The End Of His Reign.

Harwin Academy.

Mel groaned lightly on the large bed, he hadn't had a good night's sleep in a while and sleeping in had been the thing he needed the most, and some loving of course from Necmi, he always knew how to do it best. Late in the night Angelo snuggled into their bed, Mel just held the little angel as Necmi held them both, that was heaven in itself but now even with sleeping in, they had to wake up. "Ten more minutes babe." Necmi whispered as he buried his head in Mel's hair, it was ridiculously cute how he was the largest baby ever.

"It's midday, we have to wake up." Mel chortled as he snapped his fingers and made a pair of sweat pants appear on Necmi, he already had the larger sweater anyway, it just felt so good to wear it. "Fine, but I won't wake up without a kiss." He grumbled and Mel chuckled turning to kiss Necmi who almost pinned him down to the bed, luckily he anticipated it. "Dang it." Necmi hissed as he pulled back. "Come on, take Angelo with you and get freshened up." He told his mate as angelo whined with a yawn not wanting to wake up.

Mel was by the door as he watched the two drag their feet to the bathroom, children. He made his way to the kitchen to find his parents, and friends already there either playing games or just talking. "When did my dorm become your place of congregation?" He asked quirking a brow. "Oh hush now, they're welcome here anytime." Ceres chided her son who glared at her in return. "Good morning to you too." Hamish replied as he and Rizzavi were first to hug Mel morning, that hug was what he needed, the two of them were like limbs to Mel, he couldn't imagine not having them around.

"Good morning." He rumbled in return. "Now that you're all calm and sugary come over, I need your help." Ceres stated as Mel looked at the man that was his father and sighed, despite what happened it wasn't completely his fault and if his mother could tolerate him, why can't he try to aswell. "Good morning." So he said it, to him clearly surprising him. "Good morning Khalil." He replied with a smile as he drank the juice in front of him with a smile. "Your diet chart for Angelo is simple enough but what in the world is this, does Necmi eat any of this?" She asked and Mel laughed tracing his fingers on the chart he'd placed on the marble counter.

"He has to, he's got the worst reactions to celery and peanut butter, don't even mention any sort of ginger, I mostly cook with olive oil to make sure he and Angelo don't end up getting another reaction, I wonder how he even survived without me." Mel sassily replied as both his parents laugh. "I'll cook, you can sit down and tell me what's going on." He told his mother who sighed and sat next to Killian, the man was about to burst with happiness. "Mommy!" Angelo screamed into the room as he threw himself at Ceres, Necmi followed now fully clothed in respect of his future parents in law. "Morning." He stated kissing Ceres's cheek. "Good morning." He added nodding toward Killian. "Morning Necmi sweetheart, sit, Mel is cooking and we can debrief you." She replied as the others sent a chorus of morning.

"Half the school has been rebuilt with added features, panic rooms, shields, the works, but because its the end of the school year the students are all going back home early so we can finish the rebuild without any accidents, that's why your friends are here, they too will be going home soon, I sent for Sparrow a while ago, he should he here soon." Ceres explained as Mel placed a plate of food in front of Necmi, same for Angelo. "What about Korva?" Mel asked and Killian hummed. "He's more of a threat now than he ever was with his father free, but the Clair Haven and the Order are now dealing with him, but just to be safe, Necmi's father and the other heads have all gone to fortify Haven Rein, Demier and his mate have also gone back home, he's due soon so it's best he's safe in Oldenheim, a recent report says Belzephor tried to get into aether but somehow whatever you did wont allow him back in, you've locked him out, any demon who wishes entry with malicious intent actually which is amazing." Killian explained gushing over the last part.

"Glad I could help, so all my friends are going to Haven Rein?" Melrose asked his mother who nodded. "Something wrong Rose?" Killian asked and Mel just sighed. "I'm not going home with you guys, I'm going to my house, I was hoping Rizzavi and Hamish could come with along with Abe and Laurie." Mel stated as Ceres just smiled. "If that's what you want." Ceres replied but Killian frowned on the decision. "No, it's not safe there." He was being a typical father, Mel deduced that easily. "I won't be alone, I'll have my mate, my friends." He argued but the older male rubbed his head, stress and worry setting in. "I won't allow it Khalil, your mom may accept this but I won't, until it's safe you're coming with us to Haven Rein, all of you, and I don't want arguments, —not a single one." Killian hissed before standing up and walking away from the kitchen area to the balcony. "I'll talk to him." His mother whispered as she followed Killian.

"He's trying to protect you." Necmi comforted as he took Mel's hand and gently caressed it. "I don't need protection, I get he's worried, but I want to go to my home, finally show you all the amazing things about it." Mel replied as his eyes hardened, if the only way to go to his home was to make the world safe, then he might aswell do that. "Melrose no." Necmi stated in a hardened tone but he was too late, Rizzavi and Hamish were on their feet in seconds as Mel held out his hands to the two of them. "Khalil!" Killian yelled in fury, once Mel and his bonded were in contact they vanished and so did Necmi.

Making The Wolrd Safe.

"Mel your dad is gonna be pissed." Rizzavi muttered ss they appeared in the sky, Necmi right along with them. "Not a word, I'll punish you later." He growled as they looked down, it was a battle between hordes of demons coming out of  portals and angels from the Clair Haven and Order fighting. There was no deciding which side was winning. Mel materialized armour on all of them as he scouted the ground below. "Hamish close those portals, nothing gets through, Rizzavi aid the angels in the middle, Mel freeze time around Belzephor, I'll take him to an open area then we can put him back in his prison, go." Necmi ordered as the four of them descended into the chaos in a bright flash of glory.

Hamish was first as his salt pillars turned everything into salt, destroying most of the demons caught in his onslaught. He created a wall of salt high into the sky separating or rather cutting off the horde of demons pouring through with the thick wall, any who tried to fight past it were immediately turned to salt, four circles of runic symbols appeared at his feet each one passes through him and went to an opened portal, once in position he snapped his fingers and a pillar of salt as wide as the portal itself rammed into it like a plug to the other side, once the portals were plugged Hamish opened his link to Mel's power, as his salt turned from white to golden, forcing the portals to close completely.

As the four closed, eight more were left but before he could move onto them, a large demon rammed into his side throwing him into the nearest building. "Ow that hurt." He groaned getting to his feet and charging for the bull horned demon with a salt blade coated with a white flame, the two clashed in vicious battle as Hamish sliced its right arm off, blasted it with crystal light and sliced through its leg, he didn't waste time shooting up into the sky and conjuring white flames into his palm, creating a fire ball and scorching the demon with it. He dropped down to the ground and  concentrated creating eight runic circles and like before they plugged the holes.

"Insolent brat." Another demon hissed but he couldn't stop the process, so he created four salt walls around him cutting off any attacks below or above and to the sides. Opening the link to Mel again his circles turned golden forcing the portals to closed instantly, the demon from before blasted his walls with ferocious power destroying his walls but the work was done, he just needed to make sure another portal wasn't opened so his wings materialized and shot up into the sky, he smirked toward his attacker but soon had to dodge because they had aimed a spear at him, Hamish materialized a salt shield that was stabbed through by the spear but he was high enough to implement his plan, he conjured salt like sand and commanded it to his will, creating a massive net of salt that revolved around the battle field like a never ending storm, it would cut off any portal opened and turn any demons who tried to pass into salt.

Rizzavi was having the time of his life as his vines did what they did best, impale and explode, he killed thousands in minutes significantly helping the other angels advance on the bigger demons. As the snaller demons were cut down, now bigger demons roared into action. "This is gonna hurt." The angel in armour next to him muttered but he scoffed. "It's not." He retort as the ground shook, most angels and hunters were safe in the air and others away as Rizzavi made large beanstalks sprout out of the ground like giant snakes, he opened himself to Hamish's power and turned them into crystal, then opened himself to Mel's power turning them black, he used them as whips and chains, anything they touched turned to crystal whilst smaller vine made them explode into black sand.

He kept going pushing them back until they began sacrificing themselves to destroy his creations, someone was giving them orders. "Watch out!" Someone screamed to him and his body ran on instinct summoning a black shield around him that absorbed the attack aimed right at him from above. "You won't destroy my plans, I won't let you!" Korva screamed as his black energy imbued with lightning destroyed his own demons, and some of Rizzavi's weaker vines along with throwing back all the angels, Rizzavi knew Hamish had put up a shield and maintaining took a lot of power so he was alone facing a greater demon.

"Well only one way to know if I'd win." He mumbled to himself as two bean stalks slammed Korva out of the sky into an already broken red brick building. "Hmm, that wasn't so bad." He grinned as he charged with more angels behind him aiming to kill a demon.

Necmi was on one knee healing the cut to his leg whilst Mel was getting up. "You're just children, it took more than children to put me in that prison, and I wont go back without a fight." Belzephor hissed as Necmi smirked and Mel smiled. "Good, we were hoping for that." Mel stated as golded spears stabbed through the demon, Necmi's violet light scorched him until he fell to one knee as Mel blasted him again with golden holy light, as Necmi rammed his blade of light into the demon, Mel was creating the golden skull. "Emtomb my enemy in your chaos." He called it forth and it appeared above Belzephor, the golden skull created a prison of its own around the demon and tormented him with tremendous pain.

"Make it stop!" Belzephor screamed as his raw energy blasted through the prison but he was sufficiently injured. Necmi was first as he delivered an upper cut to the demon which threw him into the air, Mel appeared above Belzephor with clenched fists and pummeled him back down to the ground where he created a crater, Necmi didn't stop his assault, a chain of holy light appeared in his hands, he imbued it with celestial power and chained Belzephor with it. "No, I won't be chained, I won't!" He screamed as Necmi summoned more of his power, it created a pink disk of brimming light that he concentrated, imbuing it with celestial power, he flew above the crater and blasted Belzephor with it making the crater he was in already —bigger.

It left the demon unable to speak as his skin had been peeled off and bleeding. "Korva." He whispered out. A roar echoed in the air as Korva tried to get to his father but Rizzavi had him impaled by a crystal pillar pinning him to the ground. So Belzephor was alone as Mel summoned what was his power to the surface, Belzephor knew what came next so he pulled whatever power was left and attacked Mel with a dagger he conjured, he leapt into the air with Necmi right behind him, he slashed at the taller angel but missed, then attacked Mel who dodged by swaying to the right, grabbing Belzephor's hand with the blade and using it to stab him, Necmi also conjured a white blade and impaled the demon from the back.

White symbols spread over Belzephor's body chaining his very soul making him docile. "Father!" Korva screamed as he shot straight for Mel but it was too late for Korva to reach Belzephor. Necmi came forward and unleashed scorching celestial light on Korva holding him back. "Durga, guardian of the gates, I have a prisoner for you." Mel called out to his aunt and a lime green portal opened above them. "We just finished making his prison more comfortable." Durga cheekily replied as she appeared from her portal, Mel allowed his true power spread around them, in the air, the earth, their very beings as he encased it over Belzephor, the aether would not accept him without that restraint, another portal opened by Durga's will and Mel waved his hand making a docile Belzephor float through. "Father, no!" Korva yelled but it was too late, Durga closed the prison door for all time then nodded to her nephews before going through a portal herself.

"I'll be back." Korva warned as he turned to smoke to flee but Necmi caged him in creating a light bubble that trapped the demon. "No more running Korva, no more hiding, this end here!" Necmi called out as the demon materialized in his demon form and aimed black lightning at Necmi but golden sand protected the angel turning the very lightning into sand aswell. "You will not harm him." Mel hissed as he unleashed a beam of golden holy light on Korva, he hissed and took the brunt of the attack but retaliated with his black smoke that detonated everything around Mel and Necmi but it didn't harm them as it was all turned to salt.

"I wondered why when we were in the aether my power, my heart, my intuition told me to protect you, even now balance won't be restored by killing you, it'll be restored by making right to a wrong, you should've been a happy soul, full of hopes and dreams not this monster." Mel exclaimed as his father, Ceres, his bonded pair and all the heads of the other houses appeared from nothing. "So this it, you'll all gang up on me." Korva hissed but Mel smiled sadly and shook his head in refusal. "No dear one, I will give you what you're owed, not this pathetic painful existence." Melrose replied as he nodded to his bonded pair.

"To be reborn, one must die." The two spoke as one, Hamish and Rizzavi both encased their power over Korva, their appearance changed as celestial power poured out of them, each of them two pairs of wings as the others around them gave them their strength, it didn't mean Korva didn't struggle, the demon fought and tried to break off the power but it was overwhelming as Necmi's light along with his father's shined over Korva in a rainbow sparkle. "Let Raziel's light, guide you." Necmi muttered as he poured all he had into the demon as he died through Hamish, and woke up through Rizzavi, Mel came forward and poured his power into Korva, this time it wasn't just golden, it was all the colours his eyes turned into.

Time moved backwards, as Korva's body was destroyed, his memories, the darkness, the hate, the tear in his very soul that was the very reason for his darkness was healed and purified, he was made anew, as light in a burning white encased all of them until it faded away to reveal the innocent eyes of a new born, unaware of the world, pure and free. Ceres moved forward and took the babe wrapping him in Killian's jacket. "Balance was to make right the wrong, Korva wasn't meant to die completely, he was to be reborn, and to grow without his darkness, he and his mother could help make right the wrongs of their predecessors." Mel explained as he looked to the heads of the great houses, they all nodded toward him and his mate before descending to help on the ground.

"Is the world safe now?" Mel asked his father. "You're in so much trouble Khalil." Killian hissed. "But I'm also proud of you, all of you." He added looking at them with affection only a father could give. "So do you want to name him?" Hamish asked Ceres who refused with a shake of her head. "I know someone whose been waiting for this her whole life, to have her child again, watch him grow up, teach him, and I know that's what he deserves." Ceres replied as she smiled toward the boys.  Killian held out his hand and a transparent portal opened next to him. "We'll see you soon." Ceres stated as she went in first and Killian followed.

"Korva's mother has been alive this whole time?" Hamish asked in astonishment and Rizzavi nodded with a chuckle. "Hmmm, she must be pretty old." He added and all they could do was laugh. "Let's go home." Necmi asserted in laughter as they all vanished and appeared back in his dorm room. "Hey, you're back!" Haden cheered as Angelo woke up immediately feeling the presence of his brother in the room. "Khalil." He whined making grabby hands, and once he was rested on Mel's shoulder he was asleep again.

It was night time in their part of the world so their friends had most likely gone to their dorms to pack. "I'll get started on packing." Rizzavi began but Abe stopped him and whipped him around to kiss him. "Hmmm, I've wanted to do that all day." The hunter whispered after kissing his angel passionately. "I also packed for you and me, as did Laurie with Hamish, its in the spare bedroom, so Mel just needs to pack and we'll—." Abe paused as Necmi walked out of his bedroom with Mel with already packed bags and cases. "How did you do it so fast?" Abe questioned and Rizzavi chuckled. "Babe, we're going on end of year semester break for two months, it doesn't take a genius what we'll need, most likely our whole wardrobes since the rebuilding of the school will add an extra month to our break." He explained as Abe made an oh sound.

"Idiot." Laurie chuckled as she went back to kissing Hamish. "So where is Denali and Matteo?" Mel asked as Haden perked up from Kean's lap. "She went home already to get something ready, your mom said she could visit you any time so saying goodbye was pointless." Haden explained and it was true, there was direct access from his mother's home to his so anytime someone could visit. "Love can you tell the dorm cleaners to take whatever is in the pantry and freezer, we don't need it." Melrose told Necmi who nodded as he began tying furiously on his phone.

"How do you get him to be so obedient?" Haden asked with a dreamy sigh at Mel who scoffed, whilst Kean groped him making him yelp. "He pleases his man beyond enough." The arch angel whispered in Haden's ear turning his face into a tomato. "Hmm, I should try that." He mumbled to himself as Mel just chuckled.

After freshening up and finally ready to leave, Mel and his friends stood at the oldengate of the school. "You'll love the sights the most." He told Haden who just nodded accepting the hug from Mel, he was going to Oldenheim with Kean, and since Kean's home was in Haven Rein only different territory, they'd have to pick who went to whose home, but that was their issue.

"Take care of yourself Melrose, I'll see you at the new years ball." Kean exclaimed and Mel nodded hugging Kean. "You're hosting this year, I won't miss it." He told him as they all said their goodbyes and finally Kean with his hunter went through the portal. "Anyone know what happened to Selena or her sister?" Mel finally asked and Abe laughed. "I wonder how you got this far without noticing she wasn't here, —she apparently had to go home, something about Lya needing help but she promised to visit." He explained and Mel nodded hoping the girl was alright, he might have reservations about her but she was family, that wouldn't change.

"Leaving without me?" Ceres asked as she came out of her own portal with a dazzling smile. "I thought you'd stay a day or two there." Necmi muttered and she nodded. "I am but I still had to see you off, Harry is having trouble with your aunt so he couldn't make it, but that doesn't matter, I'm just glad you're okay, and that you're safe, you deserve this peace my love, you've earned it." Ceres expressed as she hugged her sons. "Now go, all of you before I get emotional, have fun, and rest a lot, I'll check up on you in a few days alright." She added waving them off as they walked through the portal Mel had opened. "Love you mommy in law!" Necmi called out and Ceres blushed.

"Love you too sweetie!" She replied as he was last to go through and the portal closed. Ceres couldn't help smile to herself, she was happy, content, finally her children were happy, the school during breaks wouldn't handle missions so no student was there, except the workers who got their leave later, it was still beautiful, Ceres went to open a portal but a presence behind her made her smile as she turned. "We did good you and I." The image of the celestial angel Lucifer himself spoke as he looked at the beautiful creation that was his successor.

"Yes we did, finally it all went according to plan." Ceres replied and the angel nodded with a smile. "So just we're on the same page, mistress." Lucifer asserted and Ceres chuckled. "I won't tell if you don't." She reassured as the portal she opened moved on its own and closed in on her just as the image of the celestial vanished into twinkling fairy lights.

That's a wrap of Harwin Academy, Mel's year learning at the prestigious school, of course the story has a part two but for now we end here. So that I can make out the plot for part two of the book which will actually come some time later in the year.
