Chapter Four

"So, how is having Morro as a roommate going?" Lloyd asked over the video chat watching in amusement as Azami struggled to place all her loose drawings back in a folder. Looking over her shoulder Azami gave her cousin a glare as she shoved another paper back in its place. "What do you think, he's the one that caused this mess."

Lloyd chuckled, enjoying the playful banter with Azami. "Well, maybe he's just adding a touch of chaos to your life. Keeps things interesting, right?"

Azami sighed, finally managing to organize her papers. "Interesting is an understatement. Morro has this habit of leaving his stuff all over the place. It's like living with a tornado sometimes."

"Ironic, you know with him being the master of wind. Anyway, it should hopefully only be a few more days, and then you don't have to worry about him anymore." Azami nodded, a sense of relief washing over her. "Yeah, I can't wait for things to go back to normal. No offense to Morro, but our apartment feels like a war zone right now."

Lloyd leaned in, his expression turning more serious. "I appreciate you and Vix doing this, Azami. I know it's not easy, especially with your history with Morro. But once the renovations are done, we'll figure out a more permanent solution for him."

Azami sighed, running her hand through her hair. "I just hope he doesn't leave a trail of chaos behind when he leaves. And speaking of chaos, how's everything on your end? No new villains causing trouble?"

Lloyd's expression darkened slightly. "It's been quiet, but you never know when a new threat might emerge. We're always on our toes. But hey, enough about that. How's Vix handling the Morro situation?"

Azami's eyes shifted, a mix of frustration and concern in her gaze. "Vix is not thrilled, to say the least. Morro's mind games are getting under their skin, and I can see the toll it's taking. But we're managing, trying to keep the peace until Morro's gone."

"I heard my name, are you guys talking about me," Morro teased as he phased through the wall next to Azami's bed.

"Get out, I didn't give you permission to enter my den," Azami stated, moving her hands in a shooing gesture while Lloyd laughed at the situation

Placing a hand on his chest and gasping, Morro feigned hurt, "What am I not allowed to talk to my sister and cousin?" Lloyd continued to chuckle at Morro's antics. "Well, maybe if you kept your stuff in check, you wouldn't face such hostility."

Morro grinned mischievously, "But where's the fun in that? Chaos keeps life interesting, right Azami."

Azami shot him a deadpan look. "Your idea of 'interesting' is not what I signed up for when I agreed to let you stay here temporarily."

Lloyd, still amused, interjected, "I'm just glad I'm not there dealing with the daily tornado of Morro's mess. But hey, it's all in good fun, right?"

Morro nodded, enjoying the banter. "Exactly! You two are doing a great job putting up with me. It's like a little adventure in domestic chaos."

Azami sighed, shaking her head. "Just make sure you clean up after yourself before you leave, or I might just unleash my own kind of whirlwind."

Morro saluted playfully. "Consider it done, dear sister. I'll try to contain the chaos, at least until the renovations are finished."

As the banter continued, Lloyd couldn't help but appreciate the bond between the three of them, even amid Morro-induced chaos. "K, well I have to go. Kai wants to teach me how to make a katana. Talk to you guys later," Lloyd said before hanging up the phone.

"Hey Mimi," Azami looked over at Morro, shocked that he had used the nickname he gave when they were kids. Morro's mischievous grin softened into one of sincerity, "I really do appreciate you letting me stay here. I know I can be a bit of an ass but I promise I don't mean any harm by it."

"I know, and I'm really trying to forgive you it's just hard. When you left you didn't even tell me, you just wrote some note and honestly I wasn't sure what to think of it because you were going through your whole Green Ninja phase at the time."

Morro's expression turned more somber, and he nodded understandingly. "I get it, Azami. I messed up, and I can't change the past. I just hope that being here, even temporarily, gives us a chance to rebuild some of what we lost. And for what it's worth, I'm sorry for leaving the way I did."

Azami sighed, her gaze softening a bit. "I appreciate the apology, Morro. It's just... it's going to take time. You can't expect everything to go back to the way it was overnight."

Morro nodded, a hint of regret in his eyes. "I know, and I'm willing to give it the time it needs. I've missed having family, even if I didn't show it before."

Azami nodded back, a small smile playing on her lips. "Well, we'll see how things go. Just try not to wreak too much havoc while you're here, okay?"

Morro chuckled. "No promises, but I'll do my best to keep the chaos to a minimum. Oh, except not for Ren, he gives some priceless reactions."

Trying to mask her laughter Azami gave Morro a playful glare, "Vix is going to kill you. If Ren stopped coming over because of you they would be pissed."

Morro raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "Who, me? I'm just adding a little excitement to the 'chiuhhah's' life. Keeps things interesting, you know?"

Azami shook her head, a mix of exasperation and amusement. "You're impossible, Morro. Just try not to drive Vix insane before you leave."

Morro grinned, giving a mock salute. "No promises, but I'll keep it in mind. Now, I'll leave you to your den of order and organization. And remember you can't collect too many things, you little hoarder."

As Morro phased through the wall once again, Azami couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Despite the chaos he brought, having Morro around did add a unique flavor to their lives. She just hoped that, amid the banter and mischief, they could find a way to rebuild the bonds that had been strained over the years. And that Vix could find it in themself to at least try to forgive Morro.
