Harry's POV
I was sitting the living room drinking some hot cocoa while watching a Christmas movie. Christmas was always a very comforting holiday for me since I get a few weeks off from doing music. I've also been very sore and tired lately so relaxing in a warm home comforts me. I also happen to be a giant and most people assume that giants don't celebrate any holidays but that's not true. A lot of giants love Christmas. I then lose my train of thought when I heard something move in my gingerbread house. I walked up to see what was wrong with it but when I looked inside, I noticed a human girl was in there and she looked terrified.

Y/N's POV
I was literally hoping the giant would never find me considering I came into his house without permission but I had no choice. I ran away from my controlling ex boyfriend. He controlled everything I did and couldn't take it anymore. I felt a lot safer in this gingerbread house than my old place but now that the giant found me, I was so scared that I thought he was going to eat me. "P-Please don't eat me, Mr. Giant. I-I didn't mean to sneak into your home. I just needed to find a safe place to live." I began to cry and hug my knees expecting the giant to crush me to death or eat me in one bite but instead he carefully opened the door and placed his hand down outside the door. "I won't hurt you, little one. I know you're scared but I'll be very gentle with you, ok?" The giant's voice was surprisingly very calming to me. When I walked towards his hand, he was bigger than I thought he was. But he was also very handsome and beautiful to look at which made me feel a little bit more comfortable. As soon as I climbed onto his hand, not only was he very gentle but his hand was very soft. It was way softer than any couch and bed I've ever been on. I held on tightly as he lifted his hand up in front of him. "Why don't I bring you into the kitchen? I've got cocoa."

Harry's POV
I could tell this girl was still a little hesitant which I don't blame her for. There are giants that harm humans for no reason and I never wanted to be like that. I like to make people feel more welcome no matter what size they are. I gently set the human girl down on the table. "So does this little cutie have a name?" I asked. "I-It's Y/N." Said Y/N while rubbing her arm. "It's wonderful to meet you, Y/N. My name's Harry." I said introducing myself as I poored a tiny bit of cocoa in a mug from a doll house set so it'll be small enough for Y/N to handle. However it was still pretty big for her but she still had a good grip on it. "How is it?" I asked. "It's really good, Harry. I haven't had good cocoa in a while." Said Y/N. "I'm glad you like it. It's made with oatmilk." I said. She gave me a shy smile. "Why are you smiling?" I asked curiously. "Oh. I-I didn't realize that I was smiling. I-I'm so sorry, Harry." That's when she started to shake. "Y/N, it's ok. I'm not mad." I said carefully scooping Y/N in my hands. "You're in no danger here. I can definitely tell you've been hurt in the past and for literally no reason. But I won't let anything happen to you while you're here. You're completely safe." As soon as she was done with her cocoa, I gently took the cup away and decided to give her a gentle kiss. "You're so little. It's been a while since I've seen a human. Most humans run away after they encounter a giant. You're one of the few humans that didn't." I said as I cradled her against my tummy. "I didn't run because I needed a safe place. My ex boyfriend was a control freak and would berate me at any given moment." That broke my heart. "I'm so sorry you went through that. You don't need to worry about him anymore. I'll keep you safe." That's when I brought Y/N into the living room, kept her cradled against my tummy, sat in a rocking chair, turned out the lights, and looked out the window up at the stars.

Y/N's POV
I began to shake as Harry turned out the lights as I've always been afraid of the dark. "I'm right here, sweetheart. I know it's dark but I wanted to show you something beautiful." I was confused until I looked out at the stars. I never noticed how beautiful the stars looked outside of a window. "Wow." I said. "It's beautiful, isn't it? I've always loved looking up on a super starry night. I would take you outside but it's really cold out so it's best look out the window." Said Harry. "I really appreciate you saying that. I do get cold easily. Your sweater is warmer than any blanket I've ever owned." I snuggled deeper into Harry. "Well, feel free to snuggle with me for as long as you like." I then looked up at him with smile and climbed towards his face. As soon as I reached his nose, I gave him a kiss. "Merry Christmas, Harry." I said hugging his nose. "Merry Christmas, Y/N." Said Harry as he gently took me off his nose and gave me a kiss. His lips were huge but very soft. "Why don't you get to sleep? You've had a long day." I snuggled against his tummy as soon as he placed me down. I immediately fell asleep knowing he made me feel safe. Not only is Harry the most gentle giant but he's also the sweetest guy ever and I don't ever want to leave him.
