"Yes I would love too" 

That night we celebrated and Amelia was so happy after listening to my reply.  She jumped in happiness from here and there telling everyone that now she had mom and dad. His happy laughter made Jack's and my heart swell up in happiness. I always wanted her to be my daughter and now she was as I had already signed the papers. 

All the foundation kids were happy for her. She was the favorite of everyone here. They were a little sad knowing she would move with us but they didn't show her and celebrated with her. It has been over a month since that day. Dad, uncle, and aunty come frequently to meet Amelia with gifts for her. They are showering her with lots of love. Why won't they? After all, she is their first grandchild. 

A smile formed on my lip as I remembered Amelia's happy face when dad promised her to take Disneyland. The whole day she was a bundle of joy jumping from here and there. We still stay in the foundation house as I want to spend time with all the kids until my delivery and Jack has not asked me to move back because he knows how much I like it here so we both are still staying here. Now I am sitting in front of my vanity and getting ready for my doctor's monthly appointment as I hear small fast feet running towards my room.

"Mom-mom" Amelia gushes into my room excitedly. 

"Yes baby," I asked as I stood up from my chair and turned to look at her. 

"Dad is here, let's go down fast," she said with a happy and eager smile on her face. 

"Yes let's go," I said while taking her small hand in mine and walking out of the room. I lifted her in my arms as we were ascending down the steps. I saw Jack standing at the base of the steps waiting for us. He frowned looking at us and effortlessly stepped up towards us.  

"Cupcake you should have called me. I would have taken Amelie in my arms. You know it's not good for you to lift anything now" he said in his concerned voice. 

"Yeah I know but I like lifting her in my arms and I doubt it for a long time so don't worry," I said with a small pout on my lips. He moved his head in denial and took my hands in his helping me walk down. Soon we reached down and to his car. He made Amelia sit in the babysitter's in the back while I sat in front with Jack. 

At our appointment, the doctor told us everything was fine with me and the child and my health has become much better than before. Amelia was so eager to see her baby brother or sister in the sonography monitor. We have chosen to not reveal the baby's gender until birth. Whatever God gives us we were happy. After the appointment was over we all had lunch together and then headed back to the foundation house. Today all the girls were coming to meet me as tomorrow was my baby shower. We had decided everything even though aunty Sam and aunty Jennifer had arranged everything. My dress was still not finalized as nothing fits me. 

Matt was going to come too with his maternity gown collection from the last Paris fashion week. He is now settled in Paris with his hot business tycoon boyfriend from the past six months. They both looked so good together and they seemed serious too. He is only coming back for my baby shower and leaving on the same night as his boyfriend wants him to come back to him soon. When I reached the foundation house everyone was already there. Everyone hugged me and then we took our seats while Mrs.Banks brought some refreshments for us. I wanted to help her but she refuses saying I can't work much in this state of pregnancy. 

"Girl you glow so much," said Matt as he saw Jack pecking my lips and going to the room to get some work done. 

"Yeah, I was about to say that," Hazel said with a mischievous smile on her face, making me blush. She was sitting beside me. I know why she gave me that look because she heard Jack saying he will be waiting for me in the room. 

"Should we guys leave now to give you lovebirds some space" she teases me, making me blush after listening to her teasing. 

"Stop teasing her or else my cousin will come here and kick us out," Ava said as she sipped on her juice making everyone laugh. 

"So Matt, what have you brought," Jane asked in her impatient voice while keeping her glass aside. He showed me all his collections and let me tell you every gown was breathtaking. We finally decided I will be wearing a pastel green color gown with a sweetheart neckline and deep U back. It fitted perfectly on my baby bump. It was not too tight or loose. We had ordered our food from outside as we didn't want to increase the Miss. Banker's workload was already doing more than needed. Even though she insisted on making dinner for us we refused.  We all talked about our current life and whatever was going on in our workplace. 

"I miss you at work Ava," said as she ate her noodles. 

"I miss work too but don't worry after I give birth I will again soon join the company," I said with a smile on her face. 

"I'm waiting for that so we can go back to our normal life," she said, dreaming about that day. We again heard the right tone for the tenth time making us all in unison turn our faces to look at Hazel who was eating her food ignoring the ringtone of her cellphone. She groans in annoyance and cuts the call. She has been doing it every time. Who is calling her so many times? We brushed it off and then focused back on our talk of tomorrow, my baby shower. We talked for more than one good hour. Then it was almost time for leave. We again heard the annoying ringtone. Hazel was in the bathroom. 

"Take the call, it seems important," said Jane in her serious voice. 

"Yes she has been ignoring it but what if there is some emergency," said Ava in the same voice as Jane. Matt agreed with her.  I took her cell phone which has been constantly ringing. Call idea was saved as an arrogant jerk. I raised my eyebrows in amusement at her way of saving people's names. I took it and just put it on my ear before I could even say anything. A familiar heavy voice boomed from another side. 

"Do you want me to come there and spank you for ignoring all my calls?" said the person from another side. His words made my lips lift in amusement. 

"I want you here at my apartment in fifteen minutes. If you don't come on time, don't blame me for what I do to your vicious mouth," he said in his same heavy commanding voice which almost gave me goosebumps. I had never heard him talking like that before. 

"Sorry she can't come now because she Is in the bathroom but I will pass on your message to her," I said in my amused voice making him go silent on the other side. 

"Nina," he said in his confirmation voice. 

"One and only. Now listen, stop annoying her, you jerk or I will personally deal with you," I said in my serious voice, making him go silent again. 

"Whatever," said my none other than stupid best friend Skyler Adams, and cut the call. He needs a proper beating from me for hanging up with his friends like that. Girls asked who called and I said it was insurance as I didn't want them to think anything else. While leaving I informed Hazel that I took the call of an arrogant jerk face. She said to ignore him then soon left with the girls. 

The next day came soon and the function started on time with only friends and family invited. Everyone brought gifts for me even Amelia had made a tiara from flowers with help from Jane. Skyler apologized for hanging on me yesterday to which I said it's ok because he had brought my favorite chocolate. Everyone was busy handing me gifts when I saw Skyler dragging Hazel out of the room to God knows where. Something was burning with high flame and smoke was visible to even blind eyes too. It seems like a new story has already begun. Everyone was enjoying it and I was enjoying it too. Jack walked towards me with Amelia in his arms who was sleeping with her head on his shoulder. He stood beside me and wrapped his hands around me making me look at him. 

"I love you," he said with a breathtaking smile on his face. I smiled back at him. I know he means those words and he will be no doubt a great father to our children. From this moment our future is only going to be filled with happy moments like now. So I said the words which were on the tip of my tongue. 

"I love you too"
