He was the type of person who would come back to his hometown and wouldn't visit his mother. That's why when he showed up at her door a after almost half year, she was startled.
"Jungkook!" on her toes, she wrapped her arms around his neck. He, being the tough guy he is, expressionlessly tapped her back a few times.
"Hey, mother"
"I thought you wouldn't come!"
"I was around." Anna didn't care about his monotone voice.
She kissed his cheek already knowing her son wouldn't express all the love she knew he felt. Jungkook has been like that since he was a kid, reserved. Of course, after his younger brother's accident, Jungkook had become much more closed. She knew he'd been feeling guilty since then. And unfortunately, she couldn't help him nor any doctor they had tried.
Mrs. Jeon learned how to read him like a book but it took time. She always knew he loved her food, but melon and mango always made his eyes shine, and banana milk always made his eyes pop out. Nonetheless, she welcomed him with some tea, because the last time she offered banana milk she heard a long speech about him being an adult, he drank the milk anyway though.
Jeon Anna had just complained about Jeon Jinwoo, Jungkook's father, who would always take too long to come back home.
"He's been like that since ever, mother. When it comes to working, It's always first on his list."
"And is it different for you?" She stared at him with an ironic face.
Jungkook cleaned his throat "What about him?"
"Him?" She looked troubled but her eyes widened in realization. Ah... Dear, He has a name. Why can't you be friendly with him? He's been through so much already."
He sighed. "I'll try,"
He lied. He wouldn't waste his time with him.
The fact that Kim Taehyung enraged him wasn't any lie. Jungkook always said he had no compassion, nor empathy for the boy. The reason for that? Some. Kim Taehyung had the sharpest tongue Jungkook had ever seen since the beginning and he thought the younger was an ungrateful criminal. He meant trouble.

He was on his break. In two weeks he would be back at the military school. Why would he have to pass through that when he should be resting?
He did as his father said. He gave the boy clothes and showed him the bathroom. He heard the boy calling him rude. He felt a little sting because he didn't know the other was hurt. Yet, Jungkook knowing this only helped to form an opinion about the newcomer. Jungkook judged him a weakling for being so affected by a simple foot twist.
He could swear he heard some sobs from the bathroom that night... 'crybaby' Jungkook thought, after all, he wasn't used to shredding tears. Not anymore.
But the strange boy could read him like an open book and for that, of course, Jungkook would hate him for years.
"What are you doing there?" He asked rudely. 'Why is he at my brother's bed?'
Taehyung didn't answer and just turned around to face the wall.
"I asked you a question." He heard a long sigh.
"Checking the mattress quality,"
His blood boiled and also his cheeks. Jungkook thought of throwing the boy out of the room for his behavior but gave up when he heard a soft sniff. He scoffed at the frail and vulnerable posture Taehyung conveyed and headed to his bed.
After this and that, Jungkook had become a light sleeper. So when the feeble boy started whimpering and murmuring at night, he cursed under his breath. He stood up, harshly turned the lamp on, and was ready to start screaming but froze in place.
The younger one had tears in his eyes while hugging the blanket closely tight to his chest. There was also some mumbling about mom and 'kill you'
Jungkook rolled his eyes and went back to his bed, using his ear pods to stop the sounds, yet the image was already carved. He felt angry at the other... Taehyung should know we must not show our weakness.
He didn't feel sorry for the boy. Why would he? Just because that stranger was all tiny? As if he needed extra weight on his feet so he wouldn't be blown away by the wind? It was none of his business.
Jungkook had trouble sleeping in his room from that day on.
His father never really explained what had happened with the feeble. Moreover, why should he bother to understand anything? Lost in these thoughts, the ravenette left the bathroom and immediately bumped into something.
Jungkook wasn't a thin boy anymore. Since his younger days, he had practiced sports and fights, and now studying at the military school, he was a built-up eighteen-year-old boy.
He looked to the ground and raised an eyebrow, an involuntary smirk popped up on his lips, 'Did he fall with a bump? The heck?'. Yet, his smile turned into a frown on the turbulent glance the other portrayed.
"What?" Jungkook asked rather sternly. Those eyes made him feel guilty, but again he pushed the feeling away.
"An apology maybe?" The voice was deep and soft, a weird combination for someone so young. Jungkook hated it even more. Why would someone with such a nice voice be so, so,-
Jungkook scoffed and walked away. He heard "Stupid" but didn't care. For Jungkook, that was his house, no foreigner should mess with him. Wear his clothes, and his brother's stuff, touch things and walk around limping full of vulnerability. Jungkook hated him, he convinced himself of that.
The boy stood up and Jungkook saw he was really thin in his shirt. The sweatpants could have two of them there but the youngest Jeon wasn't the type to pity people. He's learned that one must go after his strength and not die in self-pity. He repeated that a few times top his own tears for years. A choice he's made based on his past mistakes.
It hadn't been a week when he lost his shit. His father had gone to work and his mother was in the shower when he felt the stare burning his cheek. Both were finishing lunch when Jungkook punched the table with all his strength. Taehyung flinched and shrieked but he quickly covered it as if it was a cough.
"Why the hell do you keep staring at me!?" Jungkook barked.
"Bold of you think I'd waste my time looking at you," Taehyung didn't look away again. He stared at the older with defiant eyes. He held his fists clenched to stop the trembling. Anyone could see he was nervous but Jungkook.
The younger Jeon was awestruck for a few minutes there. The boy looked good now that he wasn't all dirty, but well, still rude. 'Who the hell is this boy to come and talk like that?'
"Do you think it's right to have this rude behavior?" Jungkook asked venomously.
"HAHAHA you're kidding, right? You forgot how nasty you were from day one. You were the only one being rude here."
"But you owe me respect, you're in my house," Jungkook said, frowning.
"Respect works both ways." Taehyung got up and put his plate in the sink. He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. "Maybe that's too much for your bunny head...."
Jungkook got enraged. "Don't call me that! Is this how you thank us for staying?"
"I don't need to thank you, but your parents. And I tell you more, I'm not going to do it. I didn't ask anyone for help. They did it because they wanted to, humph." Taehyung frowned and crossed his arms.
Jungkook's knuckles turned white from clenching his hands into fists. He grabbed Taehyung by the collar and pressed him to the wall, earning a grunt from the boy. "You better watch your mouth." Jungkook's voice was now low and falsely controlled. "How dare you say that? Shouldn't you be more respectful? I'm older than you and my parents sheltered you."
Taehyung chuckled, "It's funny to watch you try to be an adult when clearly you behave like a spoiled brat." He grunted again when Jungkook pressed him further on the wall, his inner turmoils starting to creep on his skin.
"Don't you ever shut up!?"
"I'm not lying though, am I?," Taehyung grabbed the hands on his collar uselessly trying to push them away, "I didn't ask them to help me! I was on my way to my own life when your dear father arrested me," Taehyung yelt without any hesitation, spitting his words angrily. His eyes showed confidence, although there was another thing there that Jungkook couldn't decipher with his dark angry eyes.
"So, that's what you are? A criminal? I bet I'll arrest you any day in the future," Jungkook tightened his grip "It will be such a pleasure."
"As if you could even see me! Walking like you own the world with this nose of yours stuck in your ass!"
Jungkook saw red and was ready to punch the younger one, hitting him on the face with a well-served punch.
"JUNGKOOK!" Mrs. Jeon yelled from the doorstep of the kitchen.
Taehyung scrunched his face in pain, placing one of his hands on the hit.
"What are you doing!? Let him go," Mrs. Jeon screamed, yanking her son off Taehyung 's collar.
Taehyung lost his strength and slid to the ground. Mrs. Jeon crouched down to check on him.
"Stop staring at me, you freak!" He almost pitied the boy for the way his body was trembling. The pity though was fast gone when he saw a smirk on Taehyung's face, "Can't you see, Mom? He's just acting like a good boy around you and dad, he's scum!"
"Jungkook! I don't wanna hear these words in my house! To your room, NOW!!"
"What? I'm already eighteen you-"
"Jeon Jungkook, I said now." Her tone was low, as dangerous as Jungkook's a few minutes ago, maybe scarier for being some decades older.
"Urrgh!" The young Jeon left enraged.
Not that Jungkook would admit that, but maybe he felt jealous of the boy for seeing his parents so there for him when Jungkook himself hadn't allowed them to be like this with him.
Maybe, he regretted it a bit and felt lonely. And maybe he got angry at himself for beating soat clearly wasn't in a good situation. Unfortunately, though, he understood that frustration, that discomfort, as one thing: disgust for the other. And much anger when his mother came to his room and snapped at him, saying he should help the younger for being older and not behave like a spoiled brat, confirming Taehyung's words.
Jungkook was staring beyond the ceiling when Taehyung entered the room. The older immediately sighed loudly and glanced at the younger with a scowl.
"Wow... Why so serious, Jungkookie?"
"Shut up and leave," Jungkook said even more seriously after the younger one used his name so carelessly.
"Wow, maybe this school of yours doesn't teach you how to be polite. Maybe if you ask more gently."
"Just leave." He sat on the bed with enraged eyes.
"What is it, bunny boy? Why are you so angry? Perhaps, are you feeling guilty f-," He couldn't finish his sentence.
"Stop analyzing me!" Jungkook pinned him on the wall again.
Taehyung was smaller and weaker but he'd been through enough to not feel scared, or at least not show it.
"I'm not analyzing you," he scoffed, "I'm just stating a fact."
"I DON'T F*CK*NG CARE! Why are you here anyway? Leave me alone." The older one took some steps back, to get Taehyung free from his grip
"This is my room too, y'know. At least till my sentence comes,"
"Nothing here is yours. Get the hell outta here." Jungkook's voice was low and dangerous.
"Uh, so angry. Okay, honey-"
"Don't make light of me." Jungkook slammed the door shut on the younger's face.
"So sensitive," Taehyung said from behind the door.
From that day on, every time they walked past each other, Jungkook would feel anger building up. Whenever he saw Taehyung, he wished to punch that smirk off.
Taehyung, on the other hand, would tease Jungkook whenever he could, trying to have the older teen do something against him. Jungkook knew if he touched Taehyung he would be yelled at again, scolded, even grounded. The unbearable feeling of punching the other settled in his heart.
Why could Kim Taehyung, that burglar boy, see through him so easily!? Make him angry so quickly? Luckily his vacation time was soon over and he wouldn't have to deal with this freak for much longer cause after all Jungkook hated his guts, and he prayed he could arrest the boy in the future.
Those were Jungkook's longest two weeks ever. He never really thought he would have to deal with the boy again after he heard he had been gone... but well here he was at the age of 25 arguing with his mother about the same feeble.
"He'll be here for my birthday dinner, you can talk to him," Anna said with a soft smile "I would love you guys finally getting on well."
Jungkook unconsciously scoffed "That's on him. He just needs to keep that big mouth of his shut." he rolled his eyes.
Anna Jeon was a tolerant woman, well- kind of.
"Jeon Jungkook. It will be my birthday." Her smile became a dangerous smirk, "You dare to cause anything close to trouble and you know what I will do?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow, waiting for anything but what she said, "I do have those photos of you with your cute bunny underwear. Would you like the whole police department to see them too?"
His eyes shot open 'She would never.' though her face had no hesitancy, no sign of a lie. He gulped and cleared his throat. 'Of course, she would.'
"But-"
"There is no but, Jeon Jungkook." She said sternly, "He is younger, more immature, and passing through a tough moment since God knows when. If anything close to a fight happens here, or if you cause any turbulence, I'll myself hand copies of that cutest under-"
He stood up, "For goodness sake mother. I'm twenty-five, can't you see? I won't cause any problems as soon as he keeps his thoughts to himself. I've received five honors in different -"
Now look, he wasn't against it because he feared being exposed, but the fact that she would know he didn't work at an American police department as a detective would be a shock somehow. OF course, the underwear had nothing to do with his small panic attack there.
"Oh, dear son." She cut him off, placing her hand on his shoulder. "But for me, you'll always be my cute little bunny, my kookie, into bunny's and elephants' underwears." She said while slightly squeezing his cheek, and leaving her hand there.
He sighed and wondered if anyone would feel tha is kind shame as well. Though he internally appreciated her touch.
"Whatever, just don't call me that. I'm not a kid anymore." He pecked her forehead.
He left after getting a peck on his cheek and a hug from the only person that could control him and make him feel another thing that wasn't repressed anger; embarrassment.

The building from the outside was just a normal one. The expensive code system on the door was the only thing that gave away that it was more than just a traditional building. As soon as you crossed the door, there was a useless floor with a living room, a kitchen, and some doors that would lead to bedrooms. It was only after the second floor that things would change.
At the end of the corridor, there was a room full of high-tech devices that most parts of the world didn't even know would exist. It was in this room that the recognition of an Agent would happen, if it's found the intruder isn't an agent, sleeping gas would stop the invader.
He passed through the iron walls after a small sound that went off to announce he was allowed to keep his path.
"Finally. You used to be faster, JK. What took you so long?" The tall man asked; His sharp eyes were like a falcon and his countenance screamed power.
"It's my family we might be involving, Cap. You know I'm completely against it. Moreover, he has no emotional control. He'd never be able to follow any type of rule, and an aggravating: he's annoying."
"This is not personal, Jeon. Just obey the orders." The falcon-eyed said.
"You know I'm not this kind of agent,"
"So what's the difference between you and that model? And we just need him to get access to the spaces. He doesn't need to know. Following him might be enough. Suga, could you get his archive?"
"Yes, sir. It wasn't this hard. He has worked for Vogue since he was seventeen, and he's been living at Dongdaemun Plaza, not so far from here. We can install a few listening and cameras." The boy on the computer said.
"It won't be necessary for now. Let's go with his phone. Is everything ready for tonight?"
"Yeah. But the building is heavily secured. They have one of the most advanced security systems besides the guards, even though they are the worst type. Jin will need a disguise."
"That means they are not alone." All of them turned to stare at the raspy voice. It came from a short blond male, dressing in large black clothes. The deep circle under his eyes worsened due to the hoodie shadow.
"You look awful" the guy on the computer turned for the first time to stare at the others. He was thin and pale and was judging the other, "You look worse than me, Park,"
"Mind your own business, Min," Park Jimin wasn't rude, just incisive, especially when in a bad mood. "The party is only for invited ones, and apparently, they'll have this new narcotic on or something like that."
"And how would you know that?" Suga agent asked.
"You have your internet connection and I have my people's connection. I don't ask about yours and you don't ask about mine. I'm out. I need to get ready for tonight." Jimin said leaving the place to be stopped right after.
"You're not going tonight, Park." The leader's voice cut through the room and all the eyes were on him. "Agent Kim is the one going, alone."
"What do you mean, Captain? I got the info about the party tonight, and the drugs. My report is-"
"Meeting, Park." The falcon-eyed, Kim Namjoon, didn't wait for the rest of the sentence. Agent Park sighed and followed the leader.
"I just can't trust him," Jungkook stated while looking at the model pic in the file. When he heard they would use Kim Taehyung to spy on the modeling company he immediately felt the chills. It would expose his family as well, after all, since a few years ago his father held the boy's custody.
Min stared at Jungkook with a smirk. "You look like a kid complaining. At least he's handsome."
Jungkook groaned. Everyone's been calling him a kid. He hated it. "As soon as he doesn't open that shitty mouth, but I doubt he can be of any good."
But when Suga opened the files to see the model's face, Jungkook felt his eyes doubling in size.
He would never admit that loudly or even for his mind, but the model was a good one. Not only the poses for the photos, and the clothing he was wearing but his fox eyes were also intense, they conveyed whatever message the propaganda or style demanded.
He was ethereal... but no one needed to know that Jungkook agreed.
"You're drooling, Jeon." The comment was answered with a punch on his arm.
"Shut up, Suga."

Is it confusing? I'm not sure. If you have questions you can ask!
What do you think about Tae's and Jungkook's first collision? I can't call the meeting cause they were firing each other all the time hehe.
Leave a comment and your critics. Leave a nice vote too, please.
I feel like my writing is decaying. Is it because I was too greedy to write many stories at the same time? Is it only my impression? Really don't know, but I'll keep working!
Thank you my dear and kind supporter and friends. You know you've been giving lots of inspiration and motivation. I appreciate that! Love you!
Oonna~
