(I'm posting this message in this chapter of this book, and in the next chapter in my book TM, sorry if you see it twice)

Hi! So, if you are following me you've probably seen some weird and random things on my message board lately because of wattpads new update. I've been counting down until today, which is my birthday! A lot of people seemed interested to know what I was counting down to, so I wanted to make it a little more exciting than just saying that. So, that's why you're getting this update today. I am still on a break, which I again am sorry for, things are still busy but I did want to do this for you guys and I hope that you enjoy it. Anyways, thanks for reading, and thanks to the people who have already wished me a happy birthday today haha. Enjoy the new chapter!

"That's a rude way to introduce yourself to someone you've just met," Logan mentioned, Roman still searching for the source of the voice. "I do have a name, and I'm actually a person. Just... a dead one. But you should know that after all of that eavesdropping you were doing."

"This... This isn't real." Roman shook his head, looking back to Patton as Virgil. "Right? Please tell me I'm imagining this. You-you're the crazy ones, not me!"

"Oh yeah, we're the crazy ones. We were just trying to help out our friend, you're the one obsessing over other people's private business!" Virgil snapped, crossing his arms and glaring at Roman. "I mean really, what's worse? Us trying to solve the murder of our friend, or you, literally stalking us?"

"I was curious! I didn't think you guys were actually hiding a real ghost!" Roman argued, the two of them going back and forth for a while. Patton stepped in between the two of them, trying to stop the arguing.

"Guys, its too late now anyways!" He shouted over them, both of them stopping to look at him. "He already knows about Logan, so there's no point in getting mad at him now."

"He still stalked and harassed us! You don't think he should feel even a little bad about that?" Virgil insisted, and Patton frowned.

"Well..." He mumbled, glancing over at Roman, both of them waiting for Patton's answer. "That... that wasn't the nicest thing to do," Patton answered, seeing Roman scowl at the response.

"I didn't do anything wrong!" Roman insisted, and once again the arguing started up between him and Virgil. Both of them talked over each other, their loud bickering blocking out Patton entirely as he tried to tell them to stop fighting, that it wasn't getting them anywhere.

It was only when Roman felt someone touching his chest to push him away from Virgil that he remembered anything about the ghost. Roman yelped, falling backwards and nearly falling over completely. However, Logan had caught his arm before he could, keeping him pulled up. Roman took a minute to process what had just happened, nervously straightening up as Virgil and Patton watched him, Patton seeming relieved while Virgil just looked like he wanted to push Roman over again.

"This is actually real," Roman mumbled, looking in front of him to where he assumed Logan still was. "There's an actual ghost in the school... holy shit."

"Yes, but again I do have a name." Logan said, and Roman nodded, trying to remember.

"Right.. uh, Logan?" He asked, remembering Patton and Virgil bringing up the name before. He brought his hand up carefully, pausing and looking in front of him curiously. "Can I..?"

"Why don't I just become visible instead, so you can see me?" Logan suggested, not too keen on being touched by someone he barely knew.

"You can do that?" Roman questioned, and instead of answering Logan decided to just go ahead and start. Roman watched with wide eyes as Logan began to form in front of him, grinning to himself.

"This... you're so cool," Roman muttered, looking Logan over after he had fully formed in front of him. Virgil rolled his eyes, finding Roman incredibly stupid in his excitement. However upon noticing the faint smirk Logan gave in response his anger faded, feeling the tiniest bit like he had been betrayed. He huffed and turned away from the pair, Patton quickly noticing and frowning.

"What's wrong?" He mumbled, ignoring Roman in the background as he continued to talk about how cool Logan was.

"Nothing," Virgil spoke too quickly, turning for a moment to glare at Logan and Roman. Patton followed his eyes, thinking for a moment before smiling.

"Oh," He stifled a laugh, covering his mouth. "I get it."

"What?" Virgil turned to him, defensive. "What do you get? I-I'm just..."

"It's okay, Virgil." Patton muttered back, still smiling knowingly. "You don't have to explain yourself. I get it."

Virgil felt his face burn, crossing his arms and shaking his head at his friend. His attention was unfortunately drawn back to Roman as he remembered something, turning to Patton and Virgil.

"Wait! What was it you guys were talking about before? Solving Logan's murder, right?" Roman asked, seeming excited. Virgil hated him more for that. What was so exciting about solving their friends murder? It wasn't something that was supposed to be fun.

"Why do you care?" Virgil snapped before anyone else could answer Roman, Patton frowning at him disappointedly.

"I care because I have a way to help you a little bit." Roman grinned, Logan and Patton looking interested while Virgil just rolled his eyes. Logan opened his mouth to speak, but Virgil cut him off.

"Yeah right! Why would you even want to help us? It doesn't make any sense, and none of us are going to trust you." He said, believing that Logan and Patton would still be on his side. However, this did not appear to be the case when Logan looked at Virgil, disapproving frown on his lips making Virgil shrink down into his hoodie, feeling embarrassed and even more betrayed than before.

"Actually, I would like to hear what he has to say first." Logan turned to Roman, raising an eyebrow at him. "If it's actually something useful it would be better to hear him out than to ignore him entirely. So, what is it Roman?"

"Thank you!" Roman grinned smugly over at Virgil, who was ignoring him completely in favor of making sure he didn't cry, staring off to the side and glaring at the wall as if it was the cause of his distress. Roman frowned, deciding to ignore him as well as he continued on talking to Logan and Patton. "Well, you mentioned a few different suspects earlier. Sebastian Lang, that was one of them, right?"

"Yes, do you know something about him?" Logan asked quickly, and Roman nodded.

"I mean... I don't know if he's the one that did it, but I know where to find him." Roman explained. "I do have to ask though... are you sure you know what you're getting into? Cause... Look, I'm dumb, and I do a lot of reckless things sometimes but confronting a possible murderer? That's unbelievably stupid."

"I know that if I were there to confront him it would not be so dangerous. No one can hurt me, and... being a ghost does have some benefits." Logan said, demonstrating what he meant by gesturing to a bookshelf. The three loving students turned to see what he was talking about, Roman grinning when he saw a few books move from the shelf. They hovered up and down for a moment, before carefully moving back to their spots on the shelf. "I believe I could help defend you, although there is a problem we would have to work around. I am unable to leave the school."

"That is definitely a problem," Roman frowned, wondering if there was any way he could get Sebastian to come to the school-or any way to get Logan out of it.

"Wait, wait," Virgil spoke up again, feeling embarrassed again as Logan turned to look at him along with Patton and Roman. "H-how do you even know this guy anyways? He should be older than you, and not in school anymore."

"Oh, right!" Roman shook his head at himself, only then realizing he left that part out. "He's a friend of my dad's. They work together, and he comes around our house sometimes. He actually is supposed to come over for dinner with our family this weekend, before he leaves for a few months on a long business trip."

Virgil, Patton, and Logan paused, each of them looking at each other worriedly. Virgil was the first to break their awkward silence, looking over at Roman with a frown. "So basically... we have one more day left to figure out how we're going to either get him to the school, or get Logan to him, and to figure out how exactly we're going to confront him about murder before he leaves and we don't get another chance?"

"I... oh." Roman mumbled as he frowned, their concern finally making sense.

"Well..." Patton began, looking nervous still but wanting to be positive for everyone else. "I guess we'd better get to work then."
