Nora woke up but hadn't opened her eyes yet, she knew it was late afternoon. Soren stirred around her. "About time you guys woke up!"

Nora's eyes flew open. "Ryker?"

"What are you doing here, man? You should find your own woman!" Soren said and didn't move. "Go away!"

"I would but I was tracking our friend. He is here on campus. Somewhere. Hiding right now. Thought you would want to help." Ryker sounded casual. Bored even.

Soren sat up and stayed mostly covered. "I'm up."

"Me too." Nora sat up behind Soren. "Ryker."

"Nora." Ryker laughed. "Boy Soren, you know how to pick 'em! I guess you like a challenge, huh?!"

He was enjoying this. His brother was sleeping with a phantom. Ryker just kept laughing. This was great. His brother hated the supernatural creatures more than anyone he met. He was ruthless and now he was in bed with one.

Poppy stood up and began to defend Nora. "Now, you just hold on. Nora is the sweetest, most caring person that I ever met! I will not stand here and listen to you insult her!" She was just getting started. "Just because you are famous doesn't mean that you can treat people..."

"Poppy. It's okay. You don't understand but Ryker is right. This is a bad choice for Soren. I am bad for him. We have fought it for a while. We fought all of last year." Nora was explaining the best she could. "We fought a lot this last year."

"I guess we both lost!" Soren smiled and kissed Nora. "Maybe we won. I think we won!" He kissed her again.

"Hey, focus. Our friend is here. We need a plan." Ryker pointed out. He had to keep them focused.

"Fine. I need a shower and clothes. Food. Go get food for us while we get ready and we'll plan." Soren asked or said. Ryker was out the door. They were showered and dressed and there was Chinese food. Nora ate like a starving person.

"You should feed her more if you are going to be in bed all day. You need food and maybe some Gatorade for hydration!" Ryker was having fun with this.

Soren glared at Ryker and was about to respond but Hyde was at the door. "Might as well let him in. He isn't going to like this!" Nora said the last part to herself mostly.

She was right. He hadn't seen her in class and found out she didn't go. He turned into a dad. "Where have you been?"

Poppy and Ryker laughed. "Oh, they were here." Ryker said. He chuckled. They were in trouble now. Dad was here.

"I was here." Nora said. "Look, this is none of your business!" She started.

"Don't start with that crap! Nora, please say you didn't have sex with a ghost hunter! You know phantoms are the enemy. How can this work?" Hyde wasn't thinking about Poppy. "What are you thinking?" Hyde was worried about his friend's decision making skills.

"A little too late for that lecture, Hyde, and Phantoms aren't an enemy." Soren stated. "They are a target. They were. We are trying to change that, Hyde. I promise. Although, Nora is still the target." He looked at Nora like she was food.

Nora giggled.

Hyde glared.

"Easy, calm down." Nora said. She was still nursing a hangover. "I have a headache. We are still working through this. He isn't going to kill me. He had plenty of opportunity last night. I'm still alive." She blushed.

Soren covered his face and laughed. "We can try to kill each other later!" He suggested. Nora laughed. Almost giggled. She nodded. He buried his face in her hair. She smelled so great.

"Gross!" Ryker said. He made a face.

Poppy stared at the crazy people in her room. "What is a phantom? Why is that an enemy?"

Everyone stopped laughing. Poppy didn't know any of this. "Damn it!" Soren cursed.

Ryker looked at Nora and she nodded. "Might as well now." Nora pointed out and looked at Poppy. They would have to tell her something.

"Well, Nora is a phantom and we, as supernatural hunters, hunt them. Well, we hunt supernatural creatures. Not just ghosts. Phantoms would be supernatural. It's complicated." Ryker pointed out like this was common knowledge for everyone.

Soren made a noise and looked at his brother.

"We need help. We need to give her a crash course. We have a demon on the loose in a college. We need help." Soren said and everyone looked at Poppy.

"For the record, this is a bad idea." Hyde said as he was locking the door. Ryker was closing the blinds.

"What is happening? I don't do seances or anything that involve the occult." Poppy was nervous.

She was worried about whatever Nora was caught up in. What was a phantom? She had watched enough of their shows to know they were into a lot of weird stuff.

Nora smiled. "It's nothing like that. I promise. Just remember that it's still me and you are safe. Okay?"

Poppy nodded but she had no idea what she was agreeing to.

Nora smiled and nodded. "No one will hurt you." Nora phased. She was floating and Poppy just stared.

Soren touched Nora and smiled. "You know what's crazy? I still want you! Even like this." He winked at Nora. Nora laughed and cover her mouth. Her laugh sounded ghostly in this form.

"Sorry. It's me. Poppy. You okay?" Poppy just stared. She blinked a couple times. Ryker sat her in a chair. "Just breath, okay? I am a phantom. I met these guys last year." Nora looked at Soren. "Oh, we met a year ago!" Nora almost melt.

"Focus!" Hyde said. He shook his head.

"Soren got me the snow globe and the roses, the bag and the movies."

"He what!" Hyde was freaking out.

"Focus, Hyde." Soren said and smiled.

"You okay, Poppy?" Hyde asked. He ignored Soren. He was asking Nora about the gifts later.

Poppy was quiet for a moment. She was looking at the ghost that was Nora. She took a breath.

"Thank all of the goddesses! I thought all you did was study and attend class! I thought you were a very boring person! I'm so happy that you aren't. I was worried that you would die alone in your house with eighty cats!" Poppy stated.

She was still looking at Nora. She was thinking. "Have you been dating this whole time?" Poppy was staring.

That was what Poppy was thinking right now? "Well, we met on Thanksgiving, a couple days before." Soren began.

"When I went to Hyde's house." Nora continued.

"We have been fighting ever since." Soren finished. He loved fighting with Nora.

"Right." Nora touched the floor and began to look human again. "We fought a lot."

"I like it when we make up. That is..." Soren smiled and kissed Nora. They were wrapped together. "Wonderful." Soren finally finished the sentence. He put his hands on Nora's face and gently pulled her close and kissed her. He had no intentions of stopping.

Ryker took over. "Right. That's what happens when they're together." He sighed. His brother wasn't helping right now.

"Well, we are hunting a demon that had been taking people. We have narrowed the search and I found a few hints in Mexico. I found some legends and a lead there. This demon has been busy this past year. We almost got him once with Nora's help."

Ryker began pulling stuff out of his bag. "I found a lot on this demon. I think that it is controlled by someone. Someone is making this happen and we need to stop it and to do that, we have to stop both the demon and the person. If we know who the person is and stop him and that stops the demon."

"What is that?" Poppy looked at the EMF meter. "I mean, I have watched your show but that isn't the same as this...in real life!" This was different.

"That is an EMF meter, Electromagnetic Field Meter. It reads a kind of energy that a ghost puts off. Well, ghosts, demons, phantoms. Most supernatural creatures. We hunt them and kill them. Well, the bad ones." He elbowed his brother. "Soren. Time to work."

Soren looked at Nora and smiled. "Later. We will finish that." Nora nodded and melted. "Do you mind if we show Poppy how the EMF meter works?" Soren looked at Nora.

"Oh, right. Sure." Nora smiled. "Okay. Turn it on."

Ryker turned it on and it lit up two lights. It was almost normal. "That is about normal. If there are electronics or a lot of electricity then you can get two lights easy." He paused and nodded at Nora.

Nora phased and floated. The EMF was lit up all the way and started whining. She landed and it returned to two lights. "See. Nora can mess up a hunt!" Soren teased.

"Funny." Nora glared at him. He smiled and she laughed.

"Gross." Ryker said and glared. Poppy laughed.

"Are you okay?" Nora asked her friend.

Poppy smiled and nodded. "So, Hyde knew?"

"Yes. Only because I followed her to a haunted house and she tackled me as a ghost. Scared the shit out of me." Hyde smiled.

"Not a ghost." Nora reminded Hyde.

"Close enough when someone sees you in a haunted house. You are a ghost!" Hyde teased.

"Fair enough."

"Why were you in a haunted house?" Poppy got goosebumps. She was afraid of haunted houses. Even pretend ones at Halloween.

"I love them. That is where I go when I need to think. Most of them around here are haunted because someone sees me." Nora smiled.

"I haunted a lot. But not around people and I try not to scare anyone. I try to go alone." She stopped. "Oh, I have some files for you, Ryker." Nora found her bag and handed him the files she organized for him.

Ryker took them and looked through them and handed them to Soren.

Soren laughed.

"What?" Nora was lost at what was funny.

"These are color coded and well organized. This is crazy!" Soren smiled. "Thanks. This was a lot of work, Nora."

"This was fun. Oh, I used scented highlighters!" Nora smiled. She knew that Soren would love that.

Soren laughed, smelled the paper and kissed Nora. "I love you!" He sank into the kiss and wasn't ready to let go.

Ryker ignored the kissing couple again. "So, if you are on board, we have a demon to hunt." He couldn't resist and he smelled a file. Grape. Nice.

"We still need to find the person that is controlling it. I found this symbol." Ryker pulled out a sketchbook. He opened it. His notes weren't as organized or scented.

Hyde was holding a file that Nora had and stared at Nora's drawing. Ryker had left a file open while he was searching through his notes. He was annoyed because Nora was a better artist. "I know that symbol." He couldn't breath.

"What do you mean, you know that symbol?" Ryker asked.

"That is...hold on. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through for the right picture. "Here." He turned it for Soren and Ryker to see. "That is the shrine my parents made for Willem, my little brother."

Soren was working again. "Nora found that symbol. We found another symbol. They are similar but one is a protecting charm and the other for a conjuring charm. We need to know which is which."

"This one is the protection charm, Soren." Nora pointed at Hyde's picture. "This one that I found. The Abraxas Charm. It is supposed to ward off evil and protect the owner. It is said that it began in a signet ring. It's a grayish green stone. No one agrees as to what it may look like but it was originated from The Roman Empire when they were killing Christians." Nora said. "I don't know how much is true."

"Right and the other is the Vyvolat charm or curse. It is used to call the demon and control it. There is a red medallion and there are arguments as to what it looks like as well. There is a lot of hoodoo out there. There are a lot of charms and spells that could do this." Soren began.

Nora picked up where Soren stopped. "It would have to be strong to call a demon and control it for this long. Over a year. Someone found a very old and powerful toy. You do one thing to displease the demon and you become the next victim."

"It is a very dangerous spell." Soren finished.

Ryker smiled. "How did you find each other?" He shook his head. They were actually perfect for each other and he had no idea how that happened.

Soren smiled. "I have no idea!"

Nora laughed.

"Unbelievable." Hyde muttered. This was ridiculous. Poppy stared at them.

"Poppy, are you okay?" Nora asked. She was a little worried that Poppy was taking this so well.

Poppy cleared her throat. "Sure. Fine. This is all very weird."

Ryker smiled. He knew she was going to quit on them. No one handle this stuff very well. No one he met yet that wasn't family. Well, Nora but she wasn't normal.

"So, one is bad and one is good. Right?" Poppy smiled. "Sorry, I'm new at this."

Ryker smiled. "Right. Yes. We just have to find the bad one. Find out who is behind this. Something is very off."

"Oh, I know. I can tell that and I'm new." Poppy smiled. "Hippies have a protection spell or charm kind of like that Abraxas charm. My parents use it. Sort of. But it is for more frivolous things. Nothing demonic."
