Mi-Cha's legs collapsed under her. Jaemin was sure to be right there and catch her before she hit the ground. We crowded around to help, but Jaemin was already picking her up.

"We have to get into that wall," Jaemin demanded with a deadly serious expression.

I puffed out my cheeks while slowly blowing air threw my mouth. My stomach clenched at the thought of pulling out a rotted skeleton from the wall. One that a spirit is attached to.

Johnny was the first in the room. He traced along the lines, looking for a good middle place to start. Once he discovered his target, Johnny threw his fist at the wall.

"Be careful," Jueun told him. "You've already hurt yourself enough tonight."

The first couple throws didn't make a dent. A couple of the other guys, Jeno and Mark, tried to help by kicking it in, which started to speed the process. Johnny ended up switching to using his foot as well since his knuckles had started to bleed.

A small hole was formed after Jeno planted in a hard one. The kicks stopped, and the three boys began ripping at the edges. There was a stiff silence in the room when we discovered legs in the growing hole. A pair of light blue jeans, owned by Hana.

The tearing of the wall suddenly got faster. Next revealed a red flannel, buttoned up all the way. I wanted to scream out his name in joy.

"Holy sh-" Johnny started, but stopped when Jisung's body limply fell out from behind the wall. His eyes were closed, and he was covered in dust and cobwebs. I rushed to my brother's side, in utter shock to have discovered him in this way.

"Jisung!" I cried. "Are you awake? Can you hear me?"

I got no reply, not even a twitch. I stroked his dust-covered hair and then pulled him onto my lap. I looked back up to Johnny, Jeno, and Mark. "Keep opening up that wall. The skeleton has to be in there." My eyes traveled back down to my unconscious brother. "She must have dragged him in the wall as a way of revenge."

"Well, he wasn't the only one," Johnny coughed.

A horrible stench hit my nostrils. I covered my nose with my sleeve, scrunching up my face. Another body was revealed hidden behind the wall. It was a rotting corpse, defiantly not female. They still had a jacket, jeans, and a beanie.

"What the hell!" Jueun exclaimed behind her shirt that was pulled over her face.

Jeno poked his head behind the wall, shining his light around. He had his shirt over his face as well. When Jeno came back out, his eyebrows were pushed together, as if he was confused.

"There are no boards on the bottom of the other side of the post to act like a ledge," he patted a piece of wood behind the wall, "only a thin connecting piece. If the skeleton was there, it would have fallen down to..." Jeno poked his head back, just briefly. "It looks like it could stretch all the way down to the... um... basement." Jeno finished out his statement sounding on edge. I don't blame him; I'm completely terrified.

Johnny bent down to pick up a black rectangle I recognized as Jisung's phone.

"That must be what we heard in the walls," Haechan pointed out. "His phone must've fallen."

"I'm gonna vomit," Renjun commented. He rested his hand on his knees, bending over.

      "Not in here!" Chenle cried.

Mi-Cha gasped, waking back up. She coughed a couple times before wiping the blood off her face.

      Jaemin sighed in relief.

"What happened?" Mi-Cha groaned, holding the side of her head. She rubbed at her temples. Jaemin kneeled down to the ground so Mi-Cha could sit on her own.

"You passed out," Jaemin told her.

Mi-Cha's face scrunched in disgust. "It smells awful in here."

"We think the ghost tried hiding people in the walls as revenge," Mark informed her. "But the skeleton seems to have fallen to the basement."

Mi-Cha nodded, starting to stand up. She was shaky on her feet. "The basement, right. Let's go there."

Our eyes lingered on her, shocked at the decision.

"Mi-Cha," Hana started, "weren't you scared to go in it before? You were so determined to stay away."

Mi-Cha shifted her gaze around the room. "I just want to leave."

I continued to stroke Jisung's hair, narrowing my eyes. "Okay... Let's go take care of this skeleton." Haechan helped me lift up Jisung. One arm slung around my shoulders, the other around his. Since Jisung had so much height, Johnny had to take my spot.

"Geez, this kid better stop growing," Haechan commented. "He's already passed me, but now he's going to catch up to Johnny."

"So, how are we exactly going to burn the body, when we can't get out?" Mark brought up.

"We'll find some way out," Johnny told us. "We can still try and push whatever is blocking the door to the garage out of the way."

      We started down the stairs.

"Are we going to have to carry the skeleton outside?" Renjun asked, an expression showing discomfort.

"I have a blanket in my bag," Jeno told us. He swung his bag to the front and unzipped the pocket. Sure enough, he pulled out a blanket.

"Did you happen to get your bag from Mary Poppins?" Hana asked, jokingly. "How are you possibly holding these things in there?"

Jeno shrugged. "I'm good at folding?"

Johnny stopped, causing Haechan to as well. "Where is the door to the basement?" Johnny asked.

"Take a left, and it should be the second door on the right," I answered.

This is going to be the first time I've ever fully gone down to the basement. My parents hardly have even been down it themselves. My spine crawled just thinking about it.

"Should we leave Jisung up here with a couple people to watch him?" Haechan suggested.

      "I'll stay," Hana volunteered.

"I mean, that was a given," Haechan joked. "Who else?"

"I'll stay." Mark walked over to take Jisung's limp body, almost falling over before he caught himself. Hana took the other side so they could cautiously put him on the floor. Hana stood back up and looked in my direction.

      "Be safe," she told me.

"Hey, you too." I wagged my finger at her before turning towards the others down the stairs. Her voice starting again cause me to turn back around.

"I hope you don't find it weird I like your brother." Hana chuckled nervously and brought all her hair to one side of her shoulders.

I laughed. "I have no room to judge; I've been there before." I looked down at Jisung. "You be good to my brother, okay?"

"Why do we sound so serious?" Hana covered her smiling face. "We're making it sound like we won't be seeing each other again." Her face straightened out as if she was just hit with a realization of what could happen. "Because we will see each other again."

      I nodded. "Of course."

My feet numbly carried me to the stairs. I left the door open for an easy escape, just in case things got messy.

"Why are there two doors?" Renjun asked when we reached the bottom of the stairs. "There's one at the top and one at the bottom."

I shrugged. "It's just how it was designed.

Johnny pushed open the bottom door. A draft of cold, musty air wafted in our direction. It smelled heavily of earth and mold mixed with drywall.

"Now, to find this body," I muttered. My body jumped at the noise of a creaking door, followed by the click of a latch. I shined my flashlight behind me to see Mi-Cha at the closed door. "What are you doing? We were going to leave it open."

Mi-Cha turned back around to face us. I almost dropped my phone.

Blood ran out of her nose, cascading down passed her lips, and dripped off the end of her chin.
