Harumi had her face pressed up against the shop window, a giddy smile on her face. She watched as the little kittens pounced and played with each other. Lloyd had promised her a cat if she was absolutely perfect during her stay with the ninja (he didn't think she would accomplish it being the brat she is) and today was the day she got that cat. Walking into the store, the duo looked at all the different animals and pet stuff, Harumi over the moon and Lloyd clearly distraught at the fact that he was about to spend more money than he really had. After about five minutes the younger of the two ran up to her partner, an older looking cat with a permanent grumpy expression on his face.

"Why this one? He looks mean," Lloyd said tittling his head in confusion as Harumi just nuzzled the animal in her arms.

"So what, I'm mean so we'er a perfect match," Harumi replied, deciding to be defensive for the cat.

"Alright go pick out all the stuff you need I'll hold, uh..." Llloyd paused looking at said cat asking fo his name. "Jinx" was all Harumi said before running off and grabbing all the required items. Lloyd just stood there as the brown and white feline glared at him.

"You know you're going have to share her right, she is my my girlfriend and I had her first." Lloyd could not believe he was telling that to an animal but at this point he just let the weird stuff happen.

"Alrigth boys, let's go pay and head back to my apartment," Harumi practically yeld into the blond's ear before grabbing his wallet and running up to the front desk.

Back at Harumi's apartment she sat on the couch petting her new companion while Lloyd filled the litter box and set up the cat tree. After he was done he went over to the couch, moved Jinx and laid in his girlfriend"s lap. He closed his eyes nearly driffinting to sleep as Harumi ran her hand through his hair, blissifulliy unaware that he was going to become the new scratching post for Jinx.

"Alright boys you do not need to fight over me, Lloyd you can lay back down and Jinx you can sit right here." Harumi said, gently picking up the cat and moving him to a section of her lap that was free. "Thanks for getting me a cat Lloyd; you are amazing, really" Harumi whispered before placing a small kiss on his forehead.
