Johnny's P.O.V

People began to step on my feet and screams almost blew out my eardrums. I could see everyone being separated by the sea of people. Even the band that was just rocking out maybe an hour ago was now trying to stick together in fear.

A hand held a firm grip on my wrist, but it was too crowded for me to be able to turn around and see who was keeping me from being torn away. Instead, I was tugged backward towards the far wall. My body squeezed past others until I was in a clearing. There still wasn't enough time for me to turn around before the person yanked my arm. I stumbled back and into a storage closet. The door slammed and I was welcomed by complete darkness.

"What the hell?" I mumbled. There was a mixture of confusion and fear showing in my voice.

The person turned on the flashlight of their phone, setting it on a shelf in the closet. The light cast a pale color to the side of Ten's face, while the other side remained dark from shadows.

"What are you doing?" I asked him. "Why are we in here?"

"Johnny, " Ten breathed. I've never seen him so serious in his life. His brows furrowed in worry. "I want to explain everything to you before we die."

I held Ten's shoulders with a firm grip and looked at him straight in the eyes. "We're not going to die. The sword should be blessed now and one of us has it. We will not die!"

Not only was I trying to convince Ten, but also myself.

"I want to believe that, Johnny." Ten paused, his eyes dropping just for a second. "I'm just scared that we'll leave off on the wrong side of things." He finished softly.

Through my anger towards Ten, I found a light of understanding. I waited for him to look back at my eyes before speaking up. "Talk to me then."

"What happened isn't what you think. Between me and Taeyong."

"Ten, if you want Taeyong, just tell me." I could already feel pain in my chest with me about to tell him to let me go. "Tell me now, so it'll be easier for the both of us. I saw you kiss Taeyong once I came back to the dorm later that night. You said we were going to have a date. When I opened the door to see you leaning to him, your faces so close, my heart sunk. I've never felt so broken in my life. We've been together for so long and we've never even kissed. Why didn't you just tell me that you liked another guy?"

"No, Johnny." Ten shook his head. "I didn't really kiss him. I invited Taeyong over that day because I wanted to make sure the night I had planned for us would be perfect. I... I was going to kiss you that night after everything. I didn't kiss Taeyong, I swear. I was running through my plans I wanted to do that night, and that included me leading into our kiss, but I wasn't going to go through with him. I would never do that to you. Plus, Taeyong has a girlfriend."

Ten's eyes were marbled and wide at this point. I still held Ten's shoulders, not knowing how to respond. "How do I know you're telling the truth?"

"Because I love you, Johnny." Ten looped his arms around me, resting his head on my shoulder. I slowly let my arms fall around him. "I don't want to lose you. Johnny, ever since we met at that stupid, cheap trampoline place, I knew that you were someone that I couldn't spend a day without."

I let out a sad chuckle. "You worked behind the counter. I remember walking in and seeing you look so incredibly bored. I went there because it was finals week, and I was procrastinating on studying by doing literally anything. I saw you and actually felt weak. I wanted to catch you attention, so I told you I could-"

"Do a backflip," Ten finished for me. "But you ended up breaking your ankle. I freaked out so much and actually went to the hospital to make sure you were okay."

"I got to miss the first day of finals, and I also scored your number when you stayed in the room with me."

"After that, you came back to the trampoline place with crutches. I told you that you're not allowed to go out to the trampolines when injured. You told me that-"

"I didn't come for the trampolines, I came for you." I closed my eyes, remembering the smile on Ten's face after I told him that the first time. How his expression seemed to brighten my whole life. "Then I took you for lunch."

Ten sniffed and I felt the shoulder of my shirt dampen. He wiped his face and reburied it in the crook of my neck, where his wet cheeks pressed against my skin.

"Are you crying?" I asked Ten, gently rubbing his back.

"I don't want us to die."

"We won't. Trust me."

Jisung's P.O.V

I jumped up to scan the crowd. Thanks to my height, I had a fairly good view of everyone. I was staying close to Jaemin and Mi-Cha. Hana was with us, but just disappeared seconds ago.

"Hana!" I called out to the crowd. You'd think she would be easy to find with her gold dress.

I glanced to Jaemin, who had Mi-Cha locked in his arms with determination of keeping her close. They were also looking through gaps of people to find anyone we knew. If only we had pushed to the back with the sword and to come up with a plan.

The last person I saw with the sword was Chenle, which was pushed away with Jueun. I watched Ten drag Johnny away and then they disappeared from my sight. Haechan took Hyunji from the table and ran off. G-Dragon is curled up in some corner of the barn freaking out. Yuta, Mark, Soomi, Jeno, and Renjun completely vanished from sight. I don't have any clue which way they went, or if they're even together.

"Shit!" I cursed, throwing my hands down against my legs. "Where did she go?"

"I don't know where any of them went," Mi-Cha whined.

A flash of gold caught my eye. I pushed a couple people in front of me to the side. "Hana!" I called.

The gold reappeared, but it wasn't Hana. My heart plummeted in a loss of hope.

"You seem a bit worried about me."

I spun around, accidentally hitting someone with my arm from turning so fast. I quickly apologized, then faced a half-amused Hana. She looked worn out from tonight's events and her curled hair was almost straight again.

"Jeez, Hana," I sharply exhaled. "You were here for a second, then you weren't. We got scared."

"Wow, Ji." She was able to crack a smile. "I feel special about being the one you were looking for out of everyone else missing."

I stopped for second, realizing that she was right. My face grew warmer.

"Stop blushing," Hana teased. "We have to find the sword." She grabbed my hand and nodded for Jaemin and Mi-Cha to follow us.

But she was blushing too.
