After some hours, we reach the Swan house "Is this the place?" Martin asks as I park the car, we see a red orange pick up truck with a cop cruiser in the driveway. The house is a two story small house that is painted whitish blue.

"It is" mom smiles looking at the house "your fathers would talk of this place all the time, your dad Violet always said how he was going to bring you here" My dad would? Mom said he didn't want children, that he tried for her but he didn't want the responsibility of beige a father. That he ran off.

"Let's go inside?" I suggest "Uncle Charlie has been missing us" we leave and I grab our bags as mom goes up the steps, Martin helps me with his bag before I close the trunk.

Mom knocks on the door as we wait, when the door opens Martin's eyes widen on Uncle Charlie. Right, Uncle Charlie and Uncle Paul are identical except Uncle Charlie has facial hair and is more pale than Uncle Paul who got a tan being in California.

"Sophie?" He asks then looks at me "Violet?" Looking at Martin who stares at him "is this Martin?"

"Hi Uncle Charlie" I hug him and whisper quickly "we forgot to tell Martin that you and Uncle Paul are identical twins" he nods his head as I pull away when mom hugs him.

"Hi Charlie" mom hugs him "I'm sorry about Paul"

Nodding his head "Thanks Sophie" crouching down "hi, I'm Charlie your dad's brother"

"You and my dad" Martin stares at him "your both"

"Identical twins" nodding his head "come on inside, I want to get to know you all" we head inside and the place is the same as it was before "I wish I had some more notice about you coming Sophie, I would have gotten some air mattresses"

"It's okay Charlie" waving her hand

"Violet" he tells me "you and Bella will be sharing a room, it has an air mattress in it while Sophie you will stay in my room where you and Martin can hopefully share a bed?"

Nodding her head "What about you?" Martin asks

"I'll be in my office" he tells us "I've got a bed in there big enough for one person—it was Daniel's old room" right, Uncle Paul told me how he and Uncle Charlie would have bunk beds. We hear footsteps and down comes a bland looking girl who smells terrible, her clothes are right and we can basically see her bones "Bella" she looks up at us "you remember your Aunt Sophie and cousin Violet, but this is the first time you're meeting Martin"

She looks at us as I speak up "Hi Bella"

She nods her head "Hello, sorry for Uncle Paul"

"We have the same eyes" Martin says, we look down at him. Yeah, we three have the same chocolate brown eyes.

"Yeah" nodding my head "Bella?" She looks at me "maybe we three cousins could go out to La Push? I know Uncle Paul talked about it"

"Yeah" mom nods her head smiling as we notice her start to shake "If you all don't mind I need to talk to Diana"

"Diana?" I notice Uncle Charlie stiffen

"Mom" I hand mom the smoothie I got her, blue berry strawberry mix with crushed up medication mixed in "here's your smoothie" she smiles taking it.

"Bella" Uncle Charlie says "why don't you guys go to Cora's Cafe" he hands us some money "can I talk to you Violet for a moment?" Nodding my head as Martin and Bella just stand there while I go to the kitchen with Uncle Charlie "Diana? Isn't Diana your mom's imaginary friend?"

I hand him what I wrote down "Yeah" I say loudly "it was a shocker for Martin seeing you" he looks confused as he took the note about how I'm getting mom back on her meds but she can't know. He nods his head understanding as I take the note back "thanks for the money, do you want anything from the cafe? Mom already said no" yeah, I asked before about it and she said no.

"No" shaking his head "you kids have fun"

"Okay" going over to the others "let's go?"

"We can take my truck" Bella leaves no room for argument as we go into her truck.

"No seatbelts?" Martin asks sitting between us

Shaking her head "Came like this"

"He was just asking" I tell her, she is silent "so how has it been?" She doesn't say anything so we just sit in silence.

"Did you know our dads?" Martin asks

"No" looking at us "and Uncle Daniel I never met, remember he died when me and Violet were too young" she parks the truck. Martin and I look at her confused "what?" She sees our confused looks.

"My dad's dead?" I ask

She nods her head "Didn't you know?"

"No" Martin shakes his head "we didn't" we go into the cafe and people look our way.

"Bella" we see an Asian looking kid come over "how are you doing?"

Bella stares at him "Hi Eric" then motions "Eric these are my cousins Violet and Martin, my Uncles Daniel's and Paul's kids—this is Eric" wow, some introduction.

"Oh!" He exclaims looking at us "I heard you were coming in Violet but not your brother, it's great meeting you" we shake hands "those are our friends Mike, Tyler, Angela my girlfriend, Jessica and Lauren" we see a group of teenagers look at us.

"We should get eating" Bella says

"Nice to meet you" I tell him as we walk away, going to a booth we soon eat as people look our way. Some coming up to offer their condolences and tell us how amazing Uncle Paul was. But my mind just goes back to what Bella said, my dad is dead.
