I'm going to make you feel like you made me feel. 

I'm going to make you feel insecure and have fun watching you in distress. 

"Just wait for it," I said with a smirk on my face.

“But first I need something to eat. I need the energy to fight against the devil” Jane said while holding her growling stomach with a sheepishly smiling on her face. She has still not eaten her breakfast. I nodded at her and she left for the kitchen. 

"How I'm going to make him feel insecure I whispered to myself while thinking. 

He is full of himself. He thinks everything is his to take and nothing can get away from his hand. How I'm supposed to make him feel insecure when he thinks he can get anything at the snap of his fingers. 

Think Nina, think. 

I chanted in my head. 

He does get insecure about everything but he just chooses the different ways to deal with it. If he thinks something is not going according to his will he tries to solve that problem by using his fist. Remember when he warned Ryan to stay away from you but when Ryan refused to do as he wished he tried to solve this matter by beating Ryan. He did this to every man who tried to come near you. 

Yes, this thing has happened to me all-time. 

My inner voice helped me make me think more deeply about it. He always blames me by saying mean words to me if any boy was interested in me. He tried to show me that I was ugly and that was why I was the one who encouraged those boys. He tried to make me feel guilty when it looked like his chances were becoming less to overpower me. 

He did the same thing by saying I forced myself on him on the night of Jane and Zanvils wedding. He wanted me to feel bad and because of this guilt, I would have stayed away from Skyler or any other man and kept thinking about what I did to him that night. That's why he pulled this trick on me. It's his way of being insecure. 

Yes, why didn't I think about this before? 

If he gets insecure by it then I'm going to do exactly the same thing again. I'm going to show him he doesn't have power over me. But there will be a slight difference this time. I was never involved with any boy before but he still blamed me saying I was. Then this time I'm going to behave like a slut he thinks I'm. His dominating words of declaring that I'm only his are still rooming in my head in closed-loop making me want to punch him hard in his face. He thinks he only has rights to me but I will let him know what the truth is. 

I decide who to let near me, not him. 

After getting everything ready in my head and mentally preparing myself I went down because I was bored sitting in my room for so long. Everyone was sitting in the living room and enjoying their time. Jane was nowhere to be found. Jack was also present there he was sitting and talking with the uncle. 

Good that he is here. 

As I entered the living room his predatory eyes followed me with an evil smirk on his lips. His light brown eyes were lingering at the junction of my neck where his red turning to deep blue mark was lying. I had covered it up with some makeup. His smirk was making me remember what happened in the kitchen. His cockiness made me pissed but I ignored him and started executing my plan. 

"Skyler we have still not taken a good picture of us together," I said with a big happy smile on my face. I said a little loud so it reached Jack's ears. 

Skyler was busy looking at his phone but as soon as he heard me he said "yeah sure I was thinking about it too. Let's take a picture." Saying that he was about to stand but I made me sit back in his place. 

"First let's take a picture here then we will go out and take a picture there," I said with a sweet smile on my face. Skyler looked at me with suspicious eyes but didn't say anything he just nodded at me in yes. I was feeling his heated gaze on my back as he heard what I said. I took out my phone from my jeans back pocket and Instead of taking a seat beside him, I sat in his lap. It caught Skyler off guard but he didn't say anything his body went still for a few seconds but he recovered soon than I expected. As I sat on his lap I felt his hateful gaze boring holes in my body. 

"Wrap your hand around my waist he is looking at us" I whispered with a clenched-teeth while smiling. "Just act cool and don't give me that stunning face" I again whispered with a clenched-teeth smile. 

"I can't get what you girls are up to" he whispers back while wrapping his arm around my waist. 

"Just do what I say," I said with the same smile on my face while looking at him and combing his hair a little with my fingers. 

"Just don't let him beat the shit out of me. He is looking like a mad bull now" he whispers back with a fake smile on his face while pinching my cheek. 

His words made me look at Jack. He was sitting in his seat with a clenched fist and a furious face. His expression was like he would pounce on me and Sky and rip us apart. He looked at me with his angry eyes telling me to get away from Sky lap. His posture made me grip my phone a little tight which was about to slip from my hand. He was in a total predatory attacking mood. 

He thinks looking at his demeanor I will stand up from Skyler's lap then let him live with that delusion. I won't let my plan get ruined like that. With a smile on my face, I rested my back on his hard-built-up chest and took like hundreds of our pictures. Trust me I'm not even a bit of a photogenic person. My face hurt from smiling so much but I can't help it. 

"If you're done get off my lap. You're so heavy" he whispered with a smile on his face making me look at him with narrowed eyes. 

God, I don't even know how we even became best friends in the first place. 

"Thank you for being such a charmer," I said a little louder with a fake smile and kissed on his cheek. He smiled back at me evilly after listening to me. 

"Pleasure is all mine," he said with a smirk on his face. 

"I'm going to upload our pictures on my social media page. So tell me which one should I upload," I said in the same pitch, still resting my head on his chest. 

"Sure he said while securing his hand tightly on my waist. Jack was still looking at us with you both gonna die today. Look in his eyes. As I was lazily shown the picture to Skyler and enjoying seeing Jack in distress from the corner of my eyes. I saw Zanvil entering the living room. 

As soon he saw me sitting on Skyler's lap his eyes immediately found Jacks. He gestures to him asking what's happening with his eyes to which I saw Jack standing up and getting out of the living room with heavy angry steps. Zanvil followed him out. I was looking at all their exchanges of expression from the corner of my eyes. When they both were out of my sight I stood up from Skyler's lap. 

"God, my legs are numb. You should lose some weight" he said while breathing in relief to which I slapped him on his shoulder to which he acted as if I had beat him with an iron rod. 

"Let's go out, they are outside," I said while taking his hand and peeling him off the couch. Skyler lazily walked behind me as I tried to drag him with me. Poking my head out from the back door I saw Jack was having a heated argument like thing with Zanvil. The scene in front of my eyes made an evil smirk form on my lip. "Sky I think my plan is working perfectly," I said with a satisfactory smile on my face. He poked out his head like mine and looked at the two evil guys standing in front of us at some distance. 

"Looks like someone is going to be in so much trouble," he said in his lazy voice. 

"Very funny, let's go outside and continue doing what we were doing,'' I said, taking his hand. I want to see him lose his no one can touch me cool face. Taking his hand I dragged his lazy ass with me. We were only a little away from where Jack and Zanvil were standing when I heard someone calling my name. 

"Nina" listening to it I turned my head in that voice direction. Petros came running in my direction making me turn in his direction. His voice even caught Jack and Zanvil attention. 

"Hey," I said looking at him with a smiling face. 

"Hey sorry about what happened early because of me you would have become sick," he said with an apologetic smile. 

"You don't need to be sorry about it. You didn't know about my allergy. I should be the one to say sorry to you. You picked all fresh fruits for me and I could even taste them" I said with a small sad smile. 

"Trust me you don't have to feel like that. See what I brought for you" he said showing me a basket which was in his hand. 

"I have washed them all you can have them," he said while handing me a basket full of fresh-picked fruit. 

"Aww, you didn't have to do that. Thank you" I said while taking the basket from his hand. "Come here," I said, opening my one arm to hug him. He bent down and hugged me. "It's really so sweet of you," I said with a big overwhelmed smile on my face and I kissed him on his cheeks. He is so sweet. He smiled shyly at me. 

"Guys come inside. lunch is ready" aunty called us all inside. "Petros you too join us" she invited him too. We all went inside from the back door to the living room. Jane entered the living room and her eyes immediately met with Zanvil causing a red tint to form on her cheeks. 

Something definitely happened between this too. 

Oh God did she let him come near her. We all went to the dining room? 

This thought bugged me. We all went to dine together. I was sitting between Jane and Sky while she was sitting beside Petros. Both evil best friends were sitting in front of us with the look of hell on their faces. I looked at Zanvil's face. He looked beyond pissed after seeing Jane talking to Petros. Our plan is also working on her side too. 

“Jane, he is eyeing you like any second soon he is going to throw you on his shoulder and lock you in his room. I think our plan is working” I whispered to her. Our plan was getting successful and it was making me happy. I did enjoy looking at Jack Miller's face in distress. 

Finally, he was losing his cool face. 

“God Jane, your baby needs to control his jealousy, or else he is going to get exposed too early,” I whispered to Jane while looking at him.

“Nina just tries to shift your gaze to another side of Zanvil and see what your baby is doing,” Jane in her teasing voice while gesturing to me to see Jack. My gaze shifted and my body went stiff. He was looking at me with a murderous look in his light brown eyes. When my gaze met with him he did look away but kept looking at me with an intense gaze. It passed a cold shiver to my spine causing me to clench the spoon and knife in my hand more tightly. 

I cleared my throat and whispered, “Just ignore him and baby my foot he doesn't even matter to me you know that.” I said in bitterness but inside me, everything was flipping in all directions. She just nodded after listening to me. We were almost done eating our food. 

“Let's go to watch the movie,” Jane said while looking at Zanvil he looked at her and stopped in his tracks. His spoon was still in the air with food. He was a little bit shocked but had a cool down expression on his face. The surprised look was clearly visible in his sea-colored eyes. He was about to say something when she turned her head at Petros and asked. “What do you think about it" in her happy voice. It almost made me laugh seeing Zanvils face. 

“Movie I'm in, ” Petros said with a smile.

“Nina, Sky what do you think,” She asked while looking at us with a wicked smile on her face. I smile back at her. 

“Of course we are in,” me and Sky said in unison.

“Ok done then,” she said while looking at Jack and Zanvil. Jack looked at Jane in disbelief how she didn't ask him to join us. She ignored him. That is what he deserves for giving such wicked ideas to his best friend. 

He can see a movie with his best friend.

“Are you guys coming too?” Sky asked two devil's best friends. I saw Zanvil curling his fingers in a fist. He clenched it with so much force that his knuckles were turning white. He eyed Jane with so much anger and she just smiled at him. Not letting his anger affect her. 

Jack cleared his throat “Of course, we are coming” he said while looking straight in my eyes with his angry predatory light brown eyes.

“Ok then get ready,” Sky said to everyone. I looked at Satan with a smile on my face. He shot me a glare and the smile disappeared from my face for a fraction of seconds but I recovered soon from it. His eyes were making promises that I'm going to regret everything and he is going to make sure about it. Giving me a hard look Jack stood up letting the chair fall down on the floor. He didn't give a second look at the fallen chair and stomped upstairs.  I let go of my breath which I didn't know I was holding.

We both got ready to leave for a movie. I left my long hair open and wore my denim short skirt with a black body-hugging top with it and applied red lipstick on my lips. I looked good in the mirror and Jane too approved my look with a low whistle. We both went down to see boys were already waiting for us. As I stepped down from the last step I felt his eyes on me. Lifting my head I looked at him. He was eyeing me from head to toe with a clenched jaw. His eyes lingered on my bare legs making them wobble a little as I walked. I tried to maintain my posture and walk properly in my heels not letting his gaze affect me. I stood beside Skyler. 

"Ready," I asked him with a flattering smile while wrapping my hand around his arm. 

"Ready,'' he said with a mischievous smile on his face while playing along with me. We all went out and Jane chose to ride with Petros on his bike against Zanvils protest. On another hand, Jack didn't even ask me my will but was about to forcefully drag me with him. When I ran and sat in the car with Skyler. 

"I will go with Skyler," I said with a thin smile on my face. I'm not a fool to ride a car with Satan himself when he is in the mood of murdering me. He cursed loudly when I got slipped out of his hand making him feel more insecure. I smirked wildly looking at his pissed face in the side mirror of our moving car. We reached the mall and Jane had already bought tickets for us. Zanvil and Jack's seat was behind us which made me happy. Both devil friends came to us with grim faces. 

“Let's go, the movie is about to start,” Petros said to us.

“Oh, I completely forgot. These are your tickets” Jane said while handing tickets to Zanvil. He saw her in confusion. “Come on Petros let's go,” she said while holding his arm.

We were sitting on our seats and Zanvil and Jack were sitting behind our seats in a back row. I and Jane were sitting in between Petros and Jack. I turned back to see the pissed faces of Zanvil and Jack. 

“Why the hell are we sitting back?” I heard Zanvil's pissed voice. Jane snickered listening to his complaint. 

“I don't know dude ask your wife,” Jack said in anger. They were cursing so loudly we could hear everything. I bit my lower lip from stopping myself from laughing. I and Jane just controlled our laughter.

Jane and Petros were talking and laughing because still commercials were going on and I was also talking about the movie trailer with Sky. I was feeling an intense gaze on me and any time soon it was going to pass through my seat and pierce me. 

“What are they talking about and why is she laughing” again I heard Jack's impatient voice. I smirker listening to his voice. He was losing his cool demeanor. 

“Shut up dude I'm at my limit to tear them apart. Fuck with your stupid plan” I heard Zanvil angry voice. 

Take more stupid advice from your best friend. 

After some time they stopped there cursing and I started hearing mumbling sounds and then I heard girls soft laughter.

What is happening?

I immediately turned my head back to see Jack was talking to a blond girl and she was beautiful. Again Jack said something that made her laugh. I couldn't hear what they were saying because they were talking in a low tone.

Wow, rude, and mean Jack Miller is making a girl laugh I can't believe my eyes. 

Like feeling my eyes on him Jack looked at me and smirked. I clenched my jaw in anger and I felt weird in my stomach. I turned my head back to the screen. I don't know why suddenly I felt like this. Throughout the movie, I was not able to concentrate on the movie. When we came out of the theatre I saw them with two blond girls they came out before us. They were laughing and that blond from earlier was touching Jack on his shoulder with a playful smile on her face.

"Looks like they are having fun," Skyler said while looking in front of us at both devil friends smiling like they hit the jackpot. His words made my mood even worse. 

Why I'm feeling like that. I never felt like this before. 

“They are here,” Jack said, seeing as he was talking with a one of a blond girl. Saying that he smirked at me. I averted my eyes away from him and eyed that girl from head to toe.

“Come I will introduce you to them,” Zanvil said to the blonde girl and she smiled at him. “This is Sky, Nina, Petros and Jane” Zanvil introduced us and his eyes lingered on Jane. His face has a small smirk. She shot him a death glare. When he didn't mention that she was his wife.

Jack too didn't mention that I was his fiance. All the time he is rubbing in people's faces on top of his lungs that I'm his fence then what happens now. Did the dog catch his tongue? Seeing my glare his smirk widened. 

“This is Kayla and Kenzie,” Zanvil told us their name. 

Both girls fake smiled at us and said “Nice to meet you guys” followed by her friend. “Are you guys leaving now or we could hang out?” she said while looking at Zanvil and touching his arm.

What they want to tag along with us more. 

“We can hang out at a lake near our farmhouse” I heard Petros saying it. Jane glared at Petros after listening to him. Poor boy, he doesn't know what he did just now.

“Yes we can do that, let's go,” Jack said while looking at me and holding Kenzie's hand. 

Is he trying to make me feel jealous? 

I huffed in disbelief. 

If you are not jealous then what is making you so agitated when he holds that girl's hand. 

My inner voice asked me in her mocking tone. That girl was sticking to him like he was her property and he was not even pushing her away from him. His action was somehow pissing me off even more. I turned my eyes away from him and started to head in the direction of basement parking with everyone. My thoughts were eating me out. 

Now we are all hanging out at the lake near our farmhouse. I shivered a bit as cold air touched my bare arms. The night was at its peak and I was lost in its darkness. 

"Nina, do you want to drink something," Sky asked. I moved my head a little, refusing him with a faint smile on my lips. Involuntarily my eyes moved to Jack who was still standing so close to that Kenzie or whatever. 

The idea of her being so near him did something in my heart. Like feeling my eyes on his he looked at me and before our gaze met I looked away to Jane where she was trying to learn a bike from Petros. 

Everyone here was enjoying their evening except me. I felt even more lonely by standing with so many people around me. I wanted to be alone. Folding my hands around myself I stood there looking at the calm water of the lake when I felt someone standing behind me. 

"What happened," Sky asked while wrapping his hand around my shoulder and pulling me towards him. I rested her on his shoulder. 

"Nothing," I said in my small voice. I was feeling Jack's heated gaze on my back when I did that. We stood like that for some time in absolute stillness. 

"Sometimes it's good to lose the war," Sky said in his calm voice. His words shocked me a little. So many things we're going on inside me. I took a deep breath before asking him a big question. 

"Even when your pride is at risk," I asked in my small voice while lifting my eyes and looking at him. 

"Sometimes it's better to lose pride than losing the thing which we love," he said again in his calm voice, making me look at him with shocked eyes. 

What got into him. How has he suddenly become so wise? 

"When did you become a philosopher," I asked with a playful smile on my face. 

"Just now only for you," he said with the same playful smile. 

"Not bad," I said while patting his shoulder, making him laugh at my actions. Our conversation was interrupted when I heard Zanvil calling Jane's name loudly. It made me and Sky turn to look at what happened. Petros' bike was about to fall on Jane who had fallen down on the ground. I ran towards her followed by Skyler. 

Looking at Jane's bleeding hand Zanvil totally went into rampage mode he was growling at everyone who tried to come near her. He gathered her in his arms and led her to the farmhouse. Not before showing one of the blond girls her place. It made both of them leave. I looked at Jack who was looking at me for so long. I didn't spare him a glance and turned and started walking away from everyone I wanted to be alone for some time. 

"Where are you going?" Skyler yelled from my back. 

"To take a walk alone" I yelled back while not turning to look at him. 

"Don't go far from here or else one of the werewolf's will take you away" he yelled in his mischievous voice. 

"Don't worry I will deal with him" I again said, still not looking back while walking away from them with a small smile on my lips. 

I walked a little away from the farmhouse with my deep thought of what was happening in my life. I didn't want anyone to rule my life and at the same time, I felt the opposite of what I was thinking. I didn't want Jack near me but when he was with someone else something happened in my heart. It spread the feeling of uneasiness in me. Everything was making me so confused. 

I was out of my thoughts when I felt like someone was walking behind me. I immediately turned my head to look who it was but no one was there. I must be imagining things. I again continued my walking when I again felt someone walking behind me. I turned back because this time I was not imaging anything. There was indeed someone who was following me. 

There is a werewolf in this area. 

Skyler words ringing in my head like an alarm. It made my heart beat fast. I started walking in the direction of the farmhouse while taking big steps. I was still feeling someone was following me. God what if a werewolf is coming to get me. I started running and the person also started running behind me. My heart was beating so fast as it would get out of my ribcage and run even faster than me. 

In the distance, I saw a familiar figure standing in front of me and I don't know what came into me that I wrapped my hands around him to hug him tightly. His familiar scent engulfed me making me breathe in relief. He wrapped his hands tightly around me making me melt in his embrace. I felt so safe in his arms. 

"I thought you would never hug me like these," he said in his pleased voice. Behind me, I heard Skyler laughing. I turned my head to look at him. 

"You lost the bet she got scared. I'll be waiting for my thousand dollars," he said with a smirk on his face. I looked at him with angry eyes. 

Is this man even my best friend? 

I tried to get out of Jack's tight hug but he didn't even let me move a bit. 

"Don't worry, the double amount will reach you first thing in the morning" Jack said with an evil smile on his face. With a smirk on his face, Sky left us. 

"Let go of me," I said while trying to get out of his tight embrace. 

"How will I let you go this easily, my wild cat? It was so hard in the first place to get you here," he said with a pleased smile on his face. His words did something in my heart making butterflies flap their wings in my stomach. 

"Go and hug that Kenzie or wherever I don't care. Just let me go" I said in anger. He lifted his hand and cupped my cheek. As his warm hand touched my cold face I wanted to melt in his hands. 

"Jealousy suits you so much," he said while looking into my eyes. 

"Jealous me in your dreams" I huffed bitterly. 

"Let me go, I didn't like you touching me,'' I again said bitterly. He just kept staring at my face all-time while I refused to agree with him. 

"Night is still so young let me decide if you like my touch or not when I touch you in the place where you have never been touched before," he said in his husky voice, kicking air out of my lungs. My body became completely numb as a shiver ran to my spine. He smiled wickedly after seeing color from my face getting drain completely. One thing was clear in my mind. 

This night is definitely going to be the death of me.
