"Considering I'm one of them."

"One of them?! Your....you, I~" "I'm gay Virgil." I stood there stunned. "It's hard ya know? In the time period I was in I could never be my true self. Never once could I even compliment a guy without getting odd looks." I nodded, finally thinking what to say. "So, so you? You what? How could you~" "I was killed in a duel. You can guess what my argument was for." He died for them. I let a small smile make its way across my face. "Thank you." I whispered lowly. He nodded, patting my shoulder. "Of course. After all I'd be a crappy prince if I didn't stand up for whats right, no?" I nodded wordlessly as he smiled softly. "Look just don't tell the others? How Logan reacted, I just don't think they'd understand." With that he made his way back to his room.

The next morning Thomas rushed back out to work, having to get to a callback himself, whilst I and the others went back to what we always did. Try and make a home out of this place. Roman was upstairs, his facing singing heard throughout the house, Logan was presumably glued to his desk upstairs. Once again leaving Patton and I to our own accord. I awkwardly, alone in the living room, just watching the world go by. Patton himself washing dishes as Thomas thrifted some antique ones from his time so he wouldn't get bored. Washing dishes apparently fun to Patton? I believe it. But yesterday. Yesterday was a lot.

"Kiddo?" I heard Patton call. I hummed, sinking back into the couch and floating my way over to the kitchen. "Yea pops?" He slowed to a stop, the dish soap being squeezed out from the yellow sponge. "I..." he trailed off turning slowly to look at me. His eyes were glossy and mouth in a wide yet genuine smile. "I remember." My eyes widened as I matched his smile "Really?!" "Yes!" We both began giggling like idiots, jumping in a hug with one another. "Patton that's amazing!" He laughed, "You'd think so wouldn't you?" His laughter fell as he looked me dead in the eyes. I could only stare back as the room took on an eerie tone. "It's him." Him? "Who's him?" He just shook his head, looking back to down to his fiddling hands.

"Just someone I didn't expect."

Later that night, I couldn't get my mind off what Patton had said. Someone he knew? That would be great! It means his unfinished business could be solved. That he could go....where ever people go. I wouldn't know of course. My unfinished business I know, but what to do with it? I mean,
