Feelings From Within

I know how you feel.

I've also felt

heartbreak and sorrow.

I've smiled and I've cried.

And cried some more.

There were times when

I wanted to tell you

and everyone how I felt,

but whenever I tried to speak,

You weren't there for me

I needed you

My heart had cried out for you.

But, you never heard.

Then, you wanted me to speak

My silence spoke for me.

When we first met,

I felt that we had a connection.

That's what you had implied

But, I was wrong.

Now I Know,

I've learnt what

heartbreak and sorrow is.

I'll hide my tears,

Place a fake smile but,

I'll never reveal

The feelings from within.
