“Yes,” she replied in the same excitement. We started dancing happily.

“Shit” we heard boys saying it in a union. We turned our faces to meet there. Both were standing with clenched jaws.

The Colour from their faces was a drain. Looking at their pissed faces, Jane and I smile at each other, sharing a meaningful glance. 

The fun has now started. I thought with a smirk on my face. After we were done with our happy dance I and Jane excitedly started discussing how we are going to spend our time when Skylar comes back. Our excitement is at a peak because we will be meeting him almost after one and a half years.

He is busy setting up his new business with his family business as he too stepped upon the CEO's position. Even though we didn't get time to meet each other In-person in the past year we always talked on our group chat and kept updating all of us about our progress and ups and downs. He was our partner in crime turned into our bestie. We have executed so many pranks together on Jack and Zanvil.

Even though he is Zanvil's cousin, he was always on my and Jane's side. I remember when Skylar acted like my boyfriend when I told him about the fight between Jack and Ryan and how I got hurt because of them. He saw how upset I was because of all this. After all that mess I just wanted to keep Satan away from me so Skylar came to my rescue. He was always on my side so he could keep Jack away from me whenever he tried to come near me and for that, I love Skylar.

He has such a big heart even though he had a crush on Jane he still acted like my boyfriend to help me and it made Jack mad. He was pissed and was finding opportunities to bully me all the time but we didn't give him any opportunity until I did very big stupidity and went to Jack's birthday party when Skylar went back home. Aunty Sam invited me personally so I couldn't refuse her. That day's memory still passes shiver to my spine. I still hate that day so much. I took a deep breath, closing my eyes to remove the unwanted memory of that day from my mind.

"Are you ok Nina?" Jane asked me looking at my tense expressions with a little frown on her beautiful face.

"Yes I'm totally fine," I said with a small smile moving my eyes from her to Satan who was standing behind her.

He was looking at me all the time with a look in his eyes. Like he has the power to see right through me and know my deepest secret. I always hated it when his predatory gaze tried to analyze me. His light brown eyes were always set on me, calculating each and every move of mine; the stares of his light brown eyes never failed to give birth to this uneasy feeling inside me. I couldn't stand his gaze anymore. I averted my eyes from him and gave Jane a slight nod assuring her that I'm fine. Nodding back at me with a small smile she went back to the room to charge her cell phone.

I moved my head a little as if it would remove all the bad memories from my brain. I was so happy after listening to this happy news I didn't want to spoil my mood thinking of bad past memories. I took one more breath like giving the courage to myself to remove those unwanted memories from my brain but I was not able to concentrate on my single thought as I was constantly feeling his burning gaze on me and it was making me remember more unwanted things.

I need to get away from him.

So ignoring him I too moved inside the living room where I kept plates and cola bottles. The only thing which was making me happy now that Skylar was coming back. I miss Skylar so much I hope he comes back soon. It's been so long since we all had fun together. When he will come back I and Jane are going to have lots of fun like old times  Thinking about it brought a smile to my face. I brought plates and cola from the kitchen but I forgot to bring chips.

With a small smile on my face, I turned back to bring it but as soon as I turned my head clashed with a very hard chest. I hissed in pain and started massaging my head. Lifting my eyes I saw Satan was staring at me with a calculating gaze. Why is he standing so close to me and when the hell he followed me without letting me know. Still rubbing my forehead I looked at him with angry narrowed eyes. Only his existence is enough to make my mood foul.

What is he still doing here I thought he got lost with his stupid friend but instead, he followed me inside.

"What are you doing here?" I asked with narrowed eyes.

"Don't forget about our contract in the excitement of your ex-boyfriend's arrival?" he said while glaring back at me. I huffed in annoyances listening to him but inside I smirked evilly maybe again with help of Skylar I can keep him away from me.

"Do you think after play dirty trick on me you can make me remember that stupid contract?" I said in anger. "Let me tell you something I will never ever do what you want," I said in my firm voice, making him clench his jaw in anger after listening to me. 

"Tattoo my words on your forehead so you won't forget it next time. You are going to remember that contract for as long as you live on this earth because we both know I'm going to make you sign that contract with or without your will," he said with an evil smirk. Making me clench my fist in anger.

How badly I want to punch his stupid confident face. He thinks he will do anything with me and I will happily agree with him than he is wrong. 

"In your dreams, I will do it. We both know it was not me in the first place who was supposed to sign the contract with you. So you can keep making me sign as many as contracts in your dream because, in reality, it won't happen ever," I said and tried to move away from him while glaring at him but he slipped his left hand around my waist stopping me from going away from him whilst making my front clash with his hard chest with his vice grip on my waist. A small gasp left my mouth because of his sudden action.

"See how easy it was for me to stop you moving an inch away from me. Do you think I will let you go that easily and let my hard work go in the drain just like that?" he said looking in my eyes making my heartbeat fast. I swallowed hard placing my hands on his hard chest to make some distance between us. The hidden promise in his words was passing an unwanted shiver in my body. 

I tried my best to glare at him but his open confession of making me succumb to his evil agenda makes me weak in my knees. I tried to take a deep breath to calm myself but his scent was all over my nose making me intoxicate. See it's one of many reasons I don't like him coming into my personal space. His open declaration of making me his so he could get what he wants making my tongue tie.

Nina, you can stay mute you have to raise your voice. He can force you to do things against your will and that too by choosing the path of manipulation.

"You will never get successful in getting what you want by manipulating innocent people. Do you think blackmailing me will make me sign that bloody contract?" I said making my voice sound firm but inside I was doubting myself. The way he chooses to blackmail me is having an effect on me because this time he has attacked my soft spot but I can't let him know. Listing to my words his hands around my waist which were making small circles became tight making me hitch on my breath. His grip was stronger than before on my waist like telling me I can't free myself from him and not even from what he has a plan for me in the future.

His touch brought back those unwanted feelings which I buried deep inside me from the past year. Even if I show that I'm tough from outside and his nearness doesn't have any effect on me but deep down I know the truth. I took one deep breath. The only thing I was able to do to free myself from his grip is to glare at him because my always ready to strike hands felt so weak in his presence. I swallowed hard while looking at him.

My hard glare was telling him to let me go but he just smirked looking at my face like he read me. Like he knows what was going on in my head. He knows his nearness has an effect on me and that's why he always comes so near me to make me succumb to his evil plans. Then he lifted his hand and cupped my face moving his face near me. I felt a sparking sensation on my cheeks when his cold hand touched my sensitive skin. I never liked his closeness. I involuntarily closed my eyes when his hand touched my face.

I don't want him near me. I can't stand his closeness to my body. I repeated this in my mind. 

Why because he makes you feel something weird in your stomach or is it his touch that makes you feel things which you can't control or things which you don't want to feel? 

My inner voice asked the question which never raised in my mind before. I tried to find an answer to it but inside my head, everything was blank. It was pitch black in all corners we're I tried to find an answer. I was not able to come up with any answers. That thought made me feel breathless. I couldn't even breathe in his scent because it was making me, my body intoxicated. His thumb moved on my slightly parted lips making me close my eyes more tightly as if it was even possible. I started feeling his warm breath tickling my skin, making me clench his shirt tightly, and next thing I know his lips were on me. The mere touch of his lips on my made me come out of my daze. Stop this Nina before you lose yourself to his evilness. Gathering my all courage I pushed him hard and the next thing he knew my fist met with his jaw. I looked at him with glaring eyes. 

How could he do this to me? If he thinks by coming near me he would get successful in manipulating me then he is the biggest fool of this world. 

"I'm warning you to get lost from in front of my eyes before I kill you with my bare hands," I said with a clenched jaw still breathing heavily. All the questions in my head, his mere touch of lips on mine were messing with my head so bad. If he kept standing in front of me and kept provoking me like this I don't know what I will do next. Seeing my outburst he smirked and knew he had successfully gotten into my skin. 

With a big smirk, he again stepped into my personal space again standing so near me. I again took one more deep breath to control my throbbing nerves. "Why is someone coming here to meet you," he asked, bringing his face near me. "Or to be more specific your beloved lover  Grayson is coming over to meet you," he asked with a fire pissed voice. 

What! From where the hell poor Grayson comes between all of this mess.

"Let me tell you something, my wild cat. If you both try to pull the stunt you pulled on me back then mark my words it will be the last time you will ever see him alive," he said in his firm voice, making my body shrivel in unwanted fear when he said alive. He can threaten me like that.    

I was about to answer him when I heard the arguing voices of Jane and Zanvil. He too was threatening Jane that if Grayson meets her he will break his bones. "What problem you two idiots have with Grayson," I asked in my annoyed voice. 

"It doesn't matter he can't come here, that's final," said Jack in his firm voice. 

"That's what I'm telling you. Thanks, dude" Zanvil said to Jack they both flash each other a smirk of support but Jack's next words caught us off guard. 

"From when you started wearing lip gloss," he asked Zanvil, making him confused but it clicked him in second. Next thing he turned his lips and Jane's face was burning red due to embracement. "Don't rub it, let it be, it suits you" Jack teased him again.     

"Well I can say the same thing for you, it suits you too," Zanvil said with a smirk and Jack gave him an evil smirk making me and Jane annoyed. 

"You both get lost before I kill you," Jane said in her pissed voice and then we both pushed those heavy animals out of my apartment and closed the door with a thud on there stupid smirking faces. We both slumped done on the door in exhaustion. "How does Jack know about Grayson? He was not even here when we became friends with him," Jane asked me with furrowed brows.  

I just flashed her a small faint smile and told her what happened on that day when I was going for an internship. How Jack did things to me because I kissed Gray on that day. I told him he was my boyfriend to piss him off but everything came back upon me. It all backfired on me. That was the day when this stupid deal took place between us. "How we got this stupid passive means in our life," I said staring at the wall remembering all the thinks till now Jack has done to me. 

"I asked the same question about what we did to please God to get them in our lives" I could sense the sarcasm dripping in her voice. At the same time again we heard a knock on the door.

"What the hell they want now?" I said in my annoyed voice. "Don't open the door. I will go and get something to break that Jack skull open" saying that I ran to the kitchen and got a frying pan. Holding it in the air I open the door to meet with the frightening face of a teenage pizza delivery boy. 

"Please don't beat me I'm only ten minutes late you can have this pizza for free," he said in his frightened voice. With an embarrassed face, I took the pizza from him and paid him extra as an apology. 

"Jack is messing with your brain so bad," Jane said laughing hard at me. 

Tell me something I don't know. 

Then we eat pizza talking about random things and then we retire to our bed feeling tired from our all-day events. The next day I went to Addams's house to meet aunt Jenifer and then I ate a delicious breakfast made by her. I missed her food so much. She is like a mother figure in our lives as Jane and I both don't have our mother in this world. Stupid Jack was also present as if he knew I will come there first thing in the morning.

When we were having our lunch aunty told Jane that Zanvil's dad wants to talk about something important with Zanvil and her. She was tense all the time thinking about what he wanted to do with them. Before leaving the house I told her not to take tension and stop panicking about it. She will come to know about it when he tells her. She nodded at me but I knew she was still tense inside. Saying bye to all of them I stepped out of the house. I looked at the sky it's a good sunny day. I whispered under my breath with a small smile on my face still looking at the sky. Somehow looking at the blue sky made my mood good. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in the fresh air letting air run in my veins. 

It's a good day to return home.

I have already told my house butler to bring my luggage back home from my apartment and now I was waiting for my cab. After five minutes a car came in front of me and stopped. I ignored it and kept looking at my phone. Dad had messaged me asking me when I'm coming back. I was replying to his message when the car window rolled down and a familiar face came into my view. "Get inside the car," he said while taking his sunglasses away from his eyes.

His eyes look more light in the sun.

I slash that thought and walk a little further away from his car and continue waiting for my cab. Why is it taking so long? He again drives his car near me making me look at this irritated light brown yes. "Get in the car before I make you," he said in his warning voice. As if I will obey him. My wait was over at the same time my cab arrived. 

Averting my eyes from the arrived cab I looked at him "No need to waste your energy my cab is her" I said and moved to sit into the cab before I could sit inside the cab door shut with a thud. And then he gripped my wrist while dragging me to his car and making me sit in it like always he locked the car with the child lock making me look at him in anger.

"Open the door you can't force me like that" I shouted but he just ignored my shouting. I saw him paying for my cab and then he came back to sit inside with me. I will not sit beside him. I was about to go and sit in the back seat but he caught my hand and fastened my seat belt not letting me go. I was about to remove my seat belt but he drove the car so fast making me clenched my seatbelt for my life. "What the hell is wrong with you. Drive slow!" I shouted and looked at him in horror but listening to my shouting he drives faster. He was driving the car without sparing me a glance. If I shout more he will drive faster. It was better for me to shut my mouth if I wanted him to slow down.

As soon as the car stopped in front of my house I unfasten the seat belts very fast and step out of the car gasping for air. I was holding my breath throughout the ride. My head was spinning because of his mad driving. Through the drive, I was clenching my seatbelt for life. I didn't spare him a single glance and kept moving in the direction of my house. Still, with a spinning head, I moved in the direction of my house and reached the front door. I was about to ring the bell when he took hold of my wrist in his firm grip while making my body turn and clashed with his hard chest. It happened so fast my head started spinning again. His hand took hold of my back in his firm grip to pin me to his hard chest. Like he knew it was hard for me to stand because of the spinning head. I didn't protest and rested my spinning head on his chest.

He removed my hair from my neck then he rubbed his nose on the sensitive skin of my neck spreading tinglings all over my pale skin. He took a deep breath like calming himself and some were me too. Then he whispered the words from which I was running from the past year.

"Face the reality my wild cat you won't be able to run away from me. I won't let you. Next time when I asked you to sit in my car nicely obey me, my lovely fiance," he said in his serious voice while pressing his lips on my throbbing nerve on my neck. His words made my heart drop in my stomach making me swallow hard. Saying that he let go of me and was out of my sight. I kept looking at the retiring car from my vision.

He again rubbed those words on my face from which I was trying hard to run.
