I have to face his wrath for my actions.  

With a clenched jaw and glaring eyes, he stepped back from my personal space giving me one last look he went away from me leaving me behind to look at his back with startled eyes. "Nina, what happened,'' Jane asked me in her low voice but I didn't hear a single word she said.

'Be ready to get your very first punishment' were the only words echoing in my ears like a broken tape recorder.

"Nina" this time she called my name while squeezing my upper arm to bring me back to the earth.

"Hun," I said while looking at her with a blank face, not having a single clue what she said. Looking at my blank face her facial expression changed into a worried one.

"Nina, what did you do this time," she asked me in her same worried low tone as if Satan would suddenly pop out of the thin air to hear her whispering about him. I wanted to roll my eyes at her but I was not in a state of doing it.

Instead, I swallowed the lump in my throat to answer her "Nothing" I said with a little nervous smile. 

I just stamped his leg and hit him with a plate on his forehead, nothing serious. My inner voice said the remaining things.

"Then why did he look pissed just before leaving," she asked me in her suspicious voice.

"Tell me when he is not," I asked, still nervously smiling. I don't know why I'm even feeling nervous. It's not like I will let him do anything to me and punishment my foot. It's not my fault everything happened so suddenly. I didn't beat him on his forehead purposely but I don't regret doing it. Who told him to sit so close to me. I even told him to move away from me but he sat very close to me acting stubborn like a mule.

What does he expect from me in return after stepping in my personal space? 

Listening to me Jane shrugged her shoulder in understanding and said in her normal voice with a small smile "It's just I don't want you guys to fight you know this wedding and all I need both of you beside me."

"Stop worrying about small things Jane. It's his permanent mood nowaday's come let's go" I said with a smile while putting my hand on her shoulder and dragging her to her room. I don't know if I was consoling her or myself.

God, I hate him, his words, his actions are still dominating my thoughts even after he is nowhere in my sight. He has succeeded in making my life upside down in the past day too. I can't let him disturb my inner peace too. I can't let further damage happen to me anymore. I need to be alert all the time and stay the hell away from him. At least twelve feet away from the radar of his predatory light brown eyes.

"Yeah," she replied with a bright smile this time with a slight nod. I'm trying my best not to make her worry because she already has so much on her plate but inside me, butterflies are flying in all directions in anxiety. They are going crazy inside me. I can't control my thoughts about him anymore.

"By the way in what you need my opinion," I asked her to divert my thought process while going into her room. I was still breathing in and out to not appear nervous in front of her anymore. If she sees my nervous state she will definitely be suspicious about my behavior and then I have to tell her whole story because I won't be able to control my mouth then. I'm dying to tell her everything but I can't burden her with my problems too.

"I want your opinion in choosing jewelry. I have to wear them after tomorrow in my engagement. You know aunty had bought so much jewelry for me against my protest and now I can't decide what to choose to wear on my engagement" she exhaled while entering her room with me. I nodded my head in understanding. It's me when aunty Sam buys me clothes against my protest. We both sat on her bed and she opened her box showing so many neckpieces and earrings and bracelets and whatnot.

It made me look at her with wide eyes "I'm not helping you" I said moving my head in denial. I'm not a jewelry type girl, she knows it nor she is.

"Please Nina, you're my last hope. I know you are not a jewelry type but still, you can at least help me choose one from all of this," she said with pleading eyes.

"Don't wear any problem solve?" I said while lying on my back on her bed. Instantly knots in my back released as soon as they touched the soft mattress making me sign in comfort. Lying on a soft mattress was already tempting me to close my eyes. God, I missed the bed the whole day. I closed my eyes and was about to move and lay on my stomach to rest for some time but Jane's pleading voice stopped me.

"I thought about it too but aunty Jennifer bought them with so much love for me. I can't do this with her. Please help me choose one as you have a better sense of it than me" she said in her pleading voice while flashing me her puppy eyes. I thought about it. She is right about it. Aunty has bought her jewelry with so much love. I couldn't even say no aunty Sam to wear the clothes she bought for me. How did I expect Jane to upset aunty Jennifer by not wearing a single piece of jewelry on her own engagement?

"Ok let's do it," I said, separating my body from the soft material of the bed against my body's protest. Hearing me her eyes lit up in hope.

"Thank you," she said happily and hugged me, making me laugh with her.

"Ok ok let's do, how can I refuse a bride to be but let's do fast so I can rest a little bit," I said when she separated her body from mine.

"Yeah let's do it," she said with a smile and slight nod while keeping the box in front of me. Making the choice was so hard we almost spent an hour on finalizing what will perfectly match with her engagement gown. We chose a low neckpiece as her gown has a low neckline and ruby studs with a golden silver bracelet that goes perfectly with her outfit. "It's final you will wear them on your engagement day," I said in my exhausted voice and lying back on the bed with my eyes closed.

"Yes," she said with a satisfactory smile on her face while collecting all the scattered jewelers on the bed and keeping them properly in the box.

"God, I'm so exhausted," I said, grabbing the pillow to rest my head on it while lying on my stomach.

"Yes, you should rest after all you were working all day. You must be tired" she said, placing everything in the box.

"Hmm" I hummed enjoying the comfort of the bed.

"I will go down and help aunty in the kitchen," she said while keeping the box in the wardrobe.

"One last question before I drift into my sweet sleep," I said with my eyes still closed.

"Yeah what is it," she said, closing the door of her wardrobe and coming near my bed to hear my question.

"You and Zanvil didn't do any dirty deeds on this bed right," I asked in my amused voice while opening my eyes to look at her face. I don't want to miss the opportunity of seeing her cute blushing face. Like I expected, hearing my question, her face became red like a tomato.

"Nina" she yelled at me in her hush voice making me laugh hard. Taking one of the pillows she threw on me. Making me laugh even hard. I just love to tease my innocent friend. Leaving me laughing she went down to help aunty. I bet she must be still blushing.

I just can't believe how devil Zanvil got her. Sometimes fate plays with you putting you in funny situations. Like the one in which Jane is now. Think about all the mess of her life and mine. I don't know when I drifted to sleep.

The night was so dark today only moonlight was seeking inside the bedroom from the window and falling on me. The calmness of moonlight was pushing me into more deep sweet slumber. I was sleeping peacefully after so long. Taking a deep breath I moved the blanket more to my uncovered chest where night's cool air was tickling on my bare shoulders. 

Though, somehow my blanket failed to reach my bare shoulders. But I was still in comfort as the cool air of the night was replaced with warm air and was tickling my bare shoulders making me deeply sigh in leisure as I liked this newfound warmness on my cold skin. Soon that warm air was replaced with a hot touch of lips. It trailed up from my bare shoulder to my collar bone. They rested there for a few seconds while nibbling and kissing my sensitive skin but before I could moan they trailed up to my neck following a path of warm kisses on it.

They settled down on my neck and started nibbling on my delicate skin with teeth. The touch of those warm like was so soft that I sigh almost moan at the soft touch. The lips didn't halt there but continued its path to my jaw and cheeks spreading tinglings on my pale skin. My breath quickened as I felt these warm lips touch the corner of my lips. It was just a mere touch. It almost made me protest because they were not touching my cold skin and spreading its warmness on my cold skin anymore. But my riot didn't last long as I felt those like hovering above mine and in no time those wet warm lips touched mine so softly.

I jolted up in horror while clenching my blanket to my chest like it would be snatched out from my hand any second.   With another hand, I moved the hair from my face and wiped sweat beads forming on my forehead and face. I rested my fisted hand on my chest where my heart was wildly beating inside my rib cage.

"It felt so real" I whispered under my breath, still moving my hand on my chest to ease my wildly beating heart. How long did I sleep even though Jane didn't wake me up? I thought while taking in my surroundings.

"Wait a minute. Why does Jane's bedroom look like mine?" I whisper yelled at this time. Because idiot you are in your own bedroom. "How the hell do I reach my place? Did I sleepwalk from Addam's mansion to my house?" I again whispered yell in horror while removing my blanket and getting out of bed.

"Last thing I remember sleeping in Jane's bedroom. God what is happening?" saying that in a panic I ran out of my room and downstairs at the dining table where dad was having his breakfast. Looking at me he stopped in the middle of eating his toast while looking at me with afraid eyes.

"Quite your plans of giving me a heart attack by appearing in front of me looking like a ghost. I don't want to start my day by looking at your ghost face very first thing in the morning" he said in his baffled voice.

I ignored his comment and asked him in my fright voice "Dad did I sleepwalk from Addams mansion to our house." He looked at me seriously after listening to my question and it made my heart sink further. 

He kept the toast back on his plate and looked at me with a serious face and said "Yes." 

"Oh God," I said, sinking in a chair beside him.

"You know you were sleepwalking in the middle of the road and then the police caught you in your sleepwalking state in the middle of the road. You told them your name and I came to take you away from the police station. Do you even know how worried I was?" he said in a serious voice while looking at me.

I can't believe I sleepwalked to my house and why didn't anyone in Addams house see me sleepwalking? Because people sleepwalk with open eyes stupid. My inner voice announced. They must have thought I must be going home. It only explains how I reached here.

"What!" I exclaimed with wide eyes and with a troubled face while putting both hands in my hair. I moved them back and looked at dad. "Dad, I think it's serious we should go to the doctor. What if someday I sleepwalk out of this house and next day you receive a call saying I was killed with the car because of sleepwalking in the middle of the road," I said with the same stressed expression while looking at his serious face.

Suddenly dad started laughing making me look at him with narrowed eyes "dad I'm serious" I announced in bitterness.

"But I'm not," he said laughing loud this time.

"Dad," I said in annoyance.

"Ok ok sorry God you walked straight into my trap," he said, still laughing hard.

"You mean I didn't sleepwalk then how the hell I was sleeping in my bedroom," I yelled in irritation. It's a very stupid prank. But some were inside me saying sleepwalking was a good reason compared to what I was going to hear now from dad's mouth. Suddenly I didn't want to know how I reached my bedroom.

"Jack brought you home back while you were sleeping like a dead woman in his arms," he said, wiping out the remaining tears that slipped from his eyes due to laughing hard.

"What! why does he have to bring me back like a sleeping toddler?" I said in irritation. 

"They all tried to wake you up but you were sleeping like a dead woman so that's why he brought you home back in your sleeping state," he said, wiping out the last remains of his tears. I think exhaustion took over me last night. "It's good he brought you back because of him. I was able to laugh after seeing your ghost face," he said and continued eating his breakfast. 

Folding my hands on my chest, I leaned back on the chair and looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"Very funny it was a stupid prank of eternity. Wait till I get back on you," I said in my grim voice while still looking at him with narrowed eyes and standing up from my chair. Listening to my comment he moved his head in amusement. I turn around to go to my room to shower and change.

"Don't forget to eat your full breakfast. I'm leaving for office" he yelled behind my back making me move my head in amusement. I went straight to my bathroom and took a relaxing warm shower to open the knots in my body as I slept so much. I felt relaxed as hot water touched my sore parts of the body. 

Wearing my bathrobe I stood in front of my bathroom vanity to apply some moisturizer on my skin. As I was applying it my eyes felt on my neck and collar bone. There were deep pink marks on my skin and suddenly the dream of last night flashed in front of my eyes and reality hit me like a brick.

It was not fucking a dream. Satan was doing those things to me in my sleeping state. He took advantage of my sleeping state.

I balled my fist in anger. "I'm gonna give him the same deep pink mark on his jaw with my fist," I said in full determination while eyeing my fist. But suddenly his yesterday's words echoed in my ears again like a broken tape record-making me unclench my fist and touch the mark on my body. I still remember how his lips moved on my skin and it made me gulp at my memories.

Nina, don't walk straight into his trap as you walked into your dad's. He purposely did it so you go straight to him to take your revenge and he will trap you to give you his punishment. My smart inner voice said making me think about it. Yes, she is right that's what Satan wants me to do but I won't let that happen. My only goal is to stay away from him from now onwards. 

Yes, it's the only way to avoid him and help aunty Jennifer in wedding preparations without getting tangled in his mess. I nodded at my reflection in the mirror in agreement with my inner voice. Today was the last day of decoration and arrangement as tomorrow was the engagement party. I applied the counselor on the marks to cover them and then got changed into my clothes. I actually wore a turtleneck top to hide his ugly unwanted marks on my body even more.

Today I took dad's advice and ate my complete breakfast and then left for Jane's place. We had a parlor appointment today to pamper and prepare Jane for tomorrow's party. I and aunty also had today's appointment to give a relaxing massage and groom ourselves a little for tomorrow.

"Are you guys ready?" I asked Jane and aunty who was waiting for me in the living room.

"Yes," both of them said with happy faces making me laugh.

"Ladies, are you ready for your pampering day," Zanvils dad asked with a smiling face while coming out of his office

"Yes," we all replied with the same happy face making him laugh.

"I will tell the driver to prepare a car for you all," he said.

 "No it's not needed because we are taking my car," I said showing him my car keys. 

"Ok, you guys have fun. Don't worry about the arrangement here I will take care of it" he said to aunty Jennifer in his loving voice while kissing on aunt Jennifer's forehead making me and Jane look at them with loving eyes.

I bet we had a heart shape pupil now. They are such a loving couple. Aunty and uncle Addams and aunty Sam and uncle Richard's couple are true relationship goals. I don't know how happy loving relations like them have given birth to two evil souls. Those stupid men don't even know what love means. I huffed in annoyance at my misfortune and looked at Jane. She had the same identical expression as me on her face. This time we both sigh at our misfortune.

"You don't run all over the place to check everything. I have explained everything to Josh and Jack is on his way here. So don't take stress" she said while getting her bag from the couch.

"Yes, honey. You all enjoy your time" he said with a bright smile making us small in return. Saying our byes we all came out of the house. We all were about to enter my car but stopped in the middle of it as we saw a familiar car approaching us. He came out of his car flashing his devilish smile to us looking at his face made my blood boil like anything. I fisted my fist but I swallowed my anger remembering the advice of my mind.

"You all lady's going somewhere," he asked while looking at us. I couldn't tell whom exactly he was looking as he was wearing his black shades. I huffed in annoyance as his voice made the fire of hate go wild inside me. Aunty explained everything to him while I kept scrolling on my phone. I felt his heated gaze on me while I was lazily scrolling on my phone. I got a message from him and I accidentally clicked on it. Shit! I instantly cursed at my dumb act but anyways read his message 

"Are you ignoring me, wild cat?" While reading it I could hear his intending voice in my mind but I didn't lift my head to look at him.

Don't he know I have been trying to ignore him from the very first day I saw him?

I did feel like replying to him. I closed my phone and asked aunty in my calm voice. "Are you done, aunty? We are getting late" I said with a small smile without sparing him a single glance.

"Yes let's go," she said and sat in the car with Jane. His heated gaze was piercing straight through me but I still didn't look at him. In the rare mirror of the car I saw him looking at my car till it disappeared from his sight. I let go of my breath when he was completely out of my vision. I don't even know why I was holding my breath.

We spent almost half the day in the parlor getting pampered and let me tell you it felt like heaven. It was almost noon when we left the parlor. When we all entered the Addams house we saw Zanvil and his dad discussing something and Jack came out of the kitchen holding a bottle in his hand when my eyes met with his predatory light brown one he flashed me his signature smirk. His eyes moved from my face to my turtleneck and his smirk widened even more making me roll my eyes at his foolish act. He didn't like me rolling my eyes. I could tell it from his facial expression. From behind, I heard a familiar voice and it instantly lit my mood turned around to look.

"Skyler" I screamed his name with a big smile on my face and ran towards him to hug him. I almost jumped on him but he was successful in catching me. Jane laughed looking at my monkey jump. "Why didn't you tell us you were coming? We would have come to pick you up," I said with a bright smile on my face.

"Well if I had told you I would have missed seeing these beautiful surprise faces," he said while side hugging me and Jane. 

"Thank God you're here. I missed you so much" I said still side hugging him.

"Me too" Jane joined me.

"Let's go, we have so much to talk about," Jane said in her excited voice but Zanvil stopped her.

"Jane come with me I have something to talk with," he said with a serious face and Jack too joined him "Nina, come with me I have something to talk with you too" he had a serious look on his face too.

"We will talk later" we both ignored them and went to Jane's room to talk. We talked so much Skyler told us about him shifting back to New York as he opened a new main office here. But the highlight of the whole talk was he was talking about a girl on a plane who pissed him off and how he wanted to throw her out of the plane.

Well, that was new to us. I want to meet this girl who pissed him off.

We all had dinner together and at the dinner table, Jack's heated gaze was fixed on me. He was trying to bore holes in me by his predatory eyes but I ignored him and kept talking with Jane and Skyler who were telling us his funny stories. I don't know how time went and now we are preparing for an engagement party. I first need to get her ready then I need to get ready.

"Ok, Jane did," I said with a big smile while looking at my masterpiece.

"How do I look don't you think it's a little revealing?" she asked while eyeing her reflection in the mirror.

I put my hand on her shoulder and turned her around to look at me and said in my genuine voice "No it's not. You are looking breathtakingly gorgeous" listening to me she smiled warmly at me. "Now you have to go down, everyone must be waiting for you. I will come down after changing" I said, collecting my clothes to change. From her face I know she didn't want to go alone but she has to do it on her own. "Jane you can do it" I tried to give her strength.

She nodded at me with an understanding smile and left to go down. I changed into my clothes as soon as possible and did my makeup and hair fast so I don't miss my best friend's engagement. In a hurry, I came out of her room and headed to the party area.

I was wearing a royal blue gown and it has already started to give me a headache. While ascending down from the stairs I kept on managing the high slit of the gown which was coming between my legs and showing my whole bare leg it was making walking hard for me but however I managed to climb down from the stairs elegantly. Before stepping down from the last stairs I looked up and my breath hitched. Half of the people we're looking at me and it makes me feel conscious about myself but I didn't let it come to my face. As I moved further I felt everyone going silent bestie me. They all stop talking and stare at me. 

Do I look that bad in these gowns?

My eyes started to find a familiar figure in the crowd. In the distance, I saw him talking with some people and drinking wine. The person who was talking to him went silent when his eyes fell on me. Looking at that person's expression he turned lazily to look back while sipping his wine and as soon as his eyes fell on me. He almost spits his wine back into his glass. 

He has never reacted this way before. Judging from his face it's confirmed I look so bad in this gown.

I felt like running back to the room but his predatory light brown eyes kept me pinned on my pace as they were moving from my face to my neck where his marks were hiding under the makeup. His predatory eyes went hard when he couldn't see his marks but his light brown eyes didn't stop there and kept moving to my bare shoulders to my bust. His heated gaze made them go heavy because of self-consciousness.

His eyes moved further to the slit of my leg and I saw how he gripped his wine glass more tightly. His darkened light brown eyes moved back to my face. I don't know for how long he kept staring at me. But as soon as he took one step in my direction my heart started beating fast. I wanted to avoid him at this party but he was the first known person I saw at this party.

Where should I run now? 

As I turned to run my face bumped into a hard chest lifting my eyes up I saw Skylar looking at me mischievously and asked in the same tone while lifting his one eyebrow "Gorgeous, Where are you running to?" I straightened my back and took a peek behind me in a hurry and saw Satan looking at me with angry eyes. My face was a little flushed because of Skyler's cheesiness.

I averted my eyes and looked back to Sky and answered in my confident voice "Nowhere." Listening to me he looked behind me and his mischievous smile widened making me curse in distress.

Now he knew from whom I was running away.

"Are you sure?" he asked, quickly. I couldn't hold my brave face anymore in front of him.

"Please keep him away from me," I said in my pleading voice.

"Was that hard?" he asked with a smirk and placed his hand around my waist. At the same time, I felt a presence behind me and familiar cologne engulfing the air I breathe. I didn't dare to look behind. "Hello Jack," he said with an evil glint in his eyes and then looked at me. "Let's go beautiful, Jane is waiting for you," he said with the same smirk but his eyes kept looking at Jack who was trying to bore holes in my back with his heated gaze.

He took me away from him where Jane was standing like a lost puppy. I took a deep breath to calm my wildly beating heart as I was still feeling his heated gaze on me. I gave an encouraging smile to Jane who looked nervous as hell. She faintly smiled back at me. I was trying my best to give her courage but inside me, butterflies were flying all over in nervousness. Unknowingly I moved my gaze and I saw him standing beside Zanvil. His eyes were fixed on me and he was staring at me without blinking. It was making breathing harder for me.

The ceremony started soon and I stayed beside Jane to stay safe but soon the ceremony was done and everyone started to enjoy the party. I wanted to stick to Jane throughout the whole party but that devil Zanvil dragged my anxious Jane away from me. Now I was left all alone with people dancing on the dance floor. "Don't worry your bodyguard is beside you" said the mischievous voice in my ear making me finch in my place.

"Skyler," I whispered, yelled, and beat him on his chest lightly.

"Oh God I'm enjoying this so much," he said with an evil glint on his face.

"You are enjoying what?" I asked, taking a sip of my wine in boredom.

"Your and Jack's hide and seek," he said in his amused voice, making me stop drinking my wine.

"There is no hide-and-seek between us," I said, breaking each syllable in my irritated voice.

"Really….What the hell is she doing here?" he suddenly yelled with an angry tone.

I followed his gaze and my eyes felt on familiar figures and this time I looked at him with an evil glint in my eyes and asked "She is the one who pissed you off on a plane" 

"You know her," he asked with his eyes still fixed on her, who was busy talking with some lady.

"Yes she is Zanvil's secretary," I said casually.

"I'm not letting her go this time," he said in his pissed voice and was about to go in her direction.

But I stopped him with my hand on his and said with a big smirk on my face "She is not your cup of tea" I know how strong head girl she is. I like her personality very much.

Listening to me he smiled evilly at me and said "then I know how to make her my cup of coffee."

"Best of luck," I said in a challenging tone. It will be fun seeing him roaming around her.

He smirked and moved his eyes behind me "Same to you" and went away from my sight. When realization sank in, I whirled to find him standing behind me.

"Miss me'' he said with a pure satanic smirk but before I could run away he gripped my hand and dragged me out of the house in the garden against my protest. It was raining outside but it didn't stop him from dragging me. When I trashed and tried to run away from him he pinned my hand behind my back on my waist with his other hand going in my hair and he smashed his lips to mine making my body go numb and my heartbeat wildly. His hard kiss was telling me how angry he is. His hard body was pining mine with so much force. Heavy rain was drenching our clothes but it didn't stop him from kissing me even hard. I was feeling breathless but he was not letting me breathe so I bit his lower lip almost drawing blood out of his lower lip to make him stop. He spared my lips with little blood on his lower lip. With raging eyes, he looked at me, almost making me run away from him.

"You are so dead" he growled on my lips making me gulp in fear. Next thing I know he lifted me on his shoulder making me yell and beat on his hardback.

"Where the hell are you taking me" I yelled while dangling on his shoulder and still beating my fists on his hardback. My beating didn't have a single effect on him but the next words from his mouth made my body go numb.

"To punish you," he said in his dominating voice. A heavy lump formed in my throat and my traitor's inner voice screamed.

You are doomed, Nina Rogers.
