Casual reminder that Remus Lupin was not the "nice one", he was who held onto a grudge so hard that 20 years later he humiliated his colleague in front of a group of 14 year olds to make himself look cool.

Whoa whoa whoa you mean the colleague who bullied a thirteen year old so relentlessly that he became his GREATEST FEAR? The colleague who vindictively outed him as a werewolf even before any of the Sirius shit came to a head? The colleague who fought on the side of unambiguous fucking evil in the war, and only changed sides when their rampant heartless murder threatened the woman he claimed to love despite being a racist shot to her and every other Muggle-born?

Remus relied on Snape to prevent him from turning into a rampant monster once a month.
What would he gain by antagonizing him? He didn't choose the form of Neville's boggart. All he did was help a child overcome his fear.
