Chapter One

Vix sat in the middle of the living room writing lyrics and then scribbling them out while Ren turned his guitar making the creative process harder. However, the sound of an out-of-tune guitar was the least of Vix's problems when Azami came running in yelling about The Ninja needing help and how Morro was back.

Vix looked up from their lyrics, a mix of surprise and disbelief crossing their face. "Morro? But how?" Ren paused with his guitar, exchanging a puzzled glance with Vix. Azami continued, "Yeah, he's apparently causing trouble! We need to go talk to him, Vix!"

Without a moment's hesitation, Vix set aside their writing, standing up. "Alright, let's not waste any more time, you know how he can get." The bittersweet feeling from Morro's departure returned, but this time, it carried a feeling of dread.

"Wait! Who the heck is Morro!?" Ren yelled after the two.

Vix turned to Ren with a serious expression, "Morro is... was, I suppose, someone from our past. He left a while ago, and now, apparently, he's back. We need to go handle this." Without another word, Vix followed Azami out of the apartment leaving Ren even more confused than he already was.

The air crackled with tension as Vix and Azami hurried towards the location that Wu had given them to meet up at. Vix couldn't shake the conflicting emotions resurfacing with Morro's unexpected return. They hoped for a resolution, but the fear of what Morro might have become lingered in their mind. Sensing her friend's internal struggle Azami started gathering flowers and weaving them together into a flower crown while humming.

As they approached the meeting point, Vix couldn't help but appreciate Azami's attempt to bring a bit of calm to the tense situation. The flower crown, a delicate contrast to the impending confrontation, offered a glimpse of solace in the face of the unknown.

"Hey, what song were you humming back there?" Vix asked as the duo sat on a log waiting for the ninja.

"Oh it was just a lullaby that Morro's mom used to sing before...well you know," Azami replied, temporarily being transported back to a time when she and Morro were much younger.

Vix nodded a touch of nostalgia in their eyes. "It's strange how memories resurface in moments like these. Hey, remember when he almost fell off that cliff trying to prove he could fly." The happy memories a nice distraction from the current situation.

"Yeah, he was always a bit impulsive, wasn't he?" Azami chuckled, finishing the flower crown and placing it gently on Vix's head. "There, now you're ready to face Morro, nostalgia and all."
As they awaited The Ninja's arrival, Vix couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions – the weight of the past and the uncertainty of the future. The melody of memories played in their mind, a bittersweet soundtrack to the impending reunion with Morro.

"Alright you two, Wu said you guys know Morro the best so how do we stop him?" Kai said rather impatiently as the Bounty landed.

"Well, first we need to know what exactly he's doing, Kai," Vix said, having very little patience with the fire master.

"He has gone down a very dark path I'm afraid. Not only has he possessed Lloyd to try and become the Green Ninja," Wu explained placing a comforting hand on said boy's shoulder "But he's also Using the Realm Crystal to summon the Preement and curse Ninjago." Vix looked over at the elderly man, his face shadowed with regret and sadness.

Vix sighed, a heavy realization settling in. "Morro's actions have consequences that could affect everyone. We need to find a way to stop him from reaching the Realm Crystal."

Azami added with a hint of desperation, "Maybe we can reach out to the side of Morro that's still in there, buried beneath the darkness. We know him better than anyone; there has to be a way to bring him back. Besides I just know cursing Ninjago was an order he was given, no way he actually wants to do that."

Kai, still visibly agitated, muttered, "Well, we better figure it out fast because I sure as hell don't want to be living in a ghost world."

"I don't care what we do, as long as I get to make this jerk pay for what he did to Lloyd," Nya added, her anger unmistakable.

"Don't mind her, she's dealing with some personal stuff. But she's right there needs to be consequences to his actions," Cole added, noticing the despondent look that Azami had.

"Look Azami, I know how you feel and I know you want to hope for the best but let's face it there's no talking to him. We're going to help stop him and then move on with our lives." Vix said, grabbing the flower crown off their head finally noticing that it was made of the wildflowers that Morro would always attach to the love letters that he would always hide around the tea shop.

As Vix held the flower crown, memories of Morro's gestures flooded their mind. The bittersweet realization of the contrast between the past and the present weighed heavily. "Let's focus on stopping him first, and then we can deal with the aftermath."

Azami nodded in agreement, determination replacing the initial hint of desperation. "We'll find a way to save him, even if it means confronting the darkness within him. And if we can't, we'll stop him from causing any more harm."

"So uh, what happened?" Azami asked, referring to Cole's new ghostly appearance.
Cole sighed, looking down at his translucent hands. "Long story short, I didn't make it out of Master Yang's temple fast enough. It's a whole thing, but I'm okay..ish, and I guess I come with some... ghostly perks. Let's focus on Morro for now, though."

"Sorry, I didn't realize how sensitive that was. I was just trying to ease the tension."
"No need to apologize, Azami. It's been a unique journey for all of us. Now, let's concentrate on dealing with Morro," Vix replied, appreciating Azami's attempt to lighten the mood.

As the group continued their discussion, the tension in the air was palpable. The impending confrontation with Morro loomed, and each member of the team carried their own burdens and motivations. The path ahead was uncertain, but they were determined to face the challenges together, guided by the hope of a resolution that could save Ninjago.
