Part 48
Like Kritika promised Arnav, she did talk to Karan and managed to convince him to let him get married to the girl he wanted to, and he actually agreed for some reasons unknown.
Gladly, now there wasn't anyone to stop the wedding from happening apart from Meera who seemed to have disappeared so suddenly.
It was finally the wedding day, Khushi was quite nervous and excited at the same time, after everything that was happening, she dint even think this day would come, but it was here and she was finally going to get married to Arnav and spend her life with him.
Gladly neither did his parents nor did that psycho Meera do something, which was quite strange but who cared as long as they were getting married.
"You can now take a look." The makeup artist said as she stepped aside and let Khushi look at herself in the mirror, she was dressed in a beautiful red wedding lehenga, the makeup artist had styled her hair and did her make up very professionally, right now she felt like she looked like a celebrity, everything was so perfect, so flawless.
"I love it, thank you so much." Khushi smiled as hugged her happily.
"Now all set to get married to the love of your life." Avanti said as she walked into Khushi's room followed by Kiara.
"Oh my god, Khushi you look absolutely gorgeous." Kiara said as she opened her mouth wide in surprise.
"Seriously girl, you look beautiful." Avanti said as she admired her too.
"Okay stop it, I'm blushing." Khushi said as she covered her face with her hands shyly.
"Look at you blushing as if Arnav was the one that gave you a compliment. Today he's not going to be able to take his eyes off his bride." Avanti teased.
"Shut up girls." Khushi giggled as she continued blushing.
"Khushi, are you ready?" Her mom asked as she walked in, she stopped besides the girls and looked at her daughter with her eyes wide open.
"Wow" She said as she walked towards her and pulled into a hug.
"I can't believe my little daughter is getting married." She said in a sad tone.
"Even though I get married, I'm still going to be your little daughter." Khushi said as she broke the hug and looked at her mom with a smile.
"Okay, we should get going before I get emotional and make the three of you cry, it will ruin your make up." She giggled.
"Yeah, it's time we should leave." The girls said.

Mia walked in Arnav's room, Arnav was yet seated on the bed silently not dressed, he looked up at Mia.
"Why aren't you ready yet bro? It's time to go?" She asked.
"The stupid tailor, he got late with my wedding outfit now I am waiting for him, he's been telling me that he's on the way but he still hasn't arrived." Arnav said angrily.
"It's really late Arnav, everyone must be waiting for us at the temple." Mia said as she looked at the watch.
"Then do this, you leave with mom and dad and be there, I'll join you guys as soon as possible." Arnav said, Mia nodded as she headed out of the room and just then Arjun walked in.
"I was just coming to you, I hope you are ready." Arnav said to Arjun.
"I am but why isn't the bridegroom ready?" Arjun looked at him from top to bottom.
"The tailor had to do some fittings on my clothes anyway, I've told Mia to go to the temple with mom and dad, please go along, I don't want them to create any drama there while I'm not there, just handle everything, I'll come as soon as the tailor brings my clothes." Arnav said.
"Okay, I'll get going with them, just make it fast okay?"
Arnav nodded as Arjun too rushed out of the room in a hurry, Arnav picked his phone and called the tailor once again who said he was almost there, well that's what he had been saying since ages.
Arnav kept on pacing in his room impatiently, it had been over five minutes since everyone else left and this guy was nowhere to been seen, he was about to call him again when he heard a knock at the door of his room.
"Come in." he said.
The door opened and Meera walked in holding his wedding clothes, Arnav looked at her angrily."What are you doing here? And why do you have my clothes with you? Now I get why the tailor was late, it was all because of you."
"Oh how well you know me Arnav." She smiled.
Arnav walked towards her and he took the clothes from her angrily and headed inside the washroom to change.
"When I come out, I don't want to see your face, get lost before I do something terrible Meera." He said angrily.
He quickly got dressed and walked out but Meera was still there waiting for him, she was seated on his bed doing something on her phone, she stood up as soon as he walked out.
"I told you to get lost." Arnav said angrily.
"Oh don't be angry Arnav, I'm here to see how handsome you look in this wedding dress." She smirked as she walked closer to him and started touching him.
"What do you want Meera, why don't you stop all this and let me be in peace?" Arnav asked.
"You see Arnav, that's what I can't do, I can't let you get married to that Khushi because you should be getting married to me, not to a liar like that.
You know when I fell in love with you, you were such a great guy, but now look at you, always taking terrible decisions like forgiving the people who lie to you.
You know what you're doing? You're teaching people that's its okay to lie to you because in the end you are going to forgive them anyway." Meera said.
"What do you mean?"
"Do you want to know why your parents never loved you as much as they loved Advik and Mia? It's because they weren't actually your parents." Meera smirked.
"They are my parents, they did tell me I wasn't adopted, you think you're going to come tell me here I was adopted and they've been lying to me and you think I will believe you?" Arnav smirked.
"No Arnav, I dint say you are adopted. But what I am going to tell you is the truth darling. You see your dear mommy, Kritika, she isn't actually your real mother.
Just when your father got married to your mother, he had to go out of country for something business related, and there, he met your lovely mother, oh who by the way is no more.
It's quite a filmy story, Mr. Karan Raizada went to Switzerland in met your mother in the cold weather and suddenly they both had no control over their feelings or should I call it lust?
Now you know what the best part about this is? He never told her that he was married, so when she found out, she felt cheated and lied to, she came here, informed Kritika everything and at that time Kritika left your dad too.
Later on, he managed to convince her somehow and brought her back, and now the night your lovely parents had spent together, resulted into you, the man that I love. You see Arnav, I don't care whether you were the illegitimate son, I still love you, but do you still love your parents knowing that they've been lying to you all this years? That they are your real parents?" Meera asked.
"What nonsense. You think you'll come here and tell me a random story and I will believe it? I know your trick Meera." Arnav said.
"I knew you wouldn't trust me so I came with proof Arnav. Kritika never loved you enough because to her you were always the son of the other woman, and your father never loved you enough because to him you were just a mistake.
Do you see it Arnav, all this people that you love keep lying to you, even your dearest Khushi lied to you and you forgave her, look at you getting married to her also, isn't it funny? You're just telling everyone out there that it's okay for them to lie to you because in the end you are going to forgive them anyway.
Oh yes, the proof, here's the letter your mother wrote to your father when she left you at his doorstep. Here are the photographs to prove their affair.
Oh by the way did I tell you? that your father was so worried about his image that despite you being his own son, he decided to adopt you legally from your mother so incase the world found out, he would say you were adopted and not illegitimate? Here are the documents for the adoption." Meera handed him all the documents as Arnav sat down on his bed and looked at them all one by one.
Once Arnav went through everything that Meera had brought along, he had no other option than to believe she was saying the truth, here were all the answers he was looking for, he had them finally but what was he supposed to do with them?
Why did everyone find it okay to play games with his life? To lie to him? Meera was definitely right wasn't she? Everyone lied to him because he forgave them, they were just taking advantage of him and he was letting them.
"I want to be alone, Leave me alone Meera." Arnav said trying hard to control his tears.
"Sure Arnav, take your time." She smirked as she walked out of his room proudly knowing that this thing was going to affect him a lot, enough for him to decide that he dint want to get married to Khushi, and well that was going to work in her favor.
Everything started making sense now, all those words Kritika said to him, the way she warned his father, everything seemed to be falling in place, and as it all kept on falling into place, he kept on falling apart.
