Chapter 21

"It should be around here somewhere" Porchay, Porsche's younger sibling muttered to himself as he continued to wander around while trying to locate a shop using gps.

"Does this thing want me to start digging here?" Porchay scoffed seeing the downward arrow.

"I think it's telling me to start digging here and bury myself in it for being delusional enough to think that I could use gps to reach the shop!!" He whined and grudgingly closing the application, thrusted his phone into his pocket and started looking around to see if there was anyone who could help him.

He was standing near a deserted park covered with different sorts of trees when his eyes suddenly fell on a guy sitting in the middle of that forest like park.

"Witches are not real right?" He tried to reason himself to dissipate the panic that was building up inside him because of how uncanny the situation was.

"But I have heard stories of mythical creatures taking form of good looking people to lure passerby's in. And..." He stopped to look at the mysterious boy again before continuing.

"With that face, he could easily be one of them" He mumbled accepting that the stranger was good looking and when added with the ambience of the forest, it was appearing as if he had come out of some tv series or a music video.

Nevertheless, after summoning the bit of courage he had, he nodded to himself and dashed towards the stranger.

"Hey...um...sorry to disturb you but do you know where-" But before he could explain his intentions, the poor boy got accused of something he hadn't done.

"What do you want?!! You stalker!! Stalking me from a distance was a different thing but I had no idea that you were audacious enough to meet me face to face and try to start a conversation. Are you a psychopath?!" Porchay was visibly taken aback upon hearing the rude and false claim but gained his composure without much trouble.

"Look, I don't know what you are going on about, but I have got no clue about who you even are." Porchay tried to explain but the stranger seemed adamant on his claims.

"Not just a stalker, but a lier too? You sure  are sick, are you not?" He continued showing no signs of stopping anytime soon.

"For the second time Mr. I. Don't. Know. You." Porchay said again emphasizing each other but failed to penetrate the information into his head.

"You think I don't know the petty tricks you're playing? And don't know me? Try making up a better excuse next time, even if you weren't stalking me, there's no way you wouldn't know who I am if you are a citizen of Thailand. I am Kim Teerpanyakul, there's no way you don't know me." He said smiling pridefully.

"Can't I punch him in the face atleast once?" Porsche thought to himself, desparately trying to refrain from hitting the arrogant stranger.

"You know what? I DON'T KNOW YOU, accept it!! And I was the fool for expecting to be helped by a thick-headed arrogant brat like you! Pretty sure even if anyone was to shoot you, they would fail miserably coz even a bullet wouldn't be able penetrate that thick head of yours!!" Porchay stormed off from the place after saying out loud whatever he wanted to while Kim stood there with his mouth agape not being able to believe that the innocent and soft looking boy capable of being so angry.

Barely had Porchay covered a few metres in the direction away from Kim when his eyes fell on a young hooded man with a camera in his hand, clicking pictures of Kim. He didn't seem to care about Porchay's whereabouts but was staring at Kim with hawk eyes as if he was out of some crime show targetting his next victim.

"I don't care if he gets kidnapped. He deserves it!" He tried to make himself understand but couldn't fight back his emotional self who was worried about a fellow human who was probably in stress because of a stalker following him around and invading his privacy.

"Uhhhh!!!!!" He whined and stomped his feet in frustration before turning and rushing back in Kim's direction.

Kim's prideful smile returned upon seeing Porsche coming back but was instantly shut down by him.

"I still don't care about you, but as a good person it's my duty to inform you that there's someone standing behind a tall tree in the north-west side of the park. Don't look at him directly, he's looking at you." Porchay warned him.

"Just do as I say. Get up and start walking, he is surely going to follow you, I will go from the other side and lunge at him. Rush to me as soon as I scream for help. We'll able to catch him easily if he work out in good coordination. " He said while explaining the plan to Kim who was looking a little intrigued but also a little unsure.

"But why should I trust you?" He asked.

"Do you have any other option at your disposal right now? If you are fine with being stalked, then I don't care!  Be my guest!! But if you want to catch him, then do exactly as I say" Porchay smiled sarcastically.

"Got it?" He asked to which Kim nodded silently, without anymore resistance.

They proceeded as planned and thanks to Porchay's light steps, the stalker couldn't make out that someone was following him. In the end, Porchay jumped on the stalker's back and started screaming for Kim. And before the stalker could fling little Porchay away, Kim lunged at him and landed a punch.

"You dare stalk me?!" His strict voice echoed in the desolate park.

But they couldn't bind the stalker for long, for he soon enough broke free from their hold and ran away as fast as any human was capable of. His camera fell down in the process but instead of picking it up, he chose to run away and save himself from being handed over to the police.

Porchay picked it up and after scrolling through the number of photos that he had clicked of Kim on different occasions, handed it over to Kim.

"There, got your stalker's camera. Now do you believe me that I am not a stalker?" Porchay rolled his eyes as he said.

"It's a pity that we couldn't turn him in though" He said looking a little sad but was comforted by Kim.

"Don't worry, I left a tracker on him, it won't be long before we meet again." He said as he opened his phone and sent a text to someone probably asking them track the person down.

"Anyways, thanks for your help. Were you looking for something here?" Kim enquired hoping to help Porchay back in a way to repay a portion of the help he received from him.

"Yeah, I was looking for this sweet shop but I am not being able to find it." He said but fortunately Kim seemed to know it's exact location.

"Oh this one? It's just 'round the corner. Let me walk you there." He said.

Even though Porchay protested a little in the beginning, he agreed after Kim insisted.

Both of them walked together to the shop while trying to make small conversations. From Porchay, Kim got to know that he had returned back to Thailand after completing his studies abroad.

"My brother's about to get married so I wanted to surprise him his favourite sweets but got lost while looking for the shop." He explained the reason for his sudden plan that had turned him into "Pora the explorer."
(Porchay+Dora=Pora lol)

They talked about a number of things on their way but it was Porchay speaking most of the time while Kim was just listening to him patiently and dropping some replies every now and then.

"Here's the bakery you were looking for". Kim announced as he stopped infront of a small but cozy looking place.

After confirming the name Porchay looked visibly elated and relaxed to finally have located it successfully after such struggle.

"Thanks for your help." Porchay smiled at Kim making his heart flutter a little.

"Oh. I didn't introduce myself. Hii, I am Porchay" He introduced himself and extended his hand towards Kim.

"Kim" He said, accepting the handshake.

Waving each other goodbye, they parted ways feeling a little fuzzy and wandering if they would cross paths ever again. The meeting that unfortunately had started on a rough note left them craving to know each other better.

Meanwhile at Teerpanyakul residence:

"Have you seen Vegas?" Pete asked but nobody seemed to have any idea of his whereabouts.

Being woken up by Vegas with a kiss had become an important part of Pete's morning.

"He kissed me quite early in the morning while I was still in deep sleep. I wonder what he was in rush for." Pete muttered to himself. Even though he was in a deep sleep, thanks to his sharp senses he knew Vegas had kissed his forehead before leaving the room and gently closing the door behind him.

While walking aimlessly around the house feeling rather bored and curious at the same time, he was stopped by Porsche.

"Looking for someone?" Porsche asked interrupting his trail of thoughts.

"Do you know where Vegas is?" He asked wondering if he would get any answer. However, Porsche's expressions stiffened up for a moment before he got them under control again but still couldn't escape Pete's eyes that had already caught a glimpse of the sour expression.

"Did something happen to him?" He asked sounding worried.

"Well...nothing but I wouldn't recommend meeting him right now. He's not in the best mood as of now, how about we go out somewhere and you can meet him after he's back" Porsche suggested trying to divert Pete's attention from Vegas but failed miserably.

"You know where he is. Don't you?" Pete asked bluntly giving Porsche no room for making up stories or lying.

Finding no more plausible excuses to give, Porsche sighed and gave up on trying to lie to Pete.

"Yes. But I would strongly recommend not to go to him right now. He's going to come back when he feels like it." Porsche explained but Pete didn't look the least bit interested in the advice.

Eventually giving up, Porsche revealed the location and just like a gust of wind, Pete was out of the door and on his way to his troubled husband.

"I wonder what fate awaits this house." Porsche sighed.

"Don't worry so much. I have a hunch that it's going to be just fine." Kinn's voice echoed through Porsche's ear but before he could turn back, Kinn embraced him from behind and rested his chin on Porsche's shoulder.

"None of us have been able to support him through all these years, I am partially to blame for everything he went through. " Kinn said blaming himself for the situation Vegas was in.

"It wasn't your fault." Porsche tried to convince him but he knew it was futile.

"But what if that day I would have reached a bit earlier...? Maybe I would have been able to save her...maybe the whole family would have still been together...maybe Vegas and I would still be close...like brothers" Kinn eyes lightly teared up while reminiscing the past. Seeing Kinn so emotional Porsche felt helpless but still did all that was in his power to cheer him up.

"He'll forgive you some day, will see the truth. Don't blame yourself for something you didn't do." He said as he turned around and hugged Kinn.

He softly brushed his hair and kissed his cheek. He knew how much Kinn needed that at the moment and was not going to let go of him when he was in such a vulnerable state. Being aware of how terrible it feels to be alone in despair, he was determined to always be by Kinn's side in health and sickness, in better or the worse, in poorer and richer, right by him in every phase of their life that awaited them.
