giyuu

social life: people think he's really emo but also really conventionally attractive at the same time it doesnt matter if you're a boy or girl. hes the textbook antisocial introvert so shinobu and mitsuri took it upon themselves to invite him to join the hashira friend group. giyuu accepted excitedly (even if his face didn't show it) because he's never been invited to join a friend group before. he also talks to his juniors more than people his age so he doesnt really have friends his age.

best friend: sabito. he doesn't really see sabito anymore since he moved out of the country and switched schools but he does try to fly over to the country sabito is in to visit him every few years. he's relatively close to tanjiro who's also in the athletics club but he has no best friend per se in kimetsu academy.

gets annoyed by: no one but he feels like a lot of people get annoyed at him :(

love life: girls and guys are drawn to him because of his black cat energy, mysterious aura, athletic feats and beautiful writings. everyone can agree that he has really attractive deep blue eyes and really clear skin (even though the only step in his skincare routine is washing his face with water.) once in a while a girl asks him out but he always panics and says he's gay. when guys ask him out, he then panics and says he's straight. he might just be aeroace or bi but honestly he's just confused lol.

academic life: mostly Bs and Cs... and always narrowly avoids failing chemistry by like one mark, so he had chemistry remedial. he is really good at languages. his poems and essays are almost all models but he's really just trauma dumping his feelings

favourite subjects: PE, languages

before school activities: uses his phone until he falls asleep and never hears his alarm clock. barely makes it in time for school on most days and only wakes up because of tsutako (tsutako is 23 and the siblings left the orphanage when tsutako turned 21 and was old enough to take care of herself and giyuu)

after school activities: giyuu is in the athletics club, however he doesn't feel worthy to be there and here's why:
giyuu, sabito, murata and another boy were an unbeatable quartet in the relay race event in school games. an international coach was impressed by them so he told them that if they did well in the relay race event, the four of them could advance together with a scholarship into a school focused on athletics out of their country. (they were all around 13). giyuu was good at running and was at the start of the lineup, and sabito was the last runner. However, during the actual race he was so nervous that he tripped and fell as he was about to pass the baton to murata, fracturing his knee. the other boy and murata did their best but they couldn't pull through, that is until it was sabito's turn. miraculously sabito managed to salvage the race for them and they won first place. the international coach was especially disappointed in giyuu's performance so giyuu was the only one out of the four who didn't get a scholarship. sabito tried to reassure giyuu after the whole ordeal but giyuu was still upset. in the end, their coach urokodaki still comforted giyuu and said that even though he didn't recieve the scholarship, he believed in him. urokodaki helped giyuu train while his leg recovered (which took two years) and eventually become stronger than before and made it into the atheletics club in kimetsu academy again. although giyuu didn't want to join he also didn't want to let urokodaki down so he's there anyway. he was kinda depressed from that moment on because of how hard tsukado had to work to afford his medical fees and he felt like a huge burden.
giyuu also joined the library club because he reads a lot.
giyuu uses tiktok and twitter to doomscroll a lot. he also constantly wears black headphones and always listens to my chemical romance, imagine dragons and billie ellish. (basically depressed people music). he works at a mcdonalds on weekends.

attire: ties his hair into a messy ponytail as hes running to school. it's hard to spot him without his black hoodie. his uniform is a little messy but shinobu helps him readjust it in school because she cant stand how un-put together giyuu is.

school bag: black backpack. he constantly forgets his waterbottle though so he always has to resort to borrowing water from rengoku who is the least saliva conscious person on earth.

quirk: almost always bumping into people because he's so engrossed in his own thoughts, which causes people to catch butterflies but he's just really embarrassed about it and runs before they can say anything. he also always procrastinates his homework until the day it's due.
