him as Chenle sat down, defeated by Jeno. He let out another dolphin giggle just for her to let out another laugh.

Obviously, I was horrible at the game, leaving Jisung to beat me by a landslide. I still had fun, even if I lost the first round against my brother. Mi-Cha was hesitant to go up, but Jaemin gave her a warm smile and a "good luck." Mi-Cha finally got up to the machine.

When it started, she was messing up completely. Jaemin was completing his with ease. A little through the song and Mi-Cha was getting frustrated with how her's was tuning out. All of a sudden, Jaemin slid his foot over to her side, pressing some of the buttons on the platform.

"What are you doing?" Johnny asked.

"I'm helping," Jaemin replied, controlling his DDR pad and half of her's. He seemed to be having fun with it.

After the song was over with, Jaemin gave her a high-five. "Good team work," he told her, even if he still ended up winning. Somehow, he managed to almost even out the scores.

Mi-Cha shyly smiled. "You too," she replied, then adverted her eyes to the floor.

The last two of this round was Haechan against Jueun. Jueun decided to play unfair since she sucked at the game, and Haechan could actually dance. She started shoving him away as she stepped on her buttons.

"Jueun," Johnny started disapprovingly. "If you're going to play unfair, then you have to shove harder."

"Oh, come on," Haechan objected, cracking a smile despite his challenge. Jueun laughed, going in to shove him away again. Haechan lightly swatted her hand away. Even with all the distraction, Haechan ended up wining. Now for round two.

Hana VS Haechan:

Not even close. Hana left the platform cheering herself on, as Haechan, once humorous self, was taken aback.

"Now look who got beaten," Johnny teased.

Mark VS Jisung:

This one was closer. Jisung ended up beating Mark by just a little bit.

Jaemin VS Jeno:

Another close one, but Jeno pulled through.

The top three decided on playing rock, paper, scissors to see who goes first. Jisung and Jeno were chosen by fate to go first.

"I'm betting on Jeno," Jaemin openly said.

"No, no," Hana disagreed. "I bet Jisung. Let's put actual money on this. Ten dollars?"

     "You're on," Jaemin challenged.

Everyone was on edge for who would win the game, along with who would win the bet. Hana was cheering on Jisung as Jaemin cheered on Jeno. The round came to an end to reveal the winner as...

     Jisung.

"That's right, sucker!" Hana rubbed her win in Jaemin's face. She gave Jisung a celebratory fist bump. Jaemin let out a defeated chuckle as he pulled a ten-dollar bill out of his wallet.

The last round was starting: Jisung VS Hana.

I honestly think this will be the round Hana loses her streak. However, her face showed complete confidence, or should I say confiDANCE?

The dance came to an end. We all leaned in to see the score we've been waiting for. The winner was:

     Hana.

She jumped up and off the machine with her hands in the air. "BETTER BELIEVE IT, SON!"

Jisung tilted his head back and groaned with frustration.

"Good job trying to get vengeance for us," Haechan chuckled. The scores were pretty close, but Hana definitely won.

"Whatever," Jisung hopped off. "It doesn't even require real dancing skills. Anyone can be good if they have the patterns memorized."

I looked over to Hana, who stopped dancing around from her success. She heard his comment, and almost seemed hurt by it. It was a pretty sore loser comment.
